Fairmont Crest will have another new resident soon when Dominique Madison joins the cast of Beyond the Gates. Fans of the show will get to know her soon as Lynette Wise...but where her ties are remains to be seen. Whether she's a friend or foe of the Duprees, though, Madison says she's ready to bring the drama.

Madison told Women for the Culture that she is excited about the new role. Of Lynette, she shared, “She is juicy, she is fun. And she is ready for the Gates.” Expect to see her at the end of the show’s first season, and the beginning of next season as well.

As for Madison, she has been busy before making her way to CBS’ newest sudser. Viewers will recognize her from her work on shows like Greenleaf (as Kimora), Trace, and King Ester, as well as movies such as Dutch, Dutch II, and Fight Night.

Madison also starred in 2024’s Tubi Original, Married to a Balla, and is back for the sequel. Married to a Balla 2 is premiering on November 21st on Tubi. 

Already Part of the BTG Family

Beyond the Gates’ Maurice P. Kerry (Randy Parker) and Dominique Madison (Lynette. Wise) have something a little more in common than both being nominated for best acting categories in the upcoming People’s Luv Choice Awards. The pair have crossed paths in their careers, but now they’ll be sharing a screen.

Madison has already begun filming her scenes, so we should be seeing her soon. Madison and Kerry shared a behind-the-scenes look on set. They jokingly whispered together as filming was happening behind them, but were crafty enough with the camera not to let us in on too much before the big reveal!

Madison was on the red carpet last night with Kerry for the premiere of his movie, Friend Zone, streaming now on AllBlk. The film also stars Nzinga Imani, Angelo Diaz, Brely Evans, and Cheryl Frazier. Kerry is also starring in the upcoming fifth season of Netflix's Stranger Things.

As for the People’s Luv Choice Awards, Kerry and Madison are both up for Best Actor and Best Actress. Voting is now closed, but the winners will be announced on December 6th, 2025. The awards will be held at Studio House Atlanta, with the red carpet arrivals at 5:00 pm EST and the awards show starting at 6:30 pm EST.
