Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful aren’t limited to those who watch the show — behind the scenes, the cast is pretty fond of the crew as well.
It’s Holiday Time at The Bold and the Beautiful
Casey Kasprzyk, executive producer at The Bold and the Beautiful, shared some photos on his Instagram stories of what’s going on this week at the show’s new locations at Sunset Las Palmas Studios in Hollywood.
His photos revealed that they were filming some of the holiday episodes this week — which also lends some depth to his reveal yesterday that Matthew Atkinson, who plays Thomas Forrester, was filming all week.
Clearly, Thomas is home for the holidays. But given his mood the last time we saw him, will a family Christmas be just what he needs to cheer himself up? Or will his mom have gotten herself into a world of trouble with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) by then, and be wishing for coal in her stocking instead of incurring the wrath of Sheila (Kimberlin Brown)?
Kasprzyk gave a glimpse into the fun time the cast and crew have backstage. He posted a photo of the sign at the entrance that was decorated with holiday wreaths and garlands, with the words, “Roll sound! Roll camera! Cue holiday cheer!”

Kasprzyk noted that it was a busy week at B&B, and for good cause. He showed a memo for “B&B’s Spirit Week” dated for this week. “Join the fun with themed dress-up days throughout the week,” it said, with Monday and Wednesday being Dodger Blue (in support of the L.A. Dodgers baseball game in the World Series), and Thursday for Halloween costumes.
For Tuesday, cast and crew were invited to wear their “festive holiday gear and join us on stage at 1pm for our annual greeting.” Lou Trabbie, the production designer for The Bold and the Beautiful, also shared some photos on Instagram. Noting that they were shooting their Christmas episode today, he shared photos of the Forrester mansion with stockings hung over the fireplace for Kelly, Donna, and Hayes. He also shared “only a sneak peek” of one of the gorgeous Christmas trees and a holiday flower bouquet, noting that they were from Urban Florist.
Last year, Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) went all out for Halloween at Il Giardino. Trabbie recently noted that he was loving the new set as he was able to design Deacon’s restaurant like one you’d actually like to visit. Viewers will notice the extra room at the new set, with more tables and room to walk around — aka more drama.
Romy Park, B&B’s Poppy Nozawa, is also a fan of the set — and of Trabbie. She recently shared BTS photos and captioned that the Il Giardino set was her favorite. Aside from the aesthetics, the mouth-watering food we see on the dessert tables in the restaurant might actually be real. She thanked Trabbie for saving her some without her having to ask!

Fans had high hopes when Mattew Atkinson teased he was returning to The Bold and the Beautiful in August, but his time on air was brief. He’s back on set this week — could this be the return viewers were hoping for?
Thomas Forrester Returns to The Bold and the Beautiful
In August, Matt Atkinson teased on his Instagram that he was back at the studios of The Bold and the Beautiful. While he was casually playing cornhole outside the building, his character, Thomas Forrester was storming around the set with both barrels blazing.
Thomas came home, lost and distracted. He was embarrassed that his fiancée, Paris Buckingham, was involved in yet another scam by her parents to pay her dad’s gambling debts. He felt he had no choice but to call off his engagement, but in addition, his (and Hope’s) son Douglas being old enough to travel with school friends, and Thomas not working on a particular line, he had nothing to look forward to. Depressed, he came home in hopes of being around his newly-engaged parents, and thought that seeing them finally living their happy-ever-after would cheer him up.
But it all went sideways when Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) did a Ridge, and spectacularly dumped Taylor (Rebecca Budig), leaving a Ridge-shaped cut-out in the front door, and not only ran back to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), but married her before Taylor shed her third tear.
Thomas was livid — so much so that he shook Brooke as he screamed in her face that she had continually ruined his family throughout his life. But just like that, he calmed down, accepted his father’s choices, and, we assume, moved on with his life.
Why Is Thomas Back on The Bold and the Beautiful?
Today (newly promoted executive producer), Casey Kasprzyk, showed a backstage picture of himself with Atkinson on Instagram, noting that it was nice to have him back on set this week.
We have so many questions from one brief IG story — and brief appearance last month. Is Thomas back to stay? Hope was just taking applications for potential new designers for Hope for the Future? The line was at its most successful when Thomas has lead designer — is he back? Is Thomas just checking in on his mom after her heartbreak — only to find that she’s getting close to Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan)?
Will Thomas have anything to do with Remy (Christiann Weissmann) or Luna (Lisa Yamada)? Or has Thomas, despite his lashing out last time, truly changed? We didn’t see him cross paths with Hope at all last time, but would he give her his blessing for her new engagement if he did?
So many questions, so little time…to wait. Expect to see Thomas back on The Bold and the Beautiful in a few weeks, and until then, we’ll keep you posted on any B&B news and spoilers of what he’s going to be doing back in town.

The Bold and the Beautiful is kicking off the holiday season with a celebration, a surprise guest, and a feast for those who want a side scoop of spoilers.
The Bold and the Beautiful Thanksgiving
Get your DVRs ready! The B&B holiday season will start this year on the episode airing Wednesday, November 26th, when Thanksgiving goes with a hitch.
First, the Finnegan-Forrester family is reunited in time for the holidays. Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) has returned for her respite out of town with the kids. Unfortunately, bringing her stress level down on their vacation was all for naught as when she returned, Finn (Tanner Novlan) told her the horrifying news that Luna (Lisa Yamada) was actually alive.
On the Thanksgiving episode, Steffy, Finn, Taylor (Rebecca Budig), Kelly (Sophia Parras McKinley), and Hayes (Alexander and Chase Banks) settle in for a family feast. Do they have much to be thankful for? Or has Luna’s existence taken over their reasons to celebrate?
The family gathering is interrupted by a surprise guest. Is it Luna? Or has Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) come to spend time with his family? Or is it a surprise that they would welcome, and Thomas (Matt Atkinson) has returned — and if so, would he be sticking around this time?
Meanwhile, across town, Deacon (Sean Kanan) and Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) are spending the holiday together at Il Giardino. The couple has been on the rocks since Deacon’s son Deke (Harrison Cone) told his dad that Luna was alive, instead of hearing it from his wife.
If lying that Luna, who killed Deacon’s best friends Tom Starr (Clint Howard) and Paul “Hollis” Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers), wasn’t enough, Sheila admitted that Luna returned to the scene of the crime, drugged and assaulted Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) — on Deacon’s watch!
Deacon turned to Taylor for counsel and comfort, but that might stop when Taylor encounters Sheila. With the threat of Luna being alive already a concern, does she really need Sheila coming after her as well?
Sheila and Deacon, whether out of desire or lack of options, do spend Thanksgiving together. But decide to invite another couple to join them: Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Daphne (Murielle Hilaire).
Deacon and Carter have never been close, unless fists connecting to jaws count. But Deacon wantsto get Hope (Annika Noelle) away from Carter and back with Liam (Scott Clifton). Maybe helping Carter and Daphne spend more time together is his way of helping to get what he wants.

Fans of Jacqueline MacInnes Wood were thrilled today when The Bold and the Beautiful actress shared the first photos of her new bundle of joy.
Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Shares Baby Photos with The Bold and the Beautiful Fans
On her Instagram today, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester) shared photos of her new baby — and revealed the little one’s name, Talon. In a catch-up post, Wood captioned, “Welcomed a beautiful, healthy baby boy at home. This season has been all about being still, soaking in every precious moment, and embracing the quiet magic of new beginnings. Social media took a little back seat, but I’m so happy to be back and say hello again.”
Wood shared an inside peek into her personal life, from labor photos in a bathtub, to holding her new baby while kissing her husband, Elan Ruspoli. Talon is baby number five for the couple. “The life you and Elan have created is so beautiful,” responded Casey Kasprzyk, supervising producer for The Bold and the Beautiful.
Wood also showed photos of her returning to the set for filming, playfully riding a bike through Las Palmas Studios, and in hair and makeup.
The Soap Scene warmly congratulates Jacqueline and her growing family on their fantastic news.

This year, The Bold and the Beautiful has two stars presenting at The 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, as well as four nominations in three categories.
The Bold and the Beautiful at the Emmys
Scott Clifton is no stranger to the Emmys — the actor has been nominated ten times, including last year for the Lead Actor category. For his performances as B&B’s Liam Spencer, Clifton won Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2013 and Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series in 2017. Clifton also won the Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series Award in 2011 for the same role.
Prior to that, Clifton’s Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series nominations were for his roles on One Life to Live (2010), and as Dillon Quartermaine on General Hospital (2004, 2005, and 2006).
This year, Clifton will be a presenter, along with his co-star, Lisa Yamada (Luna Nozawa). In addition to presenting, Yamada has been nominated in a new category, Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Series.
“I’m nominated alongside some very talented people, so I’m honored to be recognized,” Yamada told Women’s World. One of those people is Christian Weissmann, who plays B&B’s Remy Pryce — Luna’s friend on screen, and Yamada’s best friend outside of the show.
As for Yamada’s Emmy evening, she has been considering her fashion. She told the outlet, “I won’t be in a silk slip dress—that’s so unflattering on me. I love a structured bodice or corset top. I also don’t like to wear black or white on a carpet, because I feel like everyone does. I like to pop out a little more. My last rule: Make sure my posture is good and my toes are done!”
The Bold and the Beautiful Emmy Nominations
The Bold and the Beautiful is also nominated for Outstanding Hairstyling and Makeup, a nod celebrated by B&B star Naomi Matsuda (Li Nozawa). The actress shared photos and BTS video of her in the make-up chair this summer when the nominations were announced.
Clint Howard, who played Tom Starr until his character was, ironically, killed by Lisa Yamada’s Luna, has also been nominated for Outstanding Guest Performance in a Daytime Drama Series.
Instead of being televised, the 52nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards will be streaming at watch.theemmys.tv

Luna Nozawa, a good girl gone horribly rotten. The role has had every fan of the show talking, and now she’s sharing her thoughts on playing Luna.
Lisa Yamada of The Bold and the Beautiful
When Luna Nozawa first came to town on The Bold and the Beautiful, she was a seemingly young, naive, innocent girl fitting in with the elite at Forrester Creations. No one saw dark side of Luna, until it was too late.
Yamada told Women’s World that the personality change was something she suggested at a 2023 Christmas party to executive producer and head writer, Bradley Bell. She told him she was ready to tap into Luna’s bad girl side, and apparently, he more than considered it. When she received a script the next year and realized she was the murderer of Tom Hollis (Clint Howard) and Hollis (Hollis W. Chambers), she got her wish…and then some.
Luckily, Yamada had some inspiration of how to portray the evil Luna. Don Diamont, who plays Bill Spencer, became Luna’s father figure on the show, and a mentor off-screen.
Likewise, Kimberlin Brown, also known as B&B’s and Y&R’s Sheila Carter, is the ultimate villain. Yamada credits her on-screen grandmother for her guidance as well. “Kimberlin told me from the jump that being a bad girl is the most fun. You get to be a part of the most intricate storylines,” Yamada shared with the outlet.
Luna has gone beyond being just “bad”
Now that she’s an integral part of several characters’ storylines, Yamada finds the workload heavy but creatively fulfilling. ”I am getting to act out these storylines that 90% of actors don’t ever get to perform. Sometimes it’s a little exhausting, but I’m lucky to be exhausted doing what I love to do.”
“Clearly, I’m not condoning anything she’s done, but for the sake of me getting to continue playing her, I would love to be on house arrest and find a way out of the ankle monitor,” Yamada shared. She also noted that she would like to see Luna and Will (Crew Morrow) have a Bonnie and Clyde moment.
That might be a ways off given that Will loves his girlfriend, Electra. “I love being at odds with Electra, because it means Laneya Grace and I get to have more scenes together,” Yamada explained.
Enemies on-screen, but besties off
As shared in many social media posts, Yamada spends her time off with her on-screen adversaries like Morrow and Grace, Harrison Cone (Deke), as well as Christian Weissmann (Remy), whom she was good friends with before joining the show.
Yamada and Weissmann were both nominated for Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Series at the 2025 Daytime Emmys.
Yamada will also be a presenter at The 52nd Daytime Emmy Awards this Friday, October 17. Stay tuned to The Soap Scene for all the winners as they are awarded.

The Bold and the Beautiful Annika Noelle Surprises FansThe Bold and the Beautiful star Annika Noelle shared with her fans this morning that she wed her fiancé, John Patrick Amedori, over the weekend.
A Bold and Beautiful Wedding for Annika Noelle
Annika Noelle, who plays Hope Logan on The Bold and the Beautiful, surprised fans with wedding photos this morning. “ Ceremony at High Moon,” she captioned on Instagram.
The actress told People that she and her fiance, John Patrick Amedori, wed in an “intimate autumnal” ceremony at The Lodge at Malibou Lake in Agoura, California, that was "full of dark whimsy and wildness."
"We wanted it to feel like we were surrounded by nature, almost like the flower arrangements were growing from the ground and everything was lit either from the full moon or by candlelight," Noelle told the outlet.
Theh couple shared that they wanted their wedding to be unforgettable for guests, and chose for it to be “unplugged.” Without phones allowed, it gave everyone the chance to be more present and just enjoy the event with friends and family.
The wedding weekend began on Saturday. Cornell Wine Co. hosted a welcome party with an open mic for guests to give toasts, perform a song, read a poem, etc.
On Sunday, the bride and groom exchanged vows, with their close friend Mike Nicholas officiating. The ceremony included handwritten vows, scripture, the exchange of wave and celestial themed rings with personal engravings, and a Celtic handfasting ceremony.
Annika Noelle knows fashion. As Hope on The Bold and the Beautiful, she has her own line, but for her wedding, she found her “dream dress” at Lorien Bridal Boutique. The gown, by Watters Designs, is called the Persephone.
As Amedori walked to the altar, “True Love Will Find You in the End” by Daniel Johnston was playing. When Noelle walked down the aisle, guests listened to an acoustic cello and guitar version of “Strange Magic” by E.L.O. Post-ceremony, the couple walked down the aisle together to "(They Long To Be) Close to You" by Carpenters. The reception included a family-style dinner including butternut squash ravioli, braised short ribs, and cod.
There were customized cocktails (Amedori’s Old Fashioned for him, and a smoked pineapple margarita for her), and an autumnal dessert bar. The wedding cake was a three-tier vanilla cake with fresh raspberries and Earl Grey buttercream.
The Soap Scene sends the warmest best wishes to the happy couple.

On The Bold and the Beautiful, tensions run high between several characters, but behind the scenes, it’s all smiles.
The “Cast Kids” of The Bold and the Beautiful
Remy Pryce (Christian Weissmann) and Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) became fast friends on The Bold and the Beautiful — but it’s even friendlier off-screen.
The pair often shares photos of them hanging out together and with their significant others at parties, celebrations, concerts, and more. This week, they shared some photos of the “cast kids” together.
The pictures featured Yamada kissing Weissmann’s cheek in one photo, and in another, Weissmann, Yamada, and some of their castmates, including newcomer Harrison Cone, who plays Deacon’s (Sean Kanan) son and Remy’s boyfriend, Deke, as well as Crew Morrow, B&B’s Will Spencer, and Heidi Grace Engerman, who plays Lainey. The group gave a shout-out to “missing” Laneya Grace (Electra Forrester).
The Grandmothers Club
Luna may be a divisive character, but she’s reuniting nearly all of fake L.A. these days. Two characters that have consistently had issues are Luna’s aunt and grandma (long story), Li Nozawa, and her other grandma, Sheila Carter (yep, THAT Sheila Carter). From wars of words to pasta flinging, these two have never been buddies (“Don’t call me crazy” is still on hold), but lately, their common bond has made them almost seem like friends.
Luckily, when the cameras aren’t rolling, the two get along quite well. Actresses Naomi Matsuda (Li) and Kimberlin Brown (Sheila) shared a behind-the-scenes photo together, and Matsuda took fans for a walk through the new studio as well.
It's Not Always A Walk In the Park
Not every day is all smiles, but Romy Park (Poppy Nozawa) demonstrated her determination to push through when she was under the weather.
The triple threat is also a singer and dancer, and she shared a photo of herself sautéing in the air, captioning, “I hate missing ballet. Skipped yesterday and skipping today, but I’ve learned that if my brain isn’t working at full capacity, class is ‘pointe-less.’ If I can’t work correctly, it becomes nothing more than mere exercise. And ballet is so much more than that.”
From L.A. to Italy
They may play mother and daughter on screen, but Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) and Ashley Jones (Bridget Forrester) are besties in real life.
The pair often turn up in photos on each other’s social media accounts — and in Italy, a country they have said they dream of both living in one day.

Bridget’s Back to Get Results!
Luna (Lisa Yamada) has completely overturned the lives of everyone in L.A., not only by still being alive, but by attacking Will (Crew Morrow) — and claiming she is pregnant with his baby. But since she has a history of test tampering, Katie (Heather Tom) isn’t taking any chances.
This week, Ashley Jones returns as Dr. Bridget Forrester, who comes to Bill’s (Don Diamont) house to perform a paternity test. But will the results be a sigh of relief and a one-way ticket to prison for Luna? Or will her dream coming true mean a nightmare for everyone else?
The Family Tree
Li (Naomi Matsuda) has already chewed Luna a new one on Friday’s episode, but she’s not done yet. Li has some more opinions and finger-pointing to share while she processes her role in the making of a monster called Luna.
Look for Romy Park to return this week as Li’s sister, and Luna’s mother, Poppy Nozawa. She’s one of the next to find out that not only is her daughter alive, but she’s pregnant. When Poppy hears all that Luna has done, where will she stand? Will her guilt of everyone’s opinion of her mothering weigh in, or will she stand firm on how she felt when she thought Luna had died?
Finn also finds out this week about Luna — and his mom has some explaining to do. Will Poppy have the tables turned, and be the one finger-pointing at everyone else this time?
A Lot To Think About
Electra (Laneya Grace) has leaned on her aunt Ivy many times this past year, and next week is no different. With everything going on, Electra’s had the rug pulled out from under her in her first real relationship, and she’s having trouble navigating some big emotions. Ashleigh Brewer is back as Ivy Forrester to help her niece through a very difficult time.
Fashion Forward
As the Forresters continue preparing their next collection, more time is spent on the practice runaway behind the CEO’s office. On Tuesday, Alexis Gaube portrays Petra, one of the Forrester Creations models.

On Thursday’s episode of B&B, The Nose became The Voice in a bold and beautiful performance when Daphne Rose took the stage for Il Giardino’s open mic night.
Murielle Hilaire of The Bold and the Beautiful
On The Bold and the Beautiful today, Murielle Hilaire, who plays Daphne Rose, had the audience asking one question: Was that really her singing that song? The answer is: YES.
On her website, Hilaire shared her passion for singing, and where she inherited it. “My mother gave me music. She is a remarkable singer - and an even better cook. I inherited only one of those talents (guess which). Our house was filled with song, and though I never mastered the kitchen.. Music became a language which never left me,” Hilaire wrote.
Hilaire also shared videos of her singing, with one song being performed in French. The actress talked about her role as Daphne, the French perfumist who collaborates with Forrester Creations. Daphne has also been and on-again-off-again flirtation for Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor, and by the looks of his reaction to her performance today, she seems to have caught his attention once again. Will she be able to croon to Carter again?
Carter just set Hope (Annika Noelle) free to return to Liam (Scott Clifton), and Daphne seemed to volunteer her comfort to the broken-hearted man she finds herself so drawn to. Chances are pretty good that viewers are going to watch the romance between Carter and Daphne heat up in the coming weeks.
On her website, Hilaire wrote, “Today I’m Daphne on The Bold and the Beautiful. My character splits time between Paris and Los Angeles, letting me balance the show with the pursuit of other creative projects. The pace is quick - and I’ve had to master the craft and rhythm of the set, learning lines (at lightning speed), and knowing my light.”
Hilaire shared that she began her acting career in Guadeloupe. It was there that she landed her first lead role on television, after which she moved to Paris (ironically, where her B&B character comes from). Hilaire said she she continued to work in French TV and film before relocating to Los Angeles. “I modeled, shot commercials, and finally stepped into my first U.S. feature film, The Ritual Killer where I played Maria Kersch — the detective partner to Cole Hauser’s character. The role gave me my first real taste of action, a genre which I’d always loved, and whose waters I’m eager to dive deeper into,” she added.
As for Daphne Rose, fans are watching to see where Carter’s heart leads him next (presumably straight to Daphne’s waiting arms). But after today’s surprise performance, they are also waiting to see the next time Daphne sings.

Ashley Jones, also known as Bridget Forrester on "The Bold and the Beautiful," premieres her new thriller on Lifetime tomorrow night. The B&B star and Alina Thompson shared their first joint interview this week when they sat with The Soap Scene to talk about the movie.
The Bold and the Beautiful’s Ashley Jones’ new movie
On Lifetime Saturday night is the premiere of the movie, “The Girl Who Survived: The Alina Thompson Story.” Based on true events, the film covers the nearly fatal miss that then-teenaged Alina Thompson experienced in the 1980s. The Bold and the Beautiful's Ashley Jones plays Alina’s mom, Nancy Thompson, and is the executive producer. Jones and Thompson sat down with The Soap Scene for our first interview, and their first one together.
Thompson explained that telling her story brought up a lot of memories, but it’s a story that has terrorized her most of her life. As a young teen, she aspired to be a model and started attending photographer events on weekends in the L.A. area, which attracted many young girls, hopeful that they would be discovered. It was there that she almost lost her life, if not for her quick-thinking father.
In an effort to protect his daughter, Carl Thompson attended the events with his camera and pretended to be a photographer, Thompson explained. One day, a man named William Bradford was taking pictures of Alina when he lured her away from the group and into an alley. Other photographers told Carl where his daughter was, and he raced to find her. When he did, Carl began taking photos, keeping up the ruse that he was a photographer as well, causing Bradford to get frustrated and storm off. “His car was there in the alley,” Alina said. At the time, neither she nor her father realized the true danger she was in: Bradford was a serial killer and had been stalking her for two years. Today, she has no doubt that he was planning on taking her that day, and would have if her father hadn't intervened.
Today, Thompson is a model and actress — and a mother. She recalls how the police explained she was part of a cold case file of Bradford’s victims. Although he was convicted of two murders, there are at least over 40 other possible victims that the police are aware of, and others that were lucky enough to get away, like Alina.
Making of a movie
One night, Jones was at a dinner party with her producing partner, Pierre David. She overheard his girlfriend, Alina Thompson, talking with some models about their experiences with William Bradford in the 80s. Once she heard about the serial killer and Alina’s near miss with a devastating fate, Jones knew there was a story to be told. She researched the killer, and they created a pitch for Lifetime. Less than a year later, they were filming.
Thompson calls the movie a tribute to her late father, whom she credits for saving her life. In the movie his quote is said twice that "No is a full sentence." Jones hopes that the movie resonates with viewers as a reminder to be aware of the dangers around themselves and their children. Thompson adamantly agreed, and said if telling her story saves just one person, then it was all worth it.
Watch “The Girl Who Survived: The Alina Thompson Story” on Lifetime, Saturday, September 20th.
