The Young and the Restless Weekly Recap June 1-5, 2026: Phyllis Gives Back Newman Enterprises

Victor issued Nikki an ultimatum, Matt Clark regained his memories, and Phyllis surrendered Newman Enterprises. Elsewhere, Noah opened a new version of The Shadow Room, Lily received Chancellor from Victor, and Daniel struggled to forgive Phyllis despite her decision to give the company back.

Victor Demands That Nikki Choose

Victor told Nikki that if she wanted to save their marriage, she had to end her friendship with Jack Abbott. Nikki was stunned by Victor’s ultimatum. After Victor walked away, Nikki experienced another painful headache.

Later in the week, Victoria urged Victor to consider reconciling with Nikki after Newman Enterprises was returned to the family. Victor also fulfilled his agreement with Lily and signed Chancellor over to her. Nick objected to the decision and warned that Nikki would be devastated.

Matt Clark’s Memories Return

Noah recreated The Shadow Room in Genoa City and brought Matt there in hopes of triggering his memories.

As Matt looked around the club, memories began returning. He remembered confrontations with Nick, Sharon, Noah, Sienna, and Victor.

Matt became overwhelmed by memories of his crimes and repeatedly apologized. He told Sienna, Sharon, Nick, and Noah that he was horrified by what he had done.

Nick brought Matt back to the Newman ranch. Matt admitted that he deserved punishment and begged for the chance to make amends.

Victor questioned Matt about his remorse and later decided to keep him close while determining whether he had truly changed. By week’s end, Victor informed Matt that he intended to put him to the test.

Phyllis Returns Newman Enterprises

Nick thanked Phyllis for saving his life but demanded that she return Newman Enterprises to his family. When Phyllis refused, Nick warned that he would tell authorities that she knowingly harbored Matt Clark after learning his identity.

Michael attempted to negotiate a resolution, and Phyllis ultimately agreed to return the company if all charges against her were dropped. Phyllis brought Michael and Christine to the ranch and demanded that Victor admit the evidence against her had been fabricated. Victor eventually acknowledged that the emails were not legitimate.

After Christine agreed to drop the case, Phyllis signed the company back over to the Newmans. Victor celebrated with Nick, Victoria, Adam, and Chelsea after Newman Enterprises was returned to the family.

Daniel Rejects Phyllis’ Attempt To Make Amends

Phyllis met with Daniel and told him she had returned Newman Enterprises. Daniel was relieved that the company was gone but questioned whether she gave it back because it was the right thing to do or because she had no choice.

Phyllis told Daniel that she wanted him and Summer to be proud of her and broke down in tears. Daniel remained unconvinced and challenged her to admit responsibility for her actions.

After Phyllis left crying, Sharon told Daniel that Phyllis had sacrificed a great deal and questioned whether constant rejection would help her make better choices. Later, Sharon found Phyllis alone and encouraged her not to give up on herself.

Lily Receives Chancellor After All

Devon warned Holden not to use his connection to the Winters family for personal gain and made it clear that he did not trust him. Lily later confronted Devon and accused him of lashing out at people under the guise of protecting her.

After Victor regained Newman Enterprises, he honored his deal with Lily and transferred Chancellor to her. Lily later met with Cane and asked if he would consider running Chancellor for her.

Noah Opens The Shadow Room

Noah unveiled a Genoa City version of The Shadow Room and explained that he wanted to create new memories in a place connected to so much pain. Sienna was unsettled by the recreation of the club but supported Noah’s plans.

As opening night approaches, Noah has invited Daniel to attend. Audra also expressed interest in seeing the club for herself.

Sally and Billy Plan Their Future

Sally and Billy began making wedding plans and discussed their future together. Billy asked Jack to serve as his best man, and Jack happily accepted.

Jack also shared his concerns about Diane’s disappearance and admitted that he feared Patty might be involved. Sally later shared an emotional goodbye with Adam. The two discussed Ava and reflected on the life they had lost.

Adam and Chelsea Discuss Another Child

After hearing about Sally’s pregnancy, Adam asked Chelsea if she would consider having another baby. Chelsea told him that she did not want to go through another pregnancy and wanted to focus on Connor.

Adam accepted her answer and later admitted that Sally’s pregnancy had resurfaced feelings about Ava’s death. Chelsea encouraged him to talk openly about those emotions rather than keep them bottled up.
