The Young and the Restless Weekly Recap July 27–31: Victor and Nikki Reunite as Billy Learns Sally’s Secret
TL;DR: In this week’s The Young and the Restless weekly recap for July 27–31, 2026, Victor and Nikki found their way back to one another, Billy discovered Sally’s secret deal with Adam, Lily and Cane reunited, Matt chose to stay in Genoa City with Phyllis, and Adam’s future within the Newman family remained uncertain.
The Young and the Restless Weekly Recap July 27–31

Victor and Victoria wasted no time confronting Adam and Chelsea after Newman Media was returned to the family. Although Adam insisted he had acted to protect everyone involved, Victor remained unconvinced and questioned his son’s motives. Adam later admitted to Chelsea that while part of him still craved Victor’s approval, he no longer wanted to sacrifice his family life chasing power.
Adam regretted surrendering Newman Media but decided that building a future with Chelsea and Connor mattered more than fighting another Newman civil war. Even so, Adam’s role in reclaiming Newman Media continued to create fallout throughout the week, particularly after Billy learned exactly how the deal had unfolded.
Billy and Sally’s Relationship Is Tested

Billy’s trust in Sally suffered a major blow after Victoria inadvertently revealed that Newman Media had been handed back to Adam without Billy’s knowledge. Feeling blindsided, Billy questioned why Sally had hidden the truth from him and wondered what else she might be keeping secret.
The situation became even more complicated when Sally admitted that Adam had secretly paid her as part of the agreement, but insisted the payment had to remain confidential to protect everyone involved. Billy initially struggled with the deception, and was unhappy that Adam realized she’d lied to Billy for him, but eventually accepted Sally’s explanation. By week’s end, the couple agreed to move forward together as they prepared for the arrival of their baby.
Nikki’s Darkest Moment Ends With Hope

After reaching an emotional breaking point over her blindness, Nikki suffered a terrifying nightmare in which an unseen tormentor stalked her through the ranch while eerie strains of “Three Blind Mice” echoed around her. The terrifying ordeal ended when Victor woke her from the dream, and Nikki realized she could once again see light — and then Victor’s face. Doctors later confirmed she appeared to be on the road to a full recovery.
Nikki’s relief was tempered when she learned Nick had quietly checked himself into rehab. Nikki regretted not being there for her son and vowed to support him now that her own crisis was easing.
Victor and Nikki Reconcile

As Nikki’s health improved, she and Victor finally confronted the issues that had driven them apart. Victor apologized for kicking her out of the house, so she forgave him for what he did to Jack. Declaring that his love for Nikki was stronger than his hatred for Jack, Victor asked her to come home, and the couple reunited.
Lily and Cane Find Their Way Back to Each Other

Lily and Cane spent the week rediscovering the connection that had once defined their relationship. After sharing dinner, talking about their family, and hearing encouraging responses from Charlie and Mattie, the former couple admitted that their feelings had never truly disappeared.
Cane confessed that he loved Lily more every day, and she answered with a kiss before the two made love for the first time since reuniting. The following day only strengthened their optimism. Although Devon’s unexpected visit briefly interrupted their happiness, Cane and Lily looked ahead to building a future together, joking about keeping their workplace romance under wraps.
Devon Questions Everything

While Lily embraced a new beginning, Devon found himself overwhelmed with uncertainty. Unable to explain his emotions to Abby, Devon admitted to his sister that he was questioning nearly every aspect of his life, including his identity and the legacy he’d inherited.
Their conversation ended with Devon acknowledging that he felt completely lost, while Abby was left heartbroken by his emotional distance. However, Daniel was with her and suggested what they both needed was a night out on the town.
Matt Decides to Stay — and Grows Closer to Phyllis

Matt spent the week trying to break free from Victor’s control. With Phyllis’ help, he removed his ankle monitor, declared he was finished living under Victor’s thumb, and decided to remain in Genoa City instead of running away. Their growing attraction soon turned into a passionate romance, and Matt later reassured Phyllis that he intended to build a real future with her rather than disappear.
Victor was less than impressed. After learning Matt had abandoned the ranch and intended to move in with Phyllis, Victor warned that defying their agreement would have consequences. Matt remained unfazed, making it clear he intended to live life on his own terms.
Noah and Sienna Clash Over Matt

Matt’s return also created growing tension between Noah and Sienna. Sienna admitted she still remembered the kind, compassionate man Matt had once been and wasn’t convinced he was beyond redemption.
Noah, however, believed Matt remained a danger and vowed to drive him out of Genoa City for good. Their disagreement escalated when Noah interrupted another conversation between Matt and Sienna, prompting Sienna to insist that nobody — including Noah — would control her decisions.
