TL;DR: In today’s Young and the Restless recap, Victoria tells Billy she’s willing to send him to prison, then finds out he’s engaged to Sally, and they’re having a baby. Meanwhile, Jack and Kyle plot to use Patty to keep Nikki away from Victor, and Diane confronts Victor about his wicked nature.
The Young and the Restless Recap May 4

Claire and Nikki met at the Chancellor Park Cafe and talked about horse riding. Claire suggested that Nikki go riding with her, noting that the ranch was so big she could go to the stables without running into Victor.
Nikki said she’d like to return to the job that she loved at Chancellor but doubted there was much chance of her reclaiming her position now. She suggested that Claire run it instead. As Claire and Nikki debated on whether or not Claire should take over as CEO, Lily overheard as she approached. She asked if Nikki was taking back control of Chancellor.
Nikki said that she wasn’t going to, but wanted to know what deal Lily had with Victor that got her to go along with the kidnapping. Lily told Nikki that she’d just wanted Cane to be taught a lesson, nothing more or less. After she walked away, neither Claire nor Nikki looked convinced.
Jack Works Patty

At Crimson Lights, Patty oozed all over Jack when she saw him, so he tried to get her to admit that Victor hired her. Patty maintained that she didn’t know who sent her to the yacht.
Jack reminded Patty that he was drugged, but she told him she couldn’t stop thinking about their night together. As Patty cooed that she wanted Jack as much as he wanted her, Kyle walked in and saw them talking closely.
After Patty left, Jack told Kyle he was trying to get it out of her that she was working for Victor. Kyle said there was nothing sane about Patty and thought she was still in town because of Jack, not Victor.
Kyle worried that it could have been Diane who walked in, instead of him. Jack said that at this point, it was on Diane to figure out what she wanted — and whatever that was, they had to accept it. Kyle told Jack to give Diane more time. He suggested that Jack focus on his marriage and let him go after Victor for what he’d done.
Jack and Kyle conspired that the best thing to do to Victor is to take away the one thing that meant more to him than Newman Enterprises: Nikki. Jack said they could use Patty to make sure that Nikki never went back to Victor.
Diane Confronts Victor

At the GCAC, Diane ran into Victor, who deemed her still living at the club proof that Jack had broken her heart. Diane told Victor that he was an evil man, and it was refreshing to know that he was losing everything.
Victor growled that when he lost something, he got it back. “Oh, really, have you told this to Nikki?” Diane quipped. Diane said that Victor didn’t care about anyone that he hurt; it was just all about winning.
Victor walked away to the bar, but Diane said she wasn’t finished. She asked him why he destroyed so much and didn’t care who he hurt. “No, I don’t,” Victor agreed. Diane hoped she’d see the day when he was so far down that he couldn’t climb back up.
Diane told Victor how infuriating it was to have a man so devoid of character keep coming out on top, despite the way he hurt people. “I know what I want, and I go for it,” Victor shrugged.
Patty Gets Under Diane’s Skin

Patty came in and shared that she was having a great day. Diane fumed when she and Victor acted like it was the first time they’d seen each other in a long time. Diane rubbed it in, telling Diane that she’d been with Jack at Crimson Lights and talked about love and freeing themselves of things from the past.
“How lucky that you and Jack can be free together but just so you know, nothing’s changed. Even after all these years, he will always want me more,” Diane seethed before leaving. Patty bragged that Diane was delusional and Jack was back in her arms. Victor told Patty that if she could keep them apart, she was a gift that kept on giving.
From across the room, Diane watched as Victor and Patty clinked their drinks, and Patty told Victor of her dedication to breaking up Diane and Jack.
Victoria Warns Billy She’s Trying To Send Him To Prison

Victoria dropped by Billy’s, who thought they were going to talk about picking up the kids from school together, have a celebratory dinner, and drive back to Genoa City. Victoria said she wanted to come by to give him a heads-up that they found emails on Chancellor’s server that implicated him in the illegal ownership transfer of Newman Enterprises.
Billy told her that they weren’t real and chalked it up to Victor threatening people again to get what he wants. Victoria maintained her story, even when Billy asked if the plan was to send him to prison if needed to get what they wanted.
Billy asked what the emails said about him, exactly. “You’re mentioned as having played a role, which you did,” Victoria said. “That’s it?” Billy scoffed. He insisted that he did nothing illegal. Victoria told Billy that he participated and that was enough, and that it wasn’t the first time he’d gunned for Chancellor, calling it a ploy to accommodate his ego. Billy rolled his eyes.
“So the answer’s yes,” Billy said calmly, “You’re willing to just stand there and let your father take me down. I guess it’s too much to ask for you to use the backbone I know you have? No, you’re always going to choose your father, aren’t you?”
Billy warned Victoria that he did nothing wrong and she needed to go tell her father to leave him out of his revenge scheme, or he would regret it. Victoria argued that Billy had brought it upon himself by coming after her family, but he knew the evidence was fake. He said that Victor was coming after Jack, now him, and wanted to know how she rationalized it.
Victoria Doubles Down

Victoria told Billy that he dished it out to Victor just as much as he got it, but Billy said he did things in self-defense. When he called her a spin machine, Victoria yelled at him that he was an obsessive, selfish ass.
Sally interupted by coming home, and when she came into the room, Victoria noticed her ring. Billy confirmed they were engaged, which seemed to take Victoria aback, and said that it seemed like a sudden decision.
Billy added that Sally was pregnant. “Life’s good. Lots to look forward to… blue skies and all,” Billy said. Victoria agreed that a baby changes things and gives a perspective on what’s important and what’s not.
Billy told her he was going to tell the kids when he went to get them from school. He told Victoria she could meet him there, but thought they should drive separately. Victoria said she understood and wished them well. Once alone, Sally wanted to know what she’d walked in on, so Billy told her. He said there was no doubt that charges were going to be filed against Phyllis and Cane, but didn’t know what it meant for him.
