The Young and the Restless Recap April 29

At Society, Holden, Stephanie, Cane, and Lily discussed their good luck that Cane was a match for Malcolm. They said a toast to Cane, who seemed humbled.
Stephanie and Holden both thought it was either divine intervention or, at the very least, just meant to be that Cane was able to come through. Everyone was grateful that he even tried.
They talked about the process and how Lily felt when she fought cancer. When Stephanie went to leave, Cane told her he’d take care of her bill at the club, and Lily explained that he owned it.
Stephanie told Lily that she knew in her heart that her parents would be proud of her for how she was handling all of this with such grace. She told Cane that she also knew in her heart that he was a good man.
Cane and Lily Reconnect

After they left, Cane asked if Lily had to leave, but she chose to stay so they could hang out for a while. Cane told Lily that he was doing it for her, and that Malcolm brought her into the world, and he was grateful for that.
“But I’m also doing this for my father,” Cane shared. He said that with his dad, all he could do was say goodbye, so he was taking action with someone else’s father in hopes that it would help heal something inside.
Cane got teary-eyed talking about hearing the kids’ voices earlier and seeing Lily smile. He said knowing that he made her happy in some way meant a lot, and he thanked her for giving him the opportunity to do it.
Lily told Cane that she didn’t see Dumas anymore; she just saw him. “And it’s really nice to have you back,” she added. Lily apologized for scaring him and lying that she and the kids had been kidnapped.
When they left, Cane offered to walk Lily to her car. She told him she was fine, but wasn’t in a hurry to say goodbye. Lily thanked Cane again and gave him a hug. They looked at one another for a moment and then Lily leaned in and kissed Cane on the cheek.
Billy Figures Out How He Feels

At home, Billy was reeling with emotions about the baby. He’d gone shopping and got Sally 15 types of tea and was nervous chatting, saying that it was amazing how much space in your mind a baby takes up, and it was all he could think about.
Billy told Sally that it didn’t matter how he felt; he just knew that Sally needed her space, as she was the one who was pregnant. Sally pressed to know how he really felt, so Billy blurted out, “I’m so ecstatically happy about this. I mean, I’m terrified, but with excitement.” He rambled about how they were financially stable and had family and friends who would love the baby, too.
“You’re going to be an amazing mother, and I’m so happy — but that’s just me. You don’t have to agree with me, but I’m here, and I love you,” Billy gushed. Sally told him she was there, too, and had never felt so loved in her entire life.
Sally admitted that she worried that Billy would feel trapped, but he insisted it was a gift. Sally asked him not to give her space as she wanted to feel close to him and know that he wanted this, too. Billy and Sally went to the bedroom and made love.
Later, they were lying in bed, cuddling and talking about baby names. Sally wondered about the baby’s last name and whether they’d hyphenate it.
Billy said there was a solution to that and told Sally he loved her. He said when he pictured his life, he pictured it with her; otherwise, it didn’t make any sense.
Billy told Sally he wanted her to know what she meant to him, even since before the baby. He pulled out a ring box and took off the lid, showing her a diamond ring. “Sally…will you marry me?” Billy asked.
Adam Returns — Alone

In Las Vegas, Chelsea waited anxiously by herself in the hotel room, wondering why no one had called yet with an update, when Adam came through the door — alone.
Adam told Chelsea that they were getting Nick to the car when the building blew up, and the car went up in flames. He said that Sharon and Noah took Nick to the hospital.
“For burns?” Chelsea gasped. “For drugs,” Adam told her. He explained the whole story that he let Nick have drugs, thinking that was what he needed, but apparently, what he had was a tainted triple dose left by Matt in the storage room.
Adam told Chelsea everything, and how Victor’s team showed up and got them out there. He was grateful that Chelsea called Victor, but said this wasn’t the outcome that Matt wanted, so it wasn’t over yet.
Chelsea shared that Riza had taken off and she didn’t know where, and that Sienna had shown up but gone to look for all of them. She said she had no idea where she was, but she told Victor that she was there. “I just hope she didn’t run into Matt,” Chelsea sighed.
Nick Explains His Addiction

Nick, Sharon, and Noah returned to the room; Noah said the hospital released him but insisted on drug treatment. Adam told him to remember this moment: the four of them telling him that he needed help.
Nick didn’t want to talk about it, and asked to pick it up when his head wasn’t pounding. “We almost lost you today. Can you please just admit that you need help?” Adam asked. Nick told Adam it wasn’t his fault, as he would’ve found a way to take the pills anyway, even if he knew they were tainted.
They talked about Matt taking credit for Nick getting addicted to pain killers, but Nick said it started when he put Matt in his trunk. Nick admitted that he blamed Matt for a lot of things, but the addiction was on him.
Adam and Chelsea revealed that Sienna had been there and went looking for them. Adam and Chelsea wanted to go home, but Noah wanted to stay and find Sienna.
Nick immediately said he would stay, and then they all argued about who was staying and going. In the end, Sharon and Nick stayed with Noah and Adam, and Chelsea wanted to leave immediately for the airport.

Nick stopped Adam to thank him and tearfully hugged his brother goodbye before he and Chelsea left. “Get home soon,” Adam told him, and Nick said they’d do their best.
Sharon was just telling Nick that he wouldn’t have to deal with his drug addiction alone when there was a knock on the hotel room door. Noah ran over and opened it to find a disheveled and bloody Sienna.
A weakened Sienna stumbled in the door as Nick asked what had happened and where Matt was. “He’s dead. I killed him,” Sienna told them.
