The Young and the Restless Recap April 16

While Sally mused about how she felt like she was pregnant, she stalled taking the test. Audra confided that she had a positive test once.
Audra shared that she’d found out she was pregnant after she and Noah broke up and that she didn’t tell him at the time because everything was already messy. Audra feared he would think she planned to trap him all along, or that she was lying or only telling him to make him feel guilty.
“The thought of that killed me. We went from being so in love to so ugly and twisted,” she recalled. She just didn’t want Noah to say something negative about the pregnancy or her.
Sally cried as she shared her story as well, and how much she missed Ava. Audra admitted that she sometimes thought about how her life would have been different if she’d had the baby.
Audra didn’t know if she and Noah would still be together, but wondered about the baby’s cheeks or how much hair they would have. “But I don’t think about Noah…I can’t,” Audra cried softly.
Sally said that she knew Adam would have been an amazing father to Ava, but credited him and Chelsea for being so strong.
Audra didn’t want her story to influence Sally. “This is about you,” she reminded her. Sally said it was scary, and she needed some time to be ready to take the test, so she went to the bedroom.
Jack Meets With Billy

Billy went to Society and called Jill to tell her that he was postponing his trip, but not canceling. He met with Jack and told him that Sally was sick. Billy thought something else was up, and wasn’t sure what, but wondered if she was hesitant about his reunion with Jill.
Billy said he was sidetracked, and that wasn’t why he wanted to meet with Jack. Billy asked if he’d reunited with Diane yet.
Jack vented about how much he’d groveled to no avail. Billy was a little surprised that Jack sounded upset with Diane about the situation.
Jack explained that he knew it was unforgivable, but had forgiven Diane for something no one should have gotten over. He couldn’t believe she wouldn’t consider it.
Billy reminded Jack of the shock it was for them to go from being so worried that he was in danger to finding him in bed with someone. He thought Diane needed to heal from the shock first. “Why am I the only one trying to heal this marriage?” Jack wondered, but Billy couldn’t answer that.
Jack sighed that he would try again, but if she didn’t budge, he didn’t know what he would do. Billy got a text from Sally to come home, so he told Jack he had faith it would work out for him and Diane before leaving.
Jack Reaches Out

When Jack got home, Kyle told him that Diane had come by for more of her stuff. Jack sounded tired of trying and said it took more than one person to rebuild a relationship.
Kyle hoped his dad wasn’t giving up on Diane and told Jack that Traci had told her straight that she could give him some grace. After Kyle left, Jack called Nikki and asked if she wanted to go for dinner.
Audra Leans On Noah

Audra went to Crimson Lights and ran into Noah. They sat on the patio, and she told him that there was something she always tried to put out of her mind, but she couldn’t that day: London and their baby.
Noah gently told Audra that he wasn’t there for her because he didn’t know, but the reason she felt like she couldn’t tell him at the time was his fault. He apologized to her, and they hugged.
Matt Doubles Down About Nick

In the hotel room, Chelsea asked Matt what was wrong with him for telling a lie like Nick died. Matt raised a pretend glass and said they should toast the Golden One.
Adam grabbed Matt, demanding to know where Nick was, so he told him that he’d heard that Nick had taken some fentanyl to calm down and then taken some cocaine to come back up, and that’s when things turned bad.
Adam told Matt that he would tell him where Nick was, or he would kill him. Matt scoffed, but Adam told him he wasn’t noble like his brother, and he’d done things that would probably impress someone as sick as him. “Oh, we’re bonding,” Matt laughed.
Adam demanded that he take him to Nick, but Matt assured him there was no hurry. “Is Nick ill? Is he in danger?” Chelsea wondered. “No, the danger has passed because Nick has passed,” Matt said.
Matt laid into Adam, accusing him of knowing Nick had an addiction and not doing anything about it. He guessed that it began after their car accident.
When Adam demanded again, Matt cheerfully agreed to take Adam to see Nick, and Chelsea insisted on coming along. “No, not you. You stay here with Riza and compare notes,” Matt offered. “Not a chance,” Chelsea grimaced.
Chelsea Questions Riza

Chelsea didn’t want Adam to go anywhere with Matt alone, but they had no choice. When Adam and Matt left, Chelsea told Riza she was supposed to be a badass but just rolled over for Matt. She wondered whose side she was really on.
Riza and Chelsea argued about Ronnie/Matt, and she wondered why they were even playing this game if he was so dangerous. Riza also wondered why Chelsea let Adam go to Vegas and wondered if she was concerned about Adam being Spider again. Chelsea looked disturbed when Riza told her that Adam seemed to enjoy being there and could easily see him slipping back into his old life.
Chelsea told Riza that she was fine with it because there was one goal: to find Matt. The two verbally sparred some more, with Chelsea insulting Riza’s judgment for hanging out with Matt, and Riza asking what Matt ever did to the Newmans. In the end, Chelsea warned Riza she had better pray that Nick was found alive.
Meanwhile, Matt took Adam to the storage closet where Nick was, and found him lying on the ground. While Adam felt for a pulse, Matt took a fire extinguisher and hit Adam over the head with it, knocking him unconscious. Matt left both of them sprawled on the ground and walked out.
The Results Are In

Later, Sally returned to the living room and told Audra she was pregnant. She was shocked and couldn’t say it out loud yet. Sally noted that she was disappointed when Billy didn’t make the changes he had promised to. She felt that this was one big talk that would change everything, and had called him to ask him to come home so she could tell him the news.
Audra was just leaving as Billy came home, and she barely talked to him on her way out. Billy was worried even more that something was going on.
Billy fussed over Sally’s symptoms, but she told him she wasn’t sick and knew what was wrong with her. “I’m pregnant,” Sally told a speechless Billy.
