On The Young and the Restless episode on Monday, November 24, 2025, Daniel and Tessa wow the crowd at Danny and Christine’s wedding reception, while Phyllis toasts the bride and groom…her way.

What Happened on The Young and the Restless

At Crimson Lights, Cane told Phyllis he was going to get going, but she thought they should spend the afternoon doing something creative. “Challenge accepted,” Cane told her.

At the GCAC, Danny and Christine thanked everyone who could make it to their wedding. Nina and Lauren whisked Christine away to get changed, and Danny told Gina that everything felt right in the world.

Danny told Michael, Tracy, and the Winters that it still didn’t seem real to him, but he toasted Christine as the real rock star. Across the room, Daniel got stage fright and told Tessa he couldn’t go through with their performance.

Upstairs, Nina told Christine that it wasn’t Phyllis who sent the flowers, it was Esther, and she didn’t know about Christine’s allergy. They gushed about the ceremony and how well it all went.

When they returned to the reception, Gina announced that Jack might be able to take credit for introducing Danny and Christine at Jabot, but they had their first date at her restaurant. She told them how happy she was for both of them, and told Christine how much she loved having her as a sister-in-law again. Gina got her shots in to Phyllis, but gave a toast to the newlyweds.

Nina went next, and gave them credit for the things they taught when they lived together. She didn’t know where she would have been today if not for them. Nina said that like Gina, she knew right away that the two of them were meant to be together.

Michael encouraged everyone to watch Danny’s ‘80s video of the cover for “Against All Odds,” starring Lauren. He said he was the only rock star he would trust to be around his wife because he knew that he only had eyes for Christine. He cracked some jokes about giving him a kidney, and Lauren chimed in about how their friendship grew and toasted the newlyweds.

Daniel was up next, speaking on behalf of Lucy, as well, noting she was home sick and devastated she couldn’t be there. Daniel talked about how he got to see a different side of his dad when he went on tour as his photographer, and he saw how he handled fame and pressure. Daniel thanked him for teaching him how to be a dad, and wanted only the best for him. Daniel said Christine was his perfectly happy ever after.

Behind everyone, Cane and Phyllis walked in and heard the toast. After everyone toasted, “Forever” and clinked glassed, Phyllis announced she wanted to make a toast as well. Everyone groaned and Cane watched uncomfortably as Phyllis grabbed a champagne glass and entered the room. Michael tried to stop her but she said she wasn’t going to do anything weird and asked Danny to confirm that they’d moved on.

Christine told Michael she was deliriously happy and to let Phyllis go ahead. Phyllis said that she just heard her son say that he’d never seen his dad so happy. Her voice cracked as she agreed. She said that she was just talking ot someone about moving on after a relaitonsihp, and noted that there was someone in the room who fell into that category: Danny…and Cricket. “You never moved on. You never, ever gave up on your love,” she said. Phyllis toasted them with admiration and enduring love, and noted that Danny’s grin and her tenacity was something to cheers to. Phyllis raised her glass but no one raised theirs. Phyllis left, but Christine noted she was fairly decent.

Amy asked for the music to start and kicked off the dancing, with Esther and everyone else quickly joining in on getting the party started.

Upstairs, Cane was miffed that Phyllis did the toast and said she can’t say she was over Danny and Christine getting married then acted the way she did. He told her to prove it that she was over it. Phyllis grabbed him and kissed him.

Phyllis suggested that they strip down…and shed each piece of clothing for each piece of baggage they’ve been carrying along. Cane seemed amused and played along, and before long they were stripped down and kissing.

Downstairs, Daniel went back to fretting about performing but Tessa told him she was confident in his talent. She reminded him why he started playing guitar. She advised that music tapped into feelings and he should tap into it.

Before he backed out again, Daniel asked everyone to gather round, grabbed his guitar and played while Tessa sang. Christine welled up hearing the words, and Danny took her in his arms and they danced.

Afterwards, Danny told the group that they were getting changed and heading to Paris, He asked if he could borrow some of Daniel and Tessa’s lyrics and called their family and friends little flames that never burn out.

Danny and Christine went upstairs and made love while the guests reminisced and enjoyed champagne and donuts. Amy, Tracy, and Gina talked about performing together with Danny back in the day. Gina wondered if they still “got it” and they all hit a note together and then laughed.

Michael told Nina that he was able to spend a lot of time with Chance in Nice. Lauren and Diane added how great of a man he was, and how much he loved sharing photos of Dominic. Nina appreciated the stories, and said it helped keep him alive.

On the dance floor, Devon said to Abby that they were the old married couple now, but she said she still felt like a newlywed. Daniel thanked Tessa for getting him out of his head earlier. He noted they were good for each other. “You think?” she asked.

When Danny and Christine came out of their room, they bumped into Cane and Phyllis, who told them bon voyage. After the newlyweds walked away, Cane asked if it was for the bride and grooms benefit or for his. Phyllis said she meant every word she’d said.

Danny and Christine came downstairs to cheers and rose petals being thrown as their guests saw them out the door on their way to their honeymoon.

After the bride and groom left, Tessa and Daniel were the last there with Michael and Lauren. Michael quipped that the secret to a happy marriage is his wife is always correct.

Michael told Daniel and Tessa the song was amazing and they make a great duo.

After Michael and Lauren left, Tessa said it had been a romantic day, and couldn’t think of a single thing that could make it more perfect. “I can,” Daniel said then came over and kissed her.

Behind them, Phyllis came downstairs and saw them kissing, and stopped in her tracks.
