At the GCAC, Billy and Sally were leaving as Phyllis and Cane came walking through. Billy tried his best to find out why they were together, but they happily ignored him. Phyllis got in some return jabs to Billy, but he kept asking if they were on a date.

Billy wondered if they were working together, but Cane asked him why he cared. Billy took a shot at Cane, so Phyllis spent several minutes telling him how much more successful Cane was than Billy.

Phyllis told Billy that she trusted him, but he screwed her over too many times. She said it always came down to a lack of respect for her and a lack of accountability for him. Billy claimed he was just looking out for her.

Phyllis snapped that he’d see soon enough, adding that Billy never finished his projects. Billy wondered what she and Cane were working on. “You’ll find out soon enough and I cannot wait to watch you crumble,” Phyllis snapped before walking out.

“You did provoke her,” Cane pointed out before following Phyllis out the door. “Have fun with that,” Billy said grimly. Once alone, Sally wanted to know what Billy’s problem was.

Sally reminded Billy that he’d asked her to go downstairs earlier so that he could tell Phyllis that he wasn’t going to use her against Victor. She could tell that something obviously changed, and wanted to know what.

Billy said Cane created the program, and Phyllis stole it from him and gave it to Victor. He said it infuriated him, but Sally said he had that fire in his eyes that scared her. Billy admitted that he’d heard Cane and Phyllis talking about going after Victor.

Sally wondered if Billy was jealous that it was Phyllis and Cane taking down Victor, and he wasn’t part of it. Billy told Sally to forget the revenge; what they were building was bigger than that — and not just the business, but the personal, too.

At the main house, Matt was sarcastically asking Jack to take him home when Victor told him to be silent. Adam told Matt, “I would do what my father says.” “Yeah, well, that kinda tracks,” Matt quipped. Victor was interrupted by a phone alert and suddenly said he had to make a phone call.

While he was gone, Jack and Nikki had no idea what was so important that Victor would leave at that moment. Meanwhile, Matt tried to ask Kyle to swing a side deal.

Nikki took her turn telling off Matt, but he was unfazed. He asked if her plan was to bore him to death. Matt and Jack got into it, especially when he commented on how good-looking Diane was.

Matt adamantly denied being worried when Nikki told him he sounded scared. “What is it going ot take for you to shut up?” Adam asked. “A snack,” Matt pouted. He said he’d been in a car accident, and he was a little tired. They had security put Matt back in the car.

Jack asked Adam to stop Victor from attacking Jabot. When Kyle got involved in the pleading, Adam snapped at him, saying that he already destroyed his company.

The two sons argued about their fathers and how both of them seemed intent on trying to live up to them. Kyle told Nikki and Adam that his father had done so much for them over the years, and wondered why neither would go against Victor for Jack.

Nikki snapped at Kyle not to presume how she felt. Jack told them both the reality of his dire situation and said that if his father’s company went under, it was on Victor’s head.

Victor returned and told Jack that Matt was his to deal with, as he had more important things to deal with. He dismissed Jack and Kyle and went back to his phone. Jack balked, but Victor said he’d get back to him with his decision when he was good and ready.

After Jack and Kyle left, Victor told his security to follow them and not lose sight of Matt. Victor assured her that Nick was okay, but Nikki insisted that Victor tell her what could possibly be more important than dealing with Matt.

Victoria came in, and Victor asked her to sit down with Adam and Nikki. He told them that they were under attack and that the AI program was toppling Newman Enterprises.

At Crimson Lights, Phyllis told Cane that she was happy with herself for telling Billy what she thought of him. She told Cane to flip the switch. Cane warned her that they were about to have a lot of enemies and wanted to ensure she was ready.

Phyllis told Cane that she was all in but wanted to know if he was. Phyllis said she knew him and knew he was holding out hope for his kids to change their minds, but he’d have to go back to being like Aristotle to pull this off.

Phyllis watched Cane’s expression as she reminded him that any hope he had about getting Lily back was dead and buried. Cane said he couldn’t lose his family; they were gone. He said he wasn’t worried about the fallout from others and said it would pass.

Phyllis kept asking in several ways if he was ready to go, ready to rock ‘n roll, ready to take on Victor, ready to— “Phyllis,” Cane interrupted, “It’s done.”

Cane told Phyllis that the attack had been launched, explaining that he made the call back at the club when she was going after Billy. Phyllis confirmed that Newman Enterprises was being dismantled as they spoke, and was turned on.

Phyllis began kissing Cane. He didn’t pull away but smiled when she said it was a little public. “Let’s go to the train…all aboard,” Phyllis laughed as they ran out of the coffee shop together.

When they got to the train, Phyllis told Cane that it was the best night ever as they kissed and stripped their way to the bed. Phyllis told Cane they were unstoppable, and Cane told her that she was a queen.

After celebrating in bed, Phyllis asked Cane how it works and when they take over. Cane said there was plenty of time to figure it out, but Phyllis would get her heart’s desire. Phyllis noted that Cane did it, and he didn’t have to cut her in.

Phyllis wondered why Cane waited, but Cane repeated how he thought he’d win his kids back by letting Arabesque go. Cane told Phyllis that the past was the past, the future was beyond his control, but the present was what he was focused on.

Phyllis asked again if Cane was sure about everything and if he was doing it for the right reasons. Cane said that it was happening because Phyllis made it make sense. He likened her to his father, who used to be the genius in his life.

Phyllis told Cane that she’d waited for a really long time to finally win against the people who shamed her and ridiculed her for a really long time. “I’m going to win, it’s happening now,” Phyllis told him as they kissed.

When Kyle and Jack got home, they noted that Victor was rattled after the text that he’d gotten. Jack called his tech leader and confirmed there had been no attacks on Jabot.

Jack assured Kyle that, despite his morning deadline to Victor, he wouldn’t release Matt if they didn’t get an answer.

Billy and Sally went home; while Sally was out of the room, Billy called Jack and told him that Phyllis and Cane were working together against Newman Enterprises. They assumed Phyllis either stole the AI program back or Cane had a copy all along.

Jack told Billy that Victor got a text that truly rattled him when they were over there. Sally overheard Billy say that he wished he could break into the ranch just to watch the fireworks, and that he wished it he was the one who was bringing Victor down.
