The Young and the Restless Recap February 13: Kyle kisses Audra, Billy walks out on Sally

TL;DR: In today’s Young and the Restless recap, Billy and Sally’s Valentine’s Day takes a shocking turn into a War of the Roses over his power moves. Also, Kyle and Audra’s hostilities lead to a kiss, and Noah follows his heart to Los Angeles for Sienna.

The Young and the Restless Recap

Diane found a card and gifts from Jack for Valentine’s Day waiting for her in the dining room. She appreciated it but was still upset about Nikki.

Jack convinced Diane to shelve it for the next day so he could celebrate her. Diane happily agreed.

Chelsea Has Dinner With The Luckiest Man In The World

At the GCAC, Chelsea met Adam at the bar and he brought her all up to date about Phyllis, Cane, and Billy. Adam said she needed to accept that Billy was just as ruthless as Cane and Phyllis.

Chelsea was outraged that they hurt Victor and vowed payback to them. Adam was sure Victor had a plan, and Chelsea wanted in.

Adam and Chelsea got a table and had dinner. They talked about Connor and how he was doing. They agreed they worried about him dating as he was getting older, and how he would handle rejection.

Adam gave Chelsea a Valentine’s Day card, and he wrote a message in it about who she was, and who she was to him. He signed it, “Love, the luckiest man in the world.”

Chelsea told Adam that she didn’t take what they had for granted, and he said he didn’t either.

A Night Of Wine And Flowers…

Sally came home to find Billy making her dinner with champagne and wanting to celebrate Valentine’s Day together, and celebrate them. Sally asked if she was just supposed to put it aside that he bailed on Abbott Communications.

Billy said he didn’t want to forget about it, he wanted to address it but this night was for celebrating their love.

Billy told Sally he wanted to spend a life together, come home and talk about their day, and wind up in bed together. Sally said it sounded okay.

As Billy visualized it in a positive way, Sally said he was angry and vengeful. Billy smiled that he was talking about healthy competition.

Sally was shocked when Billy told her that Chancellor was his, and that Newman Media had been folded into Abbott Communications to make that company even stronger. 

“Newman Media is mine?” Sally repeated. “Happy Valentine’s Day,” Billy told her.

…Turned Into The War of the Roses

To answer her questions, Billy admitted there had been some negotiating, backstabbing, and fast-acting changes of plans. He said that Phyllis actually took the actions, but he went along with it.

Sally freaked out that Billy did to Victor and Cane what Victor and Jill did to Billy. She said now, instead of one enemy, he had two. She didn’t want to become collateral damage.

Sally said she couldn’t pretend that what he did and how he did it was okay. She said he screwed people over to get what he told himself he deserved.

Billy wondered what she was so afraid of and why ambition was such a bad thing. “I’ve been pushed to the limit with everyone doubting me and judging me. And because why, I want it all?” Billy bellowed.

“Last time I checked, so did you, Sally!” Billy added. He said that he loved her and supported her, but as the woman who supposedly loves him, she refuses to support him in the same way.

Billy asked again what she was afraid of, and said she refused to see anything from his perspective, and he couldn’t live like that anymore. “I can’t do this,” Billy snapped as he walked away.

Noah Goes To Los Angeles

In Los Angeles, Sienna met with Noah at the hotel cafe. He told her that his mom had told him to follow his heart and come talk to her.

Sienna said she specifically told him not to follow her to L.A. and couldn’t believe he did anyway. Noah told Sienna that all he remembered from her letter was her saying that she loved him.

Sienna told Noah that she thought she just needed her life back, but she didn’t feel like she belonged in L.A. But she also felt like she didn’t belong in Genoa City.

Noah tried to explain that home was where the heart was. He asked her to return to Genoa City and start a new life there.

Sienna said she’d give Noah an answer if he danced with her. They stood in the cafe and danced, as people watched. “What do you say…will you come with me?” Noah asked.

That’s What She Said

At Society, Audra joined Kyle at the bar, against his wishes. She pointed out he was sitting alone on Valentine’s Day and ordered a drink on his bill.

Audra dropped the bomb on Kyle that Claire and Holden went to L.A. together. “Must be their happy place,” she shrugged.

Kyle calmly told Audra that she should be worried, not him, because Claire is intent on digging up dirt on her past when she was in Los Angeles.

Kyle stood to put his hands on his hips as he smugly told Audra that she had no friends and he delighted in watching Victor take her down.

Audra said he was obsessed with her because he knew he could never have her. Kyle leaned in and kissed Audra passionately, and she reciprocated.

When they finally unlocked lips, Kyle told Audra, “You’re the one who will never have me, as much as deep down you wish you could.” 

Kyle handed the bartender money and said, “The lady will pay for her own drink.” Audra smiled and said “Hmm…” inquisitively as she watched Kyle walk away.
