At Crimson Lights, Cane was delighted that Lily said yes to going to the Abbott Communications launch together, but agreed to meet her in the GCAC foyer instead of driving together. Cane thanked her in advance for giving them the chance to do something they hadn’t in a long time: have fun together.

Cane promised Lily he would have no expectations, other than to put a smile on her face. “See you soon!” he called out as she left. “See you soon? Why would you see Lily soon?” Phyllis asked as she came in through the patio doors. Cane told her that what he saw or what he did was none of her business.

Phyllis noted that Lily had been throwing so much vitriol at them, it was weird that he’d be laughing it up with Lily. Cane snapped that Phyllis pretty much confirmed she stole his app and used it against him. He said she continued to lie to him, and that was why they had nothing to say to one another.

Phyllis offered to tell him the truth, but Cane said he wouldn’t believe anything she said anyway. Phyllis got mad at him for being suspicious of her and walked out.

Cane and Phyllis had a loud fight on the patio, resulting in Phyllis admitting that she stole the AI program and used it as a bargaining chip to get what she wanted. She called him out for promising her forgiveness and a collaboration but lying. Phyllis said she was using Cane, too. She also promised that she was his enemy now, like he was hers.

Cane said he wasn’t worried, as all Phyllis knew to do was steal from others, and she would always be riding someone else’s coattails. Phyllis yelled that she had nothing to lose now. She said Cane slept with her, and he was lying. He said he slept with her knowing she’d stolen the app. Phyllis went to slap him, but he grabbed her arm — then grabbed her and pulled her in for a passionate kiss instead.

At the GCAC bar, Audra had a flashback to years ago when Holden was a bartender at the Shadow room, and she’d come in as he told Sienna to go home and he’d close up. Alone, Holden noted he was surprised to see Audra since she’d fled the country after stealing that guy’s wallet.

Audra explained that the guy called the police, and her friend at the airport tipped her off that her name had been added to a no-fly list. Audra wanted Holden to hook her up with someone who could get her a new name, license, and passport so she could get out of L.A. before she was caught stealing the half-million dollars.

Audra paused her flashbacks to call Sally and let her know she wouldn’t be going to the party, but wished her every success. She went back to recalling how Audra told Holden she didn’t want him in trouble and appreciated how he’d looked out for her.

Holden had thought that going to London was a good idea for Audra, but he didn’t know how he could help. He warned her that the creep had told him that what he did to her last time was nothing compared to what he’d do when he saw her again. Audra said after what he’d pulled, he was lucky she had just taken his money and didn’t kill him. “I’d like to see you try,” the man said as he walked up behind her. The man told Audra if she wanted to keep her pretty face, she’d give him her money.

Audra snapped out of her flashbacks as Lily said hello and then snidely mocked her existence on earth. Audra said she didn’t care what her opinion was, but Lily said someone needed to say it, and she was going to. From how she was dressed to being unemployed to having one friend, Lily was endless with her insults. Audra asked what was with the women in Genoa City. “Why do you all feel the need to kick other women when they’re down?” she asked. Lily laughed in her face and then went after her about Kyle.

Audra told her she had no idea what really went down, but reminded Lily that she watched Cane rip her heart to shreds in Nice. “Did I pour salt in that wound? No, I didn’t,” Audra said. Lily said that what happened between her and Cane was none of Audra’s business.

Lily then went back to telling Audra her opinion about everything that was Audra’s business. Lily told her she should leave town because no one liked her. Audra added that Lily had no idea who Audra was. Said Lily was lucky to have a family that rallied every time someone scraped a knee, but she had never had that. As Audra asked Lily to leave her alone, Nate asked if there was a problem.

Audra told Nate she’d just been sitting there, and Lily attacked her and told her to leave town for everyone’s sake. Lily laughed at her until she left. Audra said she was sick of their treatment, but warned Lily she would regret crossing her.

Audra ran to the park and cried as she thought out loud about how she and Nate were there not that long ago in a much better place. She said she wasn’t going to give them the satisfaction of her tears, then had more flashbacks to being at the Shadow Room and the man yelling at her to give his money back. He screamed that he’d beat it out of her, but Holden intervened and fought with the man instead, knocking him out against the bar, and falling to the ground.

Audra rushed to Holden’s arms and thanked him for saving her, but reiterated she needed to get out of town. Suddenly, they realized there was blood coming from the unconscious man’s head.

Back at the GCAC bar, Nate asked Lily to let it go and said he could take care of himself when he saw Audra. Nate said they could go to the party together, but Lily was vague when saying she’d agreed to go with someone. Nate hoped she wasn’t going with Cane.

At Sharon’s, Noah couldn’t believe that Sienna wanted to leave the safety of the ranch. He told her if he thought she was leaving Genoa City, she was crazy. Behind him, Sharon gave her a knowing look.

Sienna insisted that if Matt were coming to Genoa City, she would be safer somewhere else. Noah tried to convince her that the ranch was the only place she was safe. Sienna said that Mitch would need protection from her if they came face to face, as Sharon nodded in the background.

Sienna told Noah it wasn’t his job to protect her, and she was trying to spare him from danger. Noah told Sienna he would do or say anything to get her to stay and wondered if Claire had something to do with her change of mind. He asked Sharon if it was she who talked Sienna into leaving.

Sienna insisted she was doing what she thought was best for herself. Sharon and Nick stepped outside to give them some privacy. On the porch, Sharon admitted she may have said something that made Sienna want to leave. Sharon and Nick agreed that Sienna would be at risk if she didn’t have protection, and also thought she would entice Matt to come to town.

Inside, Noah told Sienna he’d fallen in love with her. Sienna felt the same, but she was married to a psychopath who wanted Noah dead. Noah relented that if Sienna really wanted to go, he wouldn’t stop her, but he wouldn’t leave her because they were in it together.

Sharon and Nick came back inside, and Noah announced that Sienna had agreed to stay a few more days until they decided their next moves.

Outside the GCAC entrance, Matt Clark looked around. “I forgot how much I hate this place,” he said.
