The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Dec 2: Katie feels replaced

In the Bold and the Beautiful recap for the episode airing Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, Finn and Steffy put Dylan at peace, and Katie is taken aback at Brooke’s involvement in stifling her career.

 At Spencer Publications, Bill brought Liam up to speed on an acquisition and how Katie’s advice was going to really pay off. Liam and Bill agreed that Katie was brilliant and would be a huge asset if she worked with them instead of Forrester, even though they knew she loved fashion. 

 

Bill talked about how Katie was a fantastic mother as well and lamented again that he’d failed her in marriage, but he wanted to change all that. Bill noted that at one point, Katie was CEO of Forrester, and the company would be more successful today if she were still at the helm. But he noted what he really wanted was for Will and Katie to leave Forrester and work with them at Spencer instead. 

 

Liam found it amusing to hear his dad on the phone, as he changed his tone with people to be more patient and understanding. Bill told Liam that he realized the journey to self-improvement was never-ending. However, he glowered when he went back to talking about Forrester. Bill tuned out what Liam was saying after that and suddenly jumped up to walk out. He said he was going to Forrester to check on Katie.

 

Katie came to the CEO’s office at Forrester and found Brooke and Ridge canoodling. Ridge thought she should be home comforting Will, but she said that he was doing what he needed, and she was there when needed. Katie wanted to pitch ideas to Ridge and Steffy. Ridge said Steffy wasn’t there, but she could pitch it to him and Brooke instead. “I’d like to hear what my little sister has to say,” Brooke said. Katie seemed slightly disappointed but agreed to do the pitch.

 

Katie delivered her pitch, but Brooke and Ridge stammered through their reactions to her ideas for handling the Luna scandal. Ridge told her that the other company already implemented what she was proposing. Katie didn’t see why that mattered, but they said that the new PR people were really on top of it.

 

Katie told them that she was there and ready to get to work. Brooke hesitated, saying that they appreciated the effort Katie had put into her pitch. “It’s no effort, it’s my job,” Katie replied. Ridge told her that the PR company was doing a good job and he didn’t see the need to change anything.

 

Katie confidently stated that she knew Forrester, that she spearheaded all the company campaigns, and that she even ran the place at one point. Brooke told Katie that she and Ridge believed the PR firm was the way to go. “I’m sorry, ‘Ridge and I’?? Are you the co-CEO now? Has Steffy been pushed aside?” Katie asked her sister. Brooke said she wasn’t, but Katie noted she wasn’t hearing any support from her. Ridge said it was just business and nothing personal, but Katie looked at Brooke like she saw it differently.

 

At the cliff house, Dylan continued to gush about her guilt about killing Luna as Will and Electra filled in the blanks to Finn and Steffy. Dylan begged Finn’s forgiveness for the accident. Finn said he had conflicting feelings about his daughter. He didn’t wish that she were dead, but she had many chances to change and did not. 

 

“But one thing I know, Dylan, you are a wonderful person,” Finn said. He told Dylan that he and Steffy both believed that it was an accident and knew she’d never hurt anyone. Dylan was very grateful for their grace and forgiveness. They rehashed who Luna was and what she did, and told Dylan not to carry the weight of guilt and what could have been any longer.

 

Later, Will and Electra went back to the beach house. Electra just wanted to help Dylan any way she could, but Will said she’d reach out if she needed her. They looked forward to everything being behind all of them. Will said they should make a pact never to speak of Luna Nozawa ever again and focus on their bright future.

 

At the cliff house, Finn felt the same way. He told Steffy they needed to move on from everything that had happened and put it behind them. Finn said he was fine and wanted to go back to being in love and happy. 

 

After they met with Katie, Brooke told Ridge she hoped her sister wasn’t too upset. Ridge thought she’d be over it, but across the hall, Katie was fuming in the design office. Bill came in, lamenting that Charlie tried to harass him about his security. 

 

Katie told Bill about her meeting. She said that she could understand them hiring a PR firm at the time, but she was back and didn’t understand why Brooke overruled her ideas. She knew she shouldn’t have been surprised, as it had always been ‘Brooke and Ridge.’

 

Bill told her that she was underappreciated. He told her to give Forrester the boot and to come with him to her family company: Spencer Publications.
