At Taylor’s office, Steffy couldn’t believe what she witnessed and asked Taylor if she was getting involved with him. Taylor claimed Deacon was just a patient.

Steffy said that she heard Taylor say that Deacon was a patient any woman would be lucky to be involved with. “Sheila’s husband!” Steffy admonished.

Steffy lectured her mom about the danger she was creating but being involved with Deacon. Taylor knew all the reasons she shouldn’t be attracted to him, but admitted she thought he was a remarkable man.

Taylor heard herself go on and on about all of Deacon’s great qualities. She said she hadn’t fallen for him but he had changed.

“We talk. He’s more than just a patient, he listens to me,” Taylor said. When she said that they understood each other, Steffy told her to stop it.

Steffy said that it was wrong on so many levels — not just because Deacon was a patient, but his wife was extremely dangerous. Taylor suggested that Sheila might have changed.

Steffy told Taylor that she was really worried about her. “This isn’t you. Going after a married man…Sheila’s husband. Really? Come on,” Steffy pleaded.

Taylor agreed that Steffy was right but swore she and Deacon hadn’t crossed the line. Steffy knew they had emotionally and said that if Sheila found out, Taylor would be her next victim.

“I know ever since Dad went back to Brooke it’s been extremely hard,” Steffy told her. She said she deserved love, but from anyone but Deacon. “You’re right,” Taylor nodded before hugging her.

At Il Giardino, Deacon was distracted, and Deke noticed. After some prodding, Deacon admitted he had Taylor on his mind.

Deke was happy to hear Deacon ramble about how great Taylor was and how things felt right when he was with her.

Deke informed Deacon that his restaurant’s success was because of him, not Sheila. Deacon seemed surprised to know that most of the employees didn’t like her, and that the customers tried to avoid her.

Deacon told Deke to think about how great it would be to come home to someone like Taylor every day. He reminded him of how Sheila lied about Luna and what she had done.

Deke pointed out how Sheila chose Luna, who killed his friends right there in that restaurant and wondered if he wanted to be around the next time she went off the rails. 

Deacon noted how Taylor was extraordinary, but Deacon said she was his therapist and that was all. “For now,” Deke told him.

Brooke came to the CEO’s office looking for Carter, and Ridge told her that he was chasing down Daphne. He explained that Steffy found out Daphne was leaving and told Carter.

Brooke asked if that was the only gossip that Steffy had. She wondered if there was any news yet on Taylor finding a new man. Brooke said she just wanted Taylor to be as happy as they were.

In the salon, Carter asked Daphne not to walk away from their relationship and return to Paris. “Don’t leave,” he begged. 

Daphne told Carter that she didn’t want to hurt him, but it was for the best. She said that she enjoyed their time together, but her home was in Paris.

Carter implored Daphne to consider having a life in Los Angeles with him. He said he needed her strength, and he was infatuated with her since her scent first captivated him.

Daphne said she’d always be just a phone call away. Carter told Daphne she was right about everything she said about him and Hope and how they could be so much better together.
