The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Jan 23: Deacon Defies Steffy, Electra Warns Dylan
In the Bold and the Beautiful recap for Friday, January 23, 2026, Electra told Dylan to keep her distance, Steffy overheard Hope and Taylor, Deacon didn’t want to back down.

Sheila spots Deacon and Finn on The Bold and the Beautiful | Photo: CBSTaylor continued to tell Hope that she couldn’t have a personal relationship with Deacon, but she pressed on. Steffy came downstairs to go to work, and overheard.
Katie came to the beach house to visit Will and get caught up on their lives. He told her about Dylan living above the garage and why.
Finn came to Il Giardino to pick up food and was relieved when Deacon told him that Sheila wasn’t there. Finn asked how Deacon could stand being around his wife.
Deacon had to go see Taylor, which Finn also questioned, but right after he left, Sheila appeared.
Sheila sat with Finn and questioned what he and Deacon had talked about, wanting to talk about her marital problems.
In the design office, Electra got quite uptight about Dylan having dinner alone with her boyfriend. She told her it could never happen again and to stop doing her laundry.
Dylan apologized, alarmed that she’d upset her somehow when she was just trying to repay her for her kindness.
Electra told Dylan to find a job and get on with her life, but backed down with her tone when Dylan assured her she was trying.
Dylan said she’d hoped to have heard from Forrester Creations but Electra said it wasn’t going to work out there, as there wouldn’t be an opening for a while.
Electra told Dylan that she and Ivy were headed to San Francisco for a few days for a business trip. She told Electra she was to stay in the guest apartment while she was gone.
Dylan understood and said she had nothing to worry about. She promised she had nothing to worry about.
At the cliff house, Deacon came to see Taylor. They compared notes when their daughters visited. Deacon knew how Hope felt and agreed with her.
Deacon told Taylor how Steffy told him to keep his distance from her. He knew she was just worried about her mom because of Sheila.
Taylor and Deacon said that they were both worried about Sheila, but Deacon didn’t want to heed their warnings.
Deacon suggested that Taylor stop billing him, and they could go on a date. He told her how beautiful she was and how much he liked her.
At the CEO’s office, Steffy summoned Hope to blast her for encouraging Taylor to be with Deacon.
Hope stood by her opinion, but Steffy said Taylor and Deacon’s “weird attraction” had to end before Sheila got wind of it.
Hope told Steffy she could see Steffy’s point, but still thought that Taylor and Deacon deserved real love. Steffy said Deacon could find anyone else but her mom.
