The Bold and the Beautiful Recap February 20: Brooke and Katie Explode, Electra Gives Will Another Ultimatum

TL;DR: In today’s Bold and the Beautiful recap, Brooke and Katie have a huge confrontation over Eric’s health and job, leading Brooke to fire him from Katie’s company. Meanwhile, Electra delivers a final ultimatum to Will about Dylan.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap

At the beach house, Dylan told Will she felt bad for what happened with Electra. Will couldn’t believe Ivy’s audacity to reframe what she saw into something sordid. He said she had no right to tell her to leave his house or leave L.A. Dylan went for a walk but watched Will from outside of the window.

Electra’s Devastated About Will

At Forrester, Ivy didn’t think Will could blame her for being upset, but she refused to call him. Ivy doubled down on what she said she saw, calling Will letting Dylan stay after their fight appalling.

Electra said she couldn’t stay after she made Will choose, and he picked Dylan’s damsel in distress mode over hers. She said she shouldn’t have made him choose, but Ivy said it was the right thing to do.

Electra was in the salon when Will came in and told her how much he missed her. She told him she felt the same way. Will pleaded with Electra not to listen to Ivy and pointed out how great they were before she made up her stories.

Electra was taken aback and asked if Dylan was still living at his house. Ivy eavesdropped as Electra listed off the things that Ivy said Dylan did.

Will wanted to talk about them, but Electra was focused solely on Dylan. She gave him the same ultimatum again.

Brooke Blames Katie

At Forrester mansion, Eric told Ridge that he wasn’t incompetent. He told the medics that he was just upset about his family, and he was fine. He just wanted to go upstairs, but Brooke and Ridge blocked him and insisted that he go to the hospital.

Eric snapped that he knew what he needed, so Ridge and the medics walked with him upstairs, and Brooke turned on Katie before they’d even left the room.

“What were you thinking?! Look what you’ve done!” Brooke barked. Donna intervened, but Brooke said she wasn’t going to allow Eric to keep working for Katie and Bill, as if he were their workhouse.

Brooke told Katie that Eric is suffering because of Katie’s ambition. She accused Katie of lying to her, but she said she did what Eric wanted and kept it secret. 

Brooke Wants To Resolve Things…Supposedly

Brooke felt that Katie owed her a conversation and some answers, so Bill and Donna reluctantly left them alone to work things out. The first thing Brooke said was, “Katie, how could you?”

Katie said it wasn’t a great start to a productive conversation. She told Brooke that she didn’t manipulate or lure Eric into working with her; it was his idea.

“You used him because you couldn’t do it on your own,” Brooke sneered. Katie reminded her she was not a designer; she was a CEO. She said she hired him and it was a good move, but Brooke accused her of just wanting to rub it in everyone’s faces that she stole him from Forrester.

“I couldn’t steal him from Forrester because he didn’t work at Forrester anymore. Ridge pushed hisfather out of his own company,” Katie reminded her.

Brooke told Katie it was her ego and insecurities at play. “You’re sick and tired of being in my shadow,” Brooke told her. Brooke added that she was tired of Katie playing the victim and sick of hearing about it. “So stop it. You stole the Logan name. You stole Eric from Ridge and me,” Brooke accused. She said that Katie didn’t care about Eric’s health at all. “What were you trying to do, kill him?” Brooke asked. She insisted that she and Ridge cared about Eric and then quit Eric’s new job for him. “After today, he is no longer your designer,” Brooke seethed.

Ridge Wants Eric Back At Forrester

Upstairs, Ridge dismissed the medics and scolded Eric for not wanting help. Eric staunchly said he was older but could stand on his own two feet about his health and everything else. 

Eric told him not to patronize him, but Ridge reiterated that he never meant to push Eric away. He apologized again, but asked what he was doing working for Bill. 

Ridge told Eric how much he missed and loved him and said he needed him to come home to Forrester. He asked what he needed to do to get Ridge to forgive him.
