In The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Wednesday, December 3, 2025, Bill is more convinced than ever that Katie belongs at Spencer, and Eric is just as sure he has a place at Forrester.

The Bold and the Beautiful Recap

In the design office, Bill ranted about how underappreciated Katie was at Forrester, and Katie agreed that was how she felt. Bill tried to convince her to work with him at Spencer instead.

In the CEO’s office, Brooke asked Ridge how the plans for Eric’s retirement party were coming along. He said it was going to be great, and then they wondered whether Eric was actually ready to retire. Eric and Donna walked in, and Brooke told them they were surprised as they didn’t expect Eric to walk in the door. He reminded them he didn’t need an invitation to come to the company he founded, and that his name was on the building.

They realized they could hear Bill’s voice, so Ridge called security to confirm Spencer was in the building. Donna said it was natural that, since Katie and Bill were back together, he would visit her at work. Ridge asked why Katie was in Bill’s life and didn’t care that they shared a child. “He’s a grown ass man with tattoos!” Ridge barked. Donna told him none of that was for them to decide.

Ridge decided he couldn’t stand it and marched into the design office to ask Bill why he was there. Bill told him he came to defend the woman he loved. He accused Ridge of undermining and disrespecting Katie.

Katie agreed that she felt blindsided by hiring the PR firm and disrespected when he wouldn’t listen to her ideas. Ridge responded with “we” in his explanations, so Bill questioned who the “we” actually was. Ridge told Bill it was none of his business how he ran his company and said he had to go. He told Katie he was sorry she felt the way she did , but wanted to work it out.

Across the hall, Brooke defended Ridge for not wanting Bill in the building. Eric sniffed that he knew how it felt to be unwelcome at the office. Brooke patronized him, saying, “Oh, Eric, that isn’t true. You know that.” She rattled off all the things she and Ridge were doing, noting that Ridge had just been too busy lately. Eric noted that he could have helped with all the projects she mentioned.

Ridge returned, miffed that Bill was trying to convince Katie that she wasn’t appreciated at Forrester. “What? That’s absurd!” Brooke laughed. Ridge agreed but said he didn’t have time to it as he had to work. Eric told Donna and Brooke he wanted a word with his son. “Can’t it wait…please!” Ridge asked, frustrated. Eric adamantly said it couldn’t.

Brooke and Donna went to the runway room and looked at designs. Brooke went on about how hard Ridge was working. She said that she and Steffy were helping with the day-to-day, but the creative designing was all on Ridge, noting that Zende was working on Hope for the Future. Donna suggested that Eric could help with designing.

Brooke balked at the idea and said that Ridge had it covered. Brooke scoffed at Eric designing the couture line, but Donna told her that he was always creating at home and wanted to be part of the team. She said being a designer was who he was and hoped that Ridge listened to Eric.

Once alone, Eric asked if Ridge was too busy to talk to the company’s founder; Ridge simmered down. Eric told Ridge he didn’t like feeling like a guest in his own building. Eric tried telling him something, but Ridge kept getting interrupted by phone calls and texts. Eric told him that he saw Ridge’s designs and knew how hard it was to create when pulled in many directions.

Eric said Ridge didn’t have to do it all alone. Ridge told Eric that he left the company in capable hands and they had it handled. Eric said he taught him everything he knew, including the importance of collaboration. Eric reminded his son about the years they worked together, and that Ridge knew how the fire inside never went out. “Let me back in, Ridge,” Eric asked. He suggested they work on the line together. “Ridge and Eric Forrester. You and me,” Eric said proudly.

Katie went with Bill to Spencer Publications as he continued to rant about her treatment at Forrester. Katie told him she needed to think; Bill asked her what she wanted to do. He said he wasn’t just mad at Ridge; it was about the general way that Katie was treated. Katie appreciated what Bill said and thought of her, but didn’t need him to swoop in like a superhero.
