The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Dec 29: Liam and Carter compete for a name, Dylan’s secret revealed
In The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Monday, December 29th, 2025, Katie is shocked by Brooke’s lack of support, Dylan’s secret is discovered, and Carter and Liam race against time.

Brooke argued that she owned the company name Logan Designs under the umbrella of Forrester Creations and that Katie couldn’t use the name. Katie said no one had ever heard of it before, and she was known for Brooke’s Bedroom and Forrester.
Brooke adamantly told her sister that she was a nobody, and her name meant nothing in the fashion industry. She touted how she was famous around the world, and known for one name, Brooke Logan, and therefore, the Logan name was hers to use, and not Katie’s.
Katie couldn’t believe that after the years of being supportive of Brooke, she wouldn’t reciprocate. Bill pointed out that Logan Designs and Logan were two different names, and she could use it on that premise. Ridge threatened to take it to court. Brooke patronizingly tried to squash it until Ridge intervened. He snapped that they owned the name, and she couldn’t use it, end of story, then they left.
Liam came in, and Bill and a very heated Katie told him that their celebration with Ridge and Brooke went sideways. Katie griped about how Brooke accused her of sponging off her reputation. Bill and Liam thought Brooke felt threatened by Katie’s potential.
Liam looked into it and said that the trademark had expired a year prior. Bill told him to hurry up and register it while they could.
At the beach house, Will explained to Electra that he saw the state of Dylan’s car and assumed it was jammed with her stuff because she was homeless. Electra found it hard to believe, but Will was sure that what he saw meant Dylan was living in her car.
Electra worried about Dylan and how long she’d been homeless. Outside on the deck, Dylan used the shower. Will looked it up on his phone and read about how common vehicular homelessness was, and the shame that went with admitting to people they needed somewhere to live.
When Dylan turned off the water, she heard Electra and Will talking about her living out of her car. She came in and tried to cover for herself, but Electra and Will insisted on helping.
Back at the office, Ridge told Brooke she wasn’t the bad guy. When Carter came in, they told him that Katie wanted to name her new company Logan. “And she can’t. We have to stop her!” Brooke pleaded. Carter agreed it would be a trademark violation for Katie to use the name.
Carter went to his computer to check on the registration while Brooke and Ridge continued to diminish Katie’s “little start up” and how Brooke was a superstar in the industry. Carter realized that the trademark had expired as well. Brooke and Ridge anxiously waited for him to renew it and asked if the name was still theirs to not really use.
