Meet the Soap Stars Singing CBS Daytime’s ‘Anytime Delight’ Promo
CBS Daytime’s new “Anytime Delight” campaign has been stuck in viewers’ heads ever since it debuted, reimagining the classic hit “Afternoon Delight” to remind fans that they can stream their favorite soaps whenever and wherever they want.
But while the tune may be familiar, some fans may not have realized that the voices behind the campaign belong to three stars from CBS Daytime’s current soap lineup: Beyond the Gates’ Karla Mosley (Dani Dupree), The Young and the Restless‘ Nathan Owens (Holden Novak), and The Bold and the Beautiful’s Murielle Hilaire (Daphne Rose).
The trio represents all three CBS daytime dramas, creating a rare crossover of talent that extends beyond the fictional worlds of Fairmont Crest, Genoa City, and Los Angeles. And as it turns out, each actor brought genuine musical credentials to the recording booth.
Karla Mosley Has Already Showcased Her Musical Talents on Beyond the Gates

For Beyond the Gates viewers, Mosley’s involvement in the campaign likely comes as no surprise. Her character, Dani Dupree, has already demonstrated her musical abilities on-screen. During the show’s concert storyline, Dani performed as a backup singer and dancer for her mother, legendary performer Anita Dupree, played by Tamara Tunie.
Off-screen, Mosley has also put her vocal abilities on display. Last year, she joined fellow daytime stars for Daytime for St. Jude Night and performed with The Young and the Restless star Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea Lawson), giving fans another glimpse of her impressive singing voice.
“I always want to sing,” Mosley told The Soap Scene. “I was really excited that I was asked. It was fun! I did it all in a booth here, in Atlanta, which is amazing.” The track was later mixed with the vocals from Owens and Hilaire, creating a collaboration that has had viewers talking all week.
Nathan Owens May Be CBS Daytime’s Best-Kept Musical Secret

While many soap fans were already familiar with Mosley’s musical background, Nathan Owens’ participation may have been more of a surprise.
Since arriving in Genoa City as Holden Novak — the man who initially posed as Damian Kane — Owens has become a key player in several major storylines on The Young and the Restless, including the recent revelation that Holden is the son of Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore). However, the show has yet to tap into a talent that many viewers may not even know he possesses.
Away from the soap world, Owens is an accomplished musician with a smooth, soulful singing voice. In some ways, “Anytime Delight” offers Y&R fans their first opportunity to hear Owens showcase a talent that has yet to make its way to Genoa City — one that might leave Holden and Claire fans hoping he surprises her with a song someday.
Murielle Hilaire Has Already Brought Music to The Bold and the Beautiful

Unlike Owens, Hilaire’s musical talents have already become part of her character’s story on The Bold and the Beautiful. As Daphne Rose, she has performed at open mic nights at Il Giardino, giving viewers an opportunity to hear her sing as part of the storyline.
Additionally, her vocals were featured during the dramatic musical score surrounding Luna’s (Lisa Yamada) shocking death, helping elevate one of the soap’s most emotional moments.
Those performances only scratch the surface of Hilaire’s musical résumé. Outside of daytime television, she has built an extensive career as a singer and performer, making her a natural fit for CBS Daytime’s latest campaign.
Her combination of acting and musical experience helped make her an ideal choice to represent The Bold and the Beautiful alongside her fellow CBS soap stars.
A Daytime TV Supergroup Fans Didn’t Know They Needed

While the “Anytime Delight” campaign was designed to promote streaming access to CBS Daytime programming, it also served as an unexpected showcase for the musical talents of three of the network’s stars.
Rather than recruiting outside performers, CBS turned to actors who already had deep ties to its daytime lineup and impressive musical backgrounds of their own.
Together, Mosley, Owens, and Hilaire formed an unlikely soap opera supergroup, proving that the stars who bring drama to viewers every day are just as capable of delivering a memorable performance behind a microphone.
And for fans who haven’t been able to get “Anytime Delight” out of their heads, it’s clear CBS knew exactly who to call when it needed three daytime stars capable of carrying a tune.
