General Hospital’s Eva LaRue Shares Terrifying True Story

General Hospital’s Eva LaRue (Natalia Ramirez) was stalked for 12 long years, and now her story is being told on Paramount+. Today, the official trailer was released.

“My Nightmare Stalker: The Eva LaRue Story” premieres on Thursday, November 13th, exclusively on Paramount+. The two-part documentary tells the story of how actress Eva LaRue and her daughter Kaya endured being terrorized by a stalker for over a decade.

The stalker, who went by the name Freddie Krueger, was a mystery to the FBI. He would send letters to Eva and her daughter, detailing the horrific attacks he fantasized about doing to them, including sexual assault and murder. In the documentary, Eva and Kaya recall living in constant fear.

From 2007 to 2019, notes were sent, and then calls followed. In 2019, he called Kaya’s high school, identifying himself as her father and asking whether she was at the school.

People reported that in 2015, the stalker sent a letter addressed to Kaya, telling her that he was her mother’s stalker and was now watching her, too. Per the Department of Justice, the mother and daughter received 37 letters between 2007 and 2015. Some were handwritten, and others were typed. He would sign them as both “Freddie” and “Freddie Krueger.”

The outlet said that according to federal court records, a 58-year-old Ohio man named James David Rogers was eventually arrested. He pleaded guilty to two counts of mailing threatening communications, one count of threats by interstate communications, and two counts of stalking in 2022. After spending 40 months in prison, he was released in 2024.
