TL;DR: In the General Hospital weekly recap for August 3rd to 7th, 2026, Jason left Sonny, and Sonny later decided to walk away from the business too; Willow targeted Michael by reopening Drew’s shooting case, Curtis faced trial for assaulting Isaiah, Serena arrived in Port Charles, Ethan was attacked by Hudson, and Jacinda drugged Willow’s coffee.
General Hospital Weekly Recap August 3-7

Jason told Sonny that he was leaving his organization. He explained that Danny seeing him assault Dante and Rocco shooting a WSB agent had forced him to consider what his life was doing to his son. Jason said he could not continue killing for Sonny and needed to set a different example for Danny.
Jason told Sonny that he was grateful for everything Sonny had done for him and asked for his blessing. Sonny gave it to him and told Jason that nothing could change their relationship.
Jason later told Tracy that he had quit working for Sonny because he needed to make better choices for Danny. Tracy reminded him of what Alan and Monica had wanted for him and encouraged him to change.
Sonny told Dante that Jason’s decision had affected him. He said he was also walking away from the business and wanted to have a relationship with Dante without putting him at risk. Sonny said Sidwell’s downfall had created new opportunities for him.
Willow Targets Michael As Jacinda Takes Revenge

Willow told Nina and Liesl that she planned to ask the PCPD to reopen Drew’s shooting case and use it to go after Michael. She believed Anna’s return and Dante’s inability to protect his brother created an opportunity to reopen the investigation. Willow planned to argue that doing so would benefit federal funding.
Willow also told Jacinda that she was getting divorced, wanted full custody of the children, and wanted Jacinda out of their lives. Jack Brennan confronted Willow about her plan to involve Anna, but Willow said getting more time with her children was worth the risk.
Jacinda received a restraining order keeping her away from Willow’s children. She later met Ezra and retrieved pills she had left in his room. While visiting Nina, Jacinda saw two coffees after Willow left the room. She put the pills into the coffee marked for Willow.
Later, Jacinda told Michael that she had done something that would publicly hurt Willow and could help him. She did not tell him what she had done. Willow later drank the drugged coffee while preparing to leave with the children for an arcade.
Curtis Faces Trial As Drew Testifies For Him

Drew went to see Curtis before the trial and apologized for his treatment of him and his family. Drew said the six months when he couldn’t move or speak had given him time to think about his mistakes. He told Curtis that he planned to testify for him rather than help the prosecution.
Curtis’ trial began with Molly and Martin presenting their opening arguments. Martin attempted to place blame for the confrontation on Isaiah. Lucas and Joe testified before Portia took the stand. Portia described the assault and testified that Curtis had been the aggressor. She also discussed Curtis’ medical career and the effect of Isaiah’s injury. Martin questioned Portia about her relationship with Curtis and Isaiah.
Drew testified that Willow was home the night of the accident and that Joe had misunderstood his blinking response. Isaiah then testified about the assault and the damage to his hand. After Portia’s interrogation, he let his temper get the best of him while on the stand.
Jordan testified about Isaiah’s visit to her in the hospital and suggested he only did it out of guilt. Curtis then took the stand and explained why he believed Isaiah had been driving the car and was trying to push him out of his family. Molly and Martin delivered their closing arguments.
After the trial, Curtis told Portia that he planned to spend time with their son. He also told Stella that if he won, he intended to keep Isaiah away from his son. Isaiah worried that a Curtis victory would make things worse.
Serena Arrives In Port Charles

Lucy told Serena that Michael was spending the day at the Metro Court pool and instructed her to charm him as part of the plan to obtain Maxie’s shares. Lucy later admitted to Felicia that she had asked Serena to flirt with Michael to help finesse a way to get the shares.
Serena went to the pool and accidentally landed in Jack Brennan’s lap. She later approached Michael and told him she knew who he was and that she had come to Port Charles because Lucy was upset about Maxie’s shares. Serena also expressed interest in working at Deception, although Michael told her she would have to get past Tracy.
Lucy was pleased with Serena’s progress and told Laura that she wanted to surprise Kevin with Serena’s return. Laura explained that Kevin had also been invited to teach in the fall and that she might visit him and bring Ace with her.
Ethan Is Attacked By Hudson

Ethan was staying in Oslo under the name Mr. Davidson when Hudson Parker forced his way into his hotel room and demanded to know where Delilah was. Hudson attacked Ethan and accused him of causing Delilah to leave.
Ethan told Hudson that Delilah and the baby had died before he arrived. Hudson blamed Ethan and warned him that he would also hurt Ethan’s mother and sister if he was lying. Before leaving, Hudson planted a recording device in the room.
Ethan found his phone and called Ava. He asked her to promise that she would never tell anyone the truth about the baby. Ava agreed but wanted to know whether Ethan was in trouble. He ended the call without explaining.
Anna Warns Valentin About The WSB

Valentin celebrated having his assets unfrozen, but Anna warned him that the WSB would not have returned them without expecting something in exchange. Valentin said he had made a deal, while Anna believed the agreement would eventually cause problems.
Valentin also warned Nina that her relationship with Jack could cost her. Nina rejected his criticism of Jack and reminded Valentin why they were no longer together.
Anna remained concerned about Emma after Peter warned her that Britt could use Emma to get to her. Peter told Anna that she was the only person who could stop Britt.
On Friday, Anna welcomed Joe to the PCPD after questioning him about his partnership with Dante and Cassius. She told Joe that if Dante trusted him, that was good enough for her.
Drew And Ava Become Allies Against Sonny

Drew met with Ava after testifying for Curtis. He said he wanted to make amends and claimed he had changed. Ava told Drew that although they did not like each other, they had a common enemy in Sonny. The two agreed to become allies so they could act against Sonny before he acted against them.
Earlier in the week, Sonny confronted Ava about Ethan’s disappearance. Ava said Ethan had contacted her and told her only that he had left town. She questioned whether Sonny had sent Ethan to kill Drew, and Sonny warned her about coming after him.
Trina And Gio’s Contract Hits A Problem

Gio and Trina’s new contract ran into trouble after Simon learned that Trina was actually dating Kai rather than Gio. The marketing plan had been built around Gio and Trina appearing to be a couple. Knowing that his contract included a 90-day exit clause, Gio said he wanted to use it. Brook Lynn asked him and Trina to give Simon time to come up with another plan.
Ava gave Trina the option of becoming a partner at the gallery, but Trina declined because she had signed a singing contract. She planned to continue working at the gallery part-time while pursuing music.
Meanwhile, someone with a Trina collection on their wall was altering photographs of Trina and removing Kai from pictures.
Phoebe’s Adoption Becomes Official

Alexis finalized Phoebe’s private adoption with Brook Lynn and Chase. The father’s identity remained confidential and would not be released regardless of who raised Phoebe.
Gio questioned the secrecy surrounding the adoption and argued that Phoebe should know everyone involved in her birth rather than growing up with secrets.
Dante Continues To Worry About The Evidence

Dante remained concerned that Anna knew he had destroyed evidence connected to Cullum’s shooting. Elizabeth told him that she believed he had made the right decision. Meanwhile, Ric could see that Elizabeth and Dante were closer than he realized.
Josslyn Takes Over JJE

At Carly’s, Josslyn told Michael she was working for the WSB. Carly revealed that Josslyn had almost died during a recent incident. Despite that, Michael said he supported Josslyn if she was happy with her work.
Josslyn later learned from Hudson Parker that she had been named CEO of JJE because Jax had decided to take a long sailing vacation. Josslyn initially rejected the position. Hudson told her to provide a list of qualified people who could run the company instead.
Josslyn also confronted Jack about his relationship with Nina. She warned him that Nina’s history with Sonny made the relationship a liability. Jack told Josslyn that work came first before personal connections.
Anna revealed that she had known Josslyn was working for the WSB and had sent Jason to Five Poppies because of it. Carly was upset that Anna had known about Josslyn’s involvement before she did.
