Scene-sational General Hospital Quotes

Love Triangle or Potential Throuple Alert!
Ava (to Lucy about Jenz): “He loves art. He has the heart of a collector, which is something you wouldn’t understand since all you ever collected are husbands.”
Lucy: “I would much rather collect husbands than arrests. You have a rap sheet as long as my lovely arm.”
Ava: “Everyone makes mistakes, Lucy, and everyone is aware that I have paid my debt to society.”
Lucy: “Mm-hmm, only to fall right back into hock. (Gasps) You know what? I should count myself lucky right now that I’m not standing in front of an open window, ‘cause I bet you’re feeling like you would love to shove me right out that window exactly like you did to Kristina.”
Ava (to Lucy regarding Jenz): “You’re a real estate agent. He used you to get a good deal on Wyndemere and quickly found you and all your…Lucy-ness quite tedious.”
Jenz: (to Ava as they are leaving for dinner): “Just to let you know, we will be having some company.”
Ava: “Oh?”
Lucy: “Great news. The Metro Court has a table for three.
Jenz (Laughs): “That’s great! That is so great.”

Carly & Valentin (& Ross Cullum)
Carly: “Yeah, well, I’m just glad you managed to get upstairs before he [Brennan] was able to see you and I was able to [brief grimace] distract him.”
Valentin: “We both got lucky.”
Carly: (Gives Valentin the stink eye)
Valentin: “You rang?”
Carly: “Uh, yeah, I poured you a drink.”
Valentin: “Oh, cocktail hour? I like it.”
Carly: “You’re gonna want to sit down.”
Valentin: “Okay, but I like it a little bit less…”
Ross Cullum (to Carly): “Anyone can crack under the right conditions—a reminder we all need from time to time.”
The Davis Girls
Kristina: “Molly, I know you. You would have tinkered with that manuscript forever – changing a period to a semi-colon and back again and back again.”
Molly: “Which would have been my right. Because, yeah, punctuation matters.”
Kristina: “Okay, but Casey is a great character. Cody should be flattered, especially with those love scenes. Congratulations, by the way. You two have a lot of fun.
Molly: “Thank God, he did not read that far.”
Kristina: “Well, when he does, he can take notes.”
Marco & Britt Do Not Care for Each Other
Marco (to Jenz): “Britt Westbourne is a giant pain in the ass with the subtlety of a wrecking ball.”
Britt: “Marco, think! We are not making pizzas here. We’re developing a potential weapon…”
Literary Troubles & Genealogy Lessons at the Quartermaines
Tracy (to Cody): “…but, Jane Austen? Come on. Hemingway, maybe, but not a Regency romance. Did you join a book club? Are you reading this under duress?”
Danny: “…wasn’t Mikkos Valentin’s dad?”
Alexis: “No. And herein lies the difficulty in the construction of the Cassadine family tree, in that we have a propensity to lie. It’s in our genes.”

Michael & Jacinda Continue to Vex Nina
Nina (to Michael & Jacinda after walking in to see a shirtless Michael): “Do you two have to christen every surface in my office?” (Goes to grab disinfectant spray)
Jacinda: “Trust me, none of the office furniture has been defiled.”
Nina (to Michael): “I have a magazine to run, so I don’t have the time to worry about my CEO and the assistant he foisted on me sullying every corner of the building.”
Nina (to Michael): “Well, Jacinda isn’t the worst assistant in the world. So, if you can manage to keep your relationship out of my office, and the reception area, and the elevator, just…Then, I am sure the two of us can find a way to co-exist.”
Ava (to Nina after talking to Jacinda): “I see Michael’s hooker is still on the payroll.”
Miscellaneous
Lucy (as Sonny opens his door): “Hey! Just the man I wanted to see.”
Sonny: “I hope so since you’re at my house.”
Maxie (to Spinelli): “I have had a lot of surprises today myself. But, you being here by my side…not one of them.” Awwww
Musings & Speculations

Top 5 Favorite Moments:
- Tracy’s conversation with Cody about Molly’s book and Jane Austen.
- Jason’s conversation with Danny about Charlotte. Setting aside that they haven’t fully addressed the whole second cousins once removed thing, I like that Jason prompted Danny to consider Charlotte’s thoughts & feelings about their kiss.
- All of Maxie’s scenes with Georgie, James, Spinelli, & Felicia. Sure, GH has the most unrealistic coma awakenings, but these scenes were heartwarming nonetheless.
- Ava’s conversation with Trina at Haven’s Bistro. She was compassionate, thoughtful, and remorseful of her past mistakes.
- Portia’s personal version of the Maury Povich show, when she revealed the father of her baby in one of the hospital’s waiting areas.

Jenz & His Lady Friends
- Dying that Jenz had the audacity to pull Ava & Lucy into a love triangle or, perhaps, burgeoning throuple!
- I’m seriously gonna LMAO if Lucy is the one responsible for bringing Jenz Sidwell down.
- Did Ava really say she’d paid her debt to society when sparring with Lucy? Ava, I love you, but, ummm, no, no, you haven’t.

Jason Needs His Own Bat Signal for When Someone Needs Help
- Seriously, is there someone in Port Charles that Jason hasn’t directly or indirectly saved???

Lucas is Blindsided
- Oh, my dear Lucas, unfortunately, you set yourself up for this every time you acted self-righteous about Marco. Also, you lived at Wyndemere before, you know it’s never a good idea to confront anyone by the parapet!
Anna, The WSB, Sidwell & Son, The Crystalline Conspiracy, & Ross Cullum
- Okay, this story has gotten complicated and more than a little exhausting, but I still think it has great potential.
- First, kudos to Andrew Hawkes and Marc Forget for making Ross Cullum and Pascal into creeptastic, nefarious Hitchcockian or Twilight Zone-esque characters.
- Is Cullum a Faison superfan, Faison himself, or something else entirely? (Article: The Chilling General Hospital Theory: What If WSB Director Ross Cullum Is Actually Cesar Faison?)
- Marco better not hurt Lucas!
- Finally, Jack Brennan & Dante’s Spidey-senses are kicking in when it comes to Anna.
- Speaking of Spidey-sense, Josslyn should switch over to the PCPD because they could use someone with actual detective skills.
- Will Jason get to save both Anna & Britt, or is he going to have to Sophie’s Choice it? And, will he save them before or after Steve Burton goes on his break? (Article: General Hospital Casting: GH Star Steve Burton Takes Break for Family Time)
- What are Carly & Valentin getting ready to trip into?
- Will Sonny weaponizing Lucy’s unhingedness against Sidwell’s libido work?
- How will Nathan figure into all of this?

Miscellaneous
- Gio (Giovanni Mazza) gives the sweetest big brother energy when he’s with the kids.
- I hope they find Chase & Willow’s fingerprints all over that housekey.
- Chase is going to need to go back to singing if he can’t stop himself from interfering in the investigation. Maybe he could keep his cop uniform and join a Village People tribute band.
