General Hospital Recap September 4

At the hospital, Tristan tried to get to know Britt better by asking about her parents. Britt assured him that her guilt by association was alive and well. He said that if it made her feel better, the negative first impression she made was solely on her.
The Q Gathering
Michael invited Jordan over for a Q gathering, and Tracy warned her. When they were alone in the foyer, she told Jordan to keep an eye on Drew because he’d stick a knife in Michael’s back as soon as he could.
Brook Lynn asked Gio and Trina to perform later for everyone and they agreed. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Emma helped Chase make food. He mentioned how impressed Brook Lynn was when she saw Gio and Trina perform at Charlie’s, but she told him that Brook Lynn wasn’t there and arrived only before Jacinda sang.
Chase thought it was odd that Brook Lynn would go out of her way to set up Trina’s singing career for her when she’d never heard her perform live. Emma added that Dante had recorded Trino’s performance, and Brook Lynn was impressed by the video.
Chase Gets The Truth From Lucy
Lucy came in, thrilled to be invited to the social event of the year. Tracy gave her a frosty reception, but Chase was glad to see her and whisked her away. Over iced tea, Chase chatted up Lucy and then pointedly asked if she had exchanged Deception shares for lying to the PCPD. He warned that Lucy could go to jail for a year unless she amended her statement. Lucy agreed to give him a full, completely truthful account of what happened that night.
Trino saw Jordan and told her how she was there, but her mind was on her dad. They both lamented how hard it was to enjoy life knowing that Curtis was in a prison cell.
Stressed, Trina went to get throat spray from her place before singing. While she was gone, Gio and Brook Lynn had a quiet moment and bonded some more. He said sometimes it hits him that he has a mom again and he realizes how lucky he was.
Lucy suddenly rushed by, claiming she had to go take care of something. Before Brook Lynn could ask what was wrong, Chase walked in and told her they needed to talk immediately.
Meanwhile, Kai talked to Michael about Willow and how he was worried about retaliation. Michael assured him that he did the right thing coming forward. He said if Kai got so much as an inkling that Willow was a threat to him or Trina, he should tell him, and he’d deal with it personally.

Brook Lynn came to the kitchen and listed off the facts and timestamps of every person they knew and where they were that night. He said that Brook Lynn’s car matched the make and color of the one involved in the crash, and that it was in on the road near the site at the time of the accident.
Chase demanded to know if Brook Lynn was driving the other car. He said she’d promised to tell the truth after framing Willow for it. Brook Lynn promised to tell him everything later when there wasn’t a house full of people.
Chase agreed but said they would be talking about it that night. Brook Lynn left the kitchen quickly, but outside the door, Trina had heard the whole thing.
Ava Is Under Fire

Ava saw Isaiah at the hospital to have the tick removed. He said it was the Lone Star variety and there had never been a case of that in Port Charles. “Any idea how it ended up on you?” he asked. Ava said she wished she knew.
Isaiah said he had to notify the CDC and report that the species was found in the area. He prescribed her an antibiotic just in case she contracted anything but needed to know exactly where she was when the tick latched on.
Sonny Makes It Official
Alexis met with Sonny at his house to sign paperwork dissolving his professional partnerships with Jason. She was happy when Rocco and Scout walked in, but warned her granddaughter that Drew wouldn’t be happy to know they were together.
Scout knew that but said that she didn’t want to hang out in her room on the weekend. She went for a walk, ran into Rocco, and he invited her to the Q’s BBQ. “You know it’s a dangerous game that you’re playing with your father,” Alexis warned. “You’re not going to tell him I’m here, are you?” she asked.
Likewise, Sonny told Rocco that Drew hated him and to be careful hanging out with Scout. He said he’d use Rocco to hurt him. “You’ve been under Drew’s radar for a long time. Make sure you stay that way,” Sonny told him before he and Scout left for the party.
Sonny closed the door behind them and then asked Alexis, “How big of a disaster do you think that’s going to be?” Alexis ranted about Drew and tired she was of him keeping Scout from her family. Sonny thought that his excuses were about to run out since he and Jason were getting out of the business.
Tristan Overhears Details

Jason saw Anna at the gun range. He was happy to see her, but she was laser-focused on her plan, and he could tell something was off. She curtly wished him a good Labor Day weekend, packed up her stuff, and left.
Anna went out to the property she’d discussed with Sonny and arranged a gun kit she had hidden under a bush. She called Britt and said to meet her to share information on Cassius.
Tristan overheard Britt say on the phone, “You’re all the way out in Mount Emerson?” as Anna told her where to meet. She said if she wasn’t there within the hour, not to reach out to her again. Tristan saw Britt rush to the elevator and asked if something was wrong. “I need to go,” she said. “The things I do for my mother.”
Jason showed up after Britt left. When he said he was supposed to meet Britt, Tristan told him what he knew. Jason called Sonny and asked if he still owned land in Mount Emerson. Sonny quietly told him that Anna wanted to buy a parcel but didn’t want anyone to know.
Drew Hunts Down Scout

Martin was summoned to Drew’s house, but was confused when Drew no longer worried about Brennan after he’d broken in, searched his room, and found nothing. Drew told him he was sure that whatever Jack had on him would stay buried.
Drew said he was going to go get Scout and surprise her with tickets to the Chucks game since she had school next week and had been cooped up in her room. He realized that Scout was gone and tracked her location. “You’ll never believe where she is,” Drew seethed.
Drew went to Sonny’s and pounded on the door, demanding that he open up. “I’m here to get my daughter! Where is she?!” Drew hollered.
Rocco and Scout’s First Kiss

At the lake house, Rocco and Scout visited Outback since she was eyeing Tracy’s lasagna, and Rocco wanted to get her away from the house. They decided to bail on the party and go swimming instead. Outback waited until they jumped in, then took off.
When Scout and Rocco got out of the lake, they sat to talk. Scout said the only thing that made the summer bearable was hanging out with Rocco. She said that with other people, it could be weird if no one was talking, but with Rocco, they could just be quiet together.
“This is probably going to sound cheesy, but sometimes I feel like you’re the only one who actually sees me,” Scout said. Rocco totally understood, noting that other people were so sure of who they were that they didn’t listen.
Scout said that with Rocco, she felt like the best version of herself, content and happy. “I’m glad because that’s how you make me feel, too,” Rocco told her before they kissed.
Bad Endings

At the Q estate, Outback went straight to Brennan’s gravesite and started digging furiously.
Meanwhile, Brook Lynn and Chase came into the living room where Gio was starting to play for Emma, Kai, Tracy, Michael, and Jordan. Tracy looked at Brook Lynn and asked if she was okay, but Chase curtly responded that it was private.
Just then, Trina marched in. Glaring at Brook Lynn, she told Gio that she couldn’t perform with him. “What’s wrong?” he asked. “It’s your mother,” she seethed. “When my father and Jordan crashed that night, were you the driver who kept going and left them there to die?”
Meanwhile, at Mount Emerson, Britt ignored several calls from Jason as she followed the coordinates that Anna gave her. When she arrived, she asked Anna why they had to meet all the way out there. “So no one can hear you scream,” Anna told Britt as she pulled out her gun and pointed it at her.
