General Hospital Recap September 2: Drew and Ava Bury Brennan, Danny Confesses, Anna Sets a Trap for Britt

TL;DR: In today’s General Hospital recap for Wednesday, September 3rd, 2026, Drew and Ava bury Brennan on the Q estate, Danny admits to Chase that he stole his truck, and Josslyn reveals her WSB ties while she, Carly, and Jason question if Brennan is missing. Meanwhile, Anna plots a trap for Britt as Valentin helps her confront her past.

General Hospital Recap September 2

At the lake house, Danny and Charlotte tried to process their evening while Charlotte worried that she’s lost her “C” bracelet in the pool. Danny didn’t think it was a problem as lots of people have that initial. They also wondered how they would explain the ding in Chase’s truck.

Outback came running in, followed by Chase who declared the dog had found the suspects. Chase told them he knew that the truck was taken for a joy ride and Danny admitted that it was him who did it. He made up an excuse of where they were going, and said he didn’t think it was a big doeal to borrow it.

“It is a very big deal! You were driving a stolen vehicle, Danny. That is a crime,” Chase snapped.

Outback ran off so Chase asked her to follow. He turned to Danny and said he committed a felony and he’d have to tell his father about the situation because there would be consequences. 

Chase accused Danny of doing this before, and taking Brook Lynn’s BMW. Danny swore up and down that he took full responsibility for the speedboat and Chase’s truck, and the damage he did to them. “But I swear to you: I am not the one who took Brook Lynn’s BMW and I am not the one who scraped the side of it,” Danny insisted.

Drew and Ava Dig A Grave

Elsewhere on the property, Drew and Ava dug a grave for Brennan while bickering the whole time. Ava thought it was a horrible idea, but Drew thought if the WSB couldn’t find a body then there was no crime to investigate.

When the hole was keep enough, Ava and Drew got the body from the car and Drew rolled it in with his foot. Ava paused to say a little speech to Jack about how they didn’t mean to hurt him, although it didn’t change anything. She asked for a moment of silence, and then gave him that: just a moment. “Rest in peace,” she said with a shrug as she tossed his shoe on top of him. Drew got a shovel of dirt to cover him up.

Just as they finished and were covering the area with leaves, they heard Outback running towards them and barking. Ava and Drew grabbed their shovels to run to the car and took off, but behind them, something was in the leaves.  Moments later, Outback arrived and started digging, but Charlotte came to put on her leash, and take her away.

Gio Surprises Emma

At the Cat’s Eye Lounge, Josslyn got a call and had to run off before Gio and Trina got off the stage. Hudson was upset that she made him meet there, left before talking to her friends, and didn’t finish reviewing the work he needed signing off on.

After Josslyn left, Hudson went to talk to Brook Lynn instead after she’d congratulated Trino on their performance. He asked about Phoebe and if she wanted her to be musical as well. Brook Lynn told him she’d recently bonded with Gio as her son, since he was raised by someone else.

Gio surprised Emma by telling her he didn’t want to wait to spend time with her, and he’d booked them a trip to Montreal for the next week. She was thrilled and hugged him.

Trina told Kai that she felt bad that everything was going so well for her, when her dad was stuck in a prison cell, away from his baby. Kai said her dad was her biggest fan, and that her success was the biggest gift she could give him.

Josslyn Finds Carly and Jason In Jack’s Room

At Metro Court, Jason and Carly inspected Drew’s room and wondered who’d been in it. Carly said it couldn’t have been Valentin in it because he was with her — searching Drew’s room. They both froze when someone knocked on the door, but when they realized it was Josslyn, they let her in.

Carly explained that someone cut the security, so they came to check on Jack and see whether he was responsible or the target. “I’m thinking he was the target,” Josslyn said.
Josslyn explained that she had a debriefing with Jack that night, but he didn’t let her know the location, breaking protocol. “Why would you have a debrief if you’re working for your dad’s company?” Carly snapped. Josslyn stammered that she was working for JJE and she also hadn’t severed her ties with the WSB. 

Jason stepped in and told Josslyn someone had searched Jack’s room. Josslyn took them back to Jack’s office, noting that the black box was kept there at least so no one got their hands on it. She was sure he wouldn’t have kept anything classified or confidential in his hotel room. Carly suggested that whoever it was might have gone looking for Brennan when they couldn’t find what they were looking for. “You gonna call it in?” Carly asked Josslyn.

Carly noted that she could wait for the WSB to report him missing, or Jack could appear on his own. Jason agreed, adding that he and Carly weren’t going to say anything. Josslyn grabbed her phone and called it in that Jack could be missing. 

Valentin and Anna Go Shooting

Valentin took Anna shooting at the range to help her feel like normal again, although she wasn’t sure putting a gun in her hand was the way to go for that. While talking, Anna told him that she wanted to stop the people who could follow in Faison’s footsteps. “Like Cullum and Sidwell?” he asked. “No, like Cassius… and Britt,” she seethed.

Anna explained that it made sense to think that Cesar’s children would have skills. She noted that, despite her training, she let Cassius play her. Valentin told her that the narrative that Cullum was the hero and Cassius was the villain was a lie. “Cullum was a monster,” he said.

Valentin told her that Cullum wanted the formula for cold fusion and that he had access to Anna’s file and would have known how to break her down. He said he didn’t know Cassius or Britt, or how guilty they were, but he did know that Cullum was the one who traumatized her, and so was Cassius, for that matter. “They can’t hurt you anymore,” Valentin told her.

When Anna wanted to go, Valentin tried to offer her a ride home but she said they’d had a good night and to leave it at that. He agreed that he was a very good friend for her and said he always would be. They both welled up but he took his stuff and left.

Anna Plots Her Trap For Britt

Lucas asked Britt to meet him at Metro Court as he was supposed to meet Ava but she didn’t show. He told her that he’d moved out and how he was living with Joe. Britt didn’t like him and told Lucas how he questioned her before releasing her, then gave her $5 and made her take the bus.

Britt predicted that Joe would be nice at first, like helping with the dishes or watching The Bachelor. But then one day he’ll get his name on the lease, too, and suddenly he’ll turn on him. Lucas wasn’t buying her bad roommate story and she agreed it could work out.

Talk turned to Jason, and Britt smiled. She said that she felt like they were finally on the same page, they  had room in each other’s lives, and they were honest with one another. She thought things finally felt quiet.

When Lucas left, he spotted Ava and Drew at a table. He asked why Ava stood him up but Drew quickly explained that he had her so deep in conversation that he monopolized her time and apologized. Drew smiled and thanked Ava for all of her input that she had given him, and she replied that it was definitely a joint effort.

Back at the bar, Anna called Britt and told her that she heard back from her sources and might have some information about Cassius. She told her she’d be in touch about where to meet while she played with the target she’d been shooting at.
