General Hospital Recap October 2

Trina told Josslyn about her dad’s attack and that Sonny was behind it. Josslyn was enraged when Trina added that there wasn’t enough proof to press charges. Josslyn barked that she wasn’t going to let Sonny get away with it.
Trina told Josslyn that Gio thought Sonny had gone legit. Josslyn didn’t believe it and thought he was making fools out of everyone, including her mom, for believing him. She thought everyone around him was an enabler.
Trina admitted that over the years, she’d questioned Josslyn’s hatred for Sonny, but now she understood. She said that now that her dad was hurt, Sonny made her sick. Josslyn ranted that she was going to stop Sonny at any cost; Trina said she’d be there with the champagne when she was done.
Sonny Pleads To Dante and Gio

At Sonny’s, Gio was coming in as Dante was walking out. He suggested that Gio go with him, but he wanted to talk to Sonny first. Gio said Trina told him Sonny was behind Curtis’ attack and asked if it was true. Sonny told him Trina was wrong.
Dante countered that he’d seen Sully and Vito on tape. Sonny explained to Gio the message he’d actually sent and told him it was the honest-to-God truth.
Dante told Gio not to believe anything Sonny said. He asked him to learn from Dante’s mistake of putting faith in Sonny, and to walk away while he still could. Dante left Gio jaw-dropped as Sonny shook his head.
Once alone, Gio told Sonny that Trina was worried about Sonny coming after Curtis. Sonny asked him to assure Trina that he wasn’t a threat. He got choked up talking about how Curtis was important to Michael, and Trina was important to Gio. He said he respected Curtis and wanted Trina to know that.
Sonny tearfully told Gio that he loved his father, but he was wrong about him. Gio got emotional as well, and the two hugged.
Mac Warns Emma About Sonny

At Metro Court, Emma listened to Mac and Felicia’s concerns about her being associated with Sonny, but she told them that there was no proof he was behind Curtis’ attack. Mac explained that Sonny knew how to hide his involvement.
Felicia agreed that she believed Sonny when he said that he was going legit. Mac pointed out that dating Sonny’s grandson made her a target. Emma said if she was being asked to stay away from Gio, that wouldn’t happen.
Mac explained they were asking her to keep her eyes open. Emma left and saw Gio, who told her about his conversation with Sonny and Dante. He told her that Sonny kept denying being involved, buthe wasn’t sure he believed Sonny.
Chase Doesn’t Trust Brook Lynn

At the lake, Michael exited, leaving Brook Lynn with Chase. Brook Lynn asked if he wanted to revisit the idea of getting their own place with separate bedrooms, so they could work on things without interference. “Yeah, that’s not happening,” Chase told her.
Chase gave the excuse that they were running away if they moved out, and insisted that if they were to work on things, it had to be at Qs. Brook Lynn asked what the real reason was.
Chase said that he didn’t want to come home one day to find out Brook Lynn and Phoebe had moved back to the Qs and he’d been tricked into losing his daughter by renting the house in the first place.
Brook Lynn was stunned that he’d think she’d do something like that. Chase said that he could see her doing it, noting Tracy’s influence in doing the wrong thing. She walked out and remembered Michael telling her that she lets her feelings cloud her judgment of Chase.
Jordan Demands Justine Charge Sonny

At another table, Jordan demanded to know if Justine was going to prosecute her boyfriend. Justine said it was circumstantial evidence, and not enough to press charges at that point. “Wow. Sonny must be one hell of a lay for you to be that far gone,” Jordan snapped.
Jordan accused Justine of turning a blind eye to Sonny ordering grievous bodily harm to an innocent man. Justine noted that Jordan could put an end to her career if she outed their relationship. Jordan said she wouldn’t do that, but said if she didn’t press charges, she wasn’t the person she thought. “And certainly not my friend,” Jordan added.
Michael interrupted and asked to speak to Jordan privately, so they walked away. Jordan told Michael she couldn’t go to Germany as she wanted to help get Curtis moved to another facility. Michael understood but said it wasn’t her job.
Michael pointed out she wasn’t Curtis’ lawyer or bodyguard. He said the best thing she could do was take care of herself and be a life partner who didn’t resent him.
Lulu Gets Parenting Advice

Lulu told Tracy that if Danny came near her son again, she’d have him charged, but Tracy said that was dumb unless she wanted Rocco to never speak to her again. Tracy said she’d already talked to Danny and advised Lulu to stay out of it.
Tracy reminded Lulu that she never went to Maxie’s house and conspired to fix whatever issues they were having. She pointed out how she’d meddled in her own sons’ lives, and warned Lulu she’d regret it if she did.
Lulu said that it was hard to stay uninvolved when she could see the mistakes that Rocco couldn’t. Tracy said that was parenting in a nutshell. She forewarned that Rocco would shut her out if she meddled.
Tracy was shocked when Lulu told her that Charlotte had been sent away to boarding school. She told Lulu that Charlotte and Rocco weren’t innocent and said the common denominator was that they were all teens. She shared that when she talked to Danny, he clammed up, and that indicated he was protecting Rocco just as much as himself.
Tracy added that Danny wasn’t a bully going after Rocco for his lunch money. Lulu agreed but wondered what it said about her to watch her son struggle. Tracy said her job was to let him make mistakes and love him when he did.
Later, Dante came home and apologized to Tracy. “You were right about Sonny. You’ve always been right,” he said.
Rocco Comes Clean To Scout

At home, Rocco told Scout that Danny may have thrown the first punch, but he deserved it. Rocco admitted that he’d told Danny that it was his fault that Charlotte was sent away, and that if he still had a mom, she’d send him away, too.
Scout was upset by his harsh words; Rocco admitted he wanted to hurt Danny. Scout said that Sam never would have sent Danny away under any circumstances. She said Sam would’ve kept Danny home to work through a problem. “Don’t you remember how awesome my mom was?” Scout asked tearfully.
Scout noted that her dad was nothing like that. She thought her dad would send her away if she caused trouble. Rocco hoped she didn’t hate him for what he said. Scout told him she could never hate him, and they kissed.
Lulu saw Rocco and Scout through the window as she came home. She smiled, realizing that he was okay after all. She made some noise coming in, giving them time to separate, and asked Scout if she wanted to stay for dinner. Scout made a quick exit instead.
Justine Confronts Sonny

Sonny went to the apartment and took a swig out of a bottle. He texted Justine that he needed to see her right away.
When Justine arrived, Sonny was so relieved. He said that the fact that she showed up was a sign that she believed he wasn’t behind Sidwell and Curtis’ attacks. Justine told him that she had to look him in the eye when she questioned him.
