General Hospital Recap May 29

Ava and Alexis came to see Apollo at the art museum in New York. Alexis reminded Ava not to mention the name Quartermaine. Ava said she’d handle it her way.
When Apollo arrived, they asked about a former employee named Delilah. Apollo said he didn’t know much about her and didn’t even know she was pregnant. Ava thanked him but said they’d hang out and look at his art in case there were pieces for Sidwell.
In the back, Apollo called Ethan and warned him that Ava and Alexis were there. He said he didn’t tell them anything, just like when the police had asked. “Okay. Keep it that way,” Ethan told him.

When Apollo returned to the showroom, Ava cooed that she had found a piece Sidwell might be interested in. She also said the magic word: Quartermaine, and hinted that he could receive a reward for info on Delilah for the family.
Apollo suddenly recalled something and walked away. When he returned, he showed them a photo of Delilah — with Ethan.
Tracy Hires Ethan

Tracy found Ethan at the lake and told him she’d heard he had a business proposition for her. He told her that they had a good working relationship and that they didn’t trust anyone. “I’m sure you could use someone discreet and reliable for your more nuanced dealings,” Ethan explained.
Tracy told him she did, in fact, need someone with Ethan’s particular skill set. She told him, as her fixer, his sole goal was to ensure that nothing got in the way of Brook Lynn and Chase adopting Phoebe.
Michael Makes A New Plan

Michael found Brook Lynn wrapping a gift for Willow and told her that Willow wasn’t helping with the adoption for her sake; it was for Chase. Brook Lynn agreed that Chase had given Willow too much grace, but for this, she deserved gratitude. Michael offered her his car since hers was in the shop.
Michael questioned why Brook Lynn was taking on the showcase with everything else going on. She said that Gio and Trina’s performance inspired her, but Michael noted that she hadn’t even been there for it. Brook Lynn said that she’d seen the video, but that she rushed to get there in time to see it in person and didn’t make it.
Michael Weighs His Options With Jacinda

After Brook Lynn made a quick exit, Michael called Jacinda and asked her to come over. He told her he had a theory and, if he was right, he knew how to get to Willow.
He told her his reasons for thinking that Brook Lynn was the driver of the other car and said that if he was right, Chase saw things solely in black and white. He didn’t think Brook Lynn’s secret could ever be forgiven by Chase, even if she didn’t realize there was an accident when she drove away.
Michael thought Chase would turn to Willow; she’d be happy to receive him, and that would be the end of her career. He was sure that even if Chase reported Brook Lynn, she’d only get a misdemeanor for the guard rail, as she didn’t know there was an accident.
Willow Confides In Chase

At Drew’s, Willow clarified to Chase that she made a mistake marrying Drew and never should have become his wife. She said she didn’t love Drew anymore and didn’t know if he ever loved her.
Willow explained that she thought Drew was hellbent on taking anything of Michael’s, and one of the things happened to be her. Chase told Willow that she was her own person and not something to be owned. Willow knew they had married for the wrong reasons.
Willow lamented that she’d done the same thing, that she’d cheated on Chase with Michael, and then cheated on Michael with Drew. Chase wondered if she’d leave Drew if he wasn’t sick, and she said she would definitely leave if he was well.
Brook Lynn Sees Enough

Chase told Willow that it wouldn’t be like this forever and that she should trust herself to navigate it. “And if you can’t, trust me and the faith I have in you,” he smiled. Willow ran into Chase’s arms, and they hugged just as Brook Lynn walked up and saw through the window.
Brook Lynn knocked, and when Willow let her in, she gave her the gift and pretended to be surprised to see Chase there. She thanked Willow for all that she had done for the two of them, adding intently, “Isn’t that right, Chase?” Brook Lynn rubbed it in that she and Chase were together and that he was just as supportive of her as Kai was of Trina. Willow stared, watching her fawn over Chase in front of her.
As Chase and Brook Lynn left, Chase went ahead, and Brook Lynn used the opportunity to tell Willow that if she so much as breathed near her husband again, it would be her last breath. “I will destroy you,” Brook Lynn warned.
Portia Clashes With Curtis About Isaiah

At Curtis’ office, Portia told her ex about Derek’s situation and that Isaiah may never operate again. “If that is the case, Isaiah has no one to blame but himself,” Curtis replied.
Curtis and Portia argued about Isaiah, and Curtis brought up their affair. Portia said she turned to Isaiah because he stepped out on their marriage, and that she is still with him because he gives her the love and acceptance she never got from Curtis.
Curtis told Portia there were no victims in the demise of their marriage, and she agreed, but noted the hostility was one-sided between her, him, and Trina. She said that even while she was carrying his child, Isaiah was the only one who was supportive and non-judgmental, and she was the only one who had to divulge her personal life on the stand.
Curtis agreed with what she said, but he still felt she should leave Isaiah since he was capable of leaving someone to die on the side of the road. Portia snapped that he was wrong, there was no evidence to back his accusation, and if she had to testify against Curtis, he could count on her telling the truth.
Charlotte Seeks Carly’s Advice

At Carly’s, Valentine thought she was avoiding him, so she admitted that she didn’t want to come up to see him since he’d made it clear that he would ditch her in a second to go save Anna.
Valentine barked that he’d overstayed his welcome and that he’d be gone as soon as he shut down the project at Wyndermere. After he returned to the attic, Charlotte came by.
Charlotte lamented to Carly that she felt responsible for Rocco. As Carly advised her how to see Lulu’s perspective and not to put herself in any more danger for her mom’s sake, Valentine returned. “Charlotte, listen to Carly. The woman clearly knows what she’s talking about,” he said.
Charlotte was still worried that Cullum could go after Britt and Rocco. Valentine said he would deal with it and asked her to stay out of it as he couldn’t focus if he didn’t know she was safe. Charlotte thanked Carly for her time and went back home.
Valentin and Carly Set Expectations

Valentin apologized for earlier, but Carly said she was the one who was sorry. She said she’d put rules and expectations on him and shouldn’t have, but Valentin took her hand and asked what if he wanted her to.
Valentin regretted throwing his feelings in Carly’s face, but wanted her to know that she was the one who kept him alive the past few months. “I don’t know where it goes from here, if I’ll survive. But I want you with me through all of it. That’s my truth. What’s yours?” he asked. Carly kissed him.
