Gio and Trina talk about singing
Gio and Trina | General Hospital | ABC

At Bobbie’s, Trina told Gio she couldn’t make it to practice as she’d been up all night thinking about her dad and Isaiah. As she talked about the punch and the injuries it caused, she realized she was still defending her dad.

Gio didn’t pressure her but said that he didn’t think the showcase would be a waste of time. Trina thought it was trivial with everything going on for Curtis and Derek. Gio wondered how canceling the showcase would affect any of them, especially if she wasn’t even telling anyone in her family about it.

Gio shared how cutting off music for himself was a huge mistake and encouraged her to use it to get through stuff instead. In the end, Trina agreed to proceed with the showcase.

Curtis appreciated Michael’s support, but worried that things could become a PR disaster for Aurora if he went to trial.

At Q mansion, Chase moved Brook Lynn’s car from the driveway for her before heading to Willow’s, and Brook Lynn told Tracy about Alexis’ lead on Delilah. Chase returned and asked why Willow didn’t mention that there was something wrong with her car.

Portia arrived, so Chase left, and she told Tracy and Brook Lynn about the fallout of the accident, Curtis’ suspicions, the punch, and now Derek not getting life-saving surgery. Portia had barely gotten to request their financial assistance when Brook Lynn offered to write a check.

After Portia left, Tracy warned Brook Lynn not to blame herself for Derek’s situation, but she already did. Michael came home as Tracy called her mechanic and ordered him to come get Brook Lynn’s car and fix it immediately.

Willow and Sidwell | General Hospital | ABC

At Drew’s, Willow told him that Sidwell was calling all the shots and the situation was hell for her too, but she was working on a plan that could help them both. Willow told Drew that it turned out that she was good at being a Congresswoman and wanted to stay on after he was mobile.

Willow told Drew that she couldn’t trust him not to control her as he always did, so she couldn’t free him until she had something to incriminate him enough so he wouldn’t come after her.

Sidwell arrived at her request. Willow told him that she was in a bind, having both Drew and Brennan become locked in at her house. She wanted to stop dosing Drew, but Sidwell dramatically told her that they could enjoy the quiet because he was less of a bother when he was like a potted plant.

Sidwell took a call privately from someone he had looking for Britt. They found her car abandoned in Ohio. When Willow returned after putting Drew in his room, she told Sidwell she wanted him to give her something on Drew to use against him.

Sidwell was non-committal to what she wanted, told her to keep Drew drugged indefinitely, and to keep up the good work at getting the WSB funded. After he left, a frustrated Willow burst into tears.

Chase dropped by to drop off a stuffed animal left at the Q mansion. He asked why she’d been crying. “It’s just been one of those mornings,” she said. Chase insisted that he wanted to help so she blurted out that everything was wrong and she felt trapped.

Willow told Chase that she knew she couldn’t expect things to change right away but it was hard. Chase said that she didn’t need to handle eveything herself but she told him in this case, she did. Chase recalled how he’d rub her feet after a hard day at school. “I can’t do it, Chase. I don’t want to be married to Drew!” she exclaimed.

Molly and Cody Act Out

At Alexis’ house, Molly and Cody talked about her book and his similarities ot Casey in the lovemaking chapters. Molly admitted that she suggested they do some of the things that wound up in the book because she’d already imagined being with him. They decided they should try all the scenes for research.

They got busy on the couch until Suzanne walked in and interrupted. She gushed about the book and realized that Cody was Casey. After they got Suzanne to stop fangirling long enough to leave, they wanted to pick up where they left off but decided to go to Cody’s place instead.
