General Hospital Recap May 26: Rocco Sends a Message, Kristina’s Surprise, Sonny Makes a Plan

TL;DR: In today’s General Hospital recap, the search for Rocco intensifies, and Rocco makes contact with a coded message for Lulu. Sonny and Laura plot against Sidwell, Alexis worries about Danny, and Kristina gets exciting news.

General Hospital Recap May 26

At Sonny’s, he and Laura talked about Britt’s phone call and how they could use the info to their advantage. Sonny wanted to get Pascal to turn on Sidwell.

Sidwell Struggles

At Wyndermere, Sidwell got the autopsy for Marco but couldn’t bring himself to open it. He cried to Ava that it haunted him that Marco had been betrayed by someone he knew.

Ava wondered if there was someone else in Marco’s life, other than Lucas. Sidwell didn’t think so, but they talked about other possibilities. When Jenz asked about Lucas, Ava insisted that there was no way Lucas was capable of hurting anyone. She advised him not to read the autopsy as it would cause him more pain. After Ava left, he asked Pascal to put it in the safe until he was ready. 

Alexis Asks For Back Up

Alexis called over Molly and Kristina and told them that Danny wasn’t doing so well emotionally, and that he had asked Sonny for a job. She said what she was doing wasn’t working, and Danny kept breaking rules, apologizing, then doing more.

She didn’t know what to do, and suggested boarding school, but Molly and Kristina disagreed. She asked if they could talk to him and see if they could get through to him.

Kristina and Molly promised to help, but left when Ava showed up. Outside, Kristina received a message and learned she had been accepted into medical school.

Inside, Alexis told Ava she needed her to come with her to New York to investigate Deliliah’sconnection in the Manhattan art scene.

Carly Is Given A Search Warrant

At Bobbie’s, Liesl was happy when “Nathan” told her that he and Lulu broke up. Across the restaurant, Carly tried to enthuse Lucas to look at an apartment downtown, but he said he needed to stay at Wyndermere but couldn’t say why.

Joe came in and handed Carly a search warrant. Nathan and Liesl stepped in when they heard that it was for Britt’s apartment. Fitzpatrick advised Nathan and Liesl to go to the station.

Dante Looks For Rocco 

Lulu went to see Charlotte and Danny that Rocco left town and wanted to know if they knew anything. They didn’t, but Charlotte asked why Rocco would want to run away.

Meanwhile, at the station, Dante had Joe and Chase on the job to search phones, trace facial recognition, put an alert on their passports, and get a search warrant for Britt’s place.

Dante called Lulu and told her to come to the station. He told her the situation as Chase came with questions. Lulu offered that Rocco had a fake passport under the name of Tyler Anderson. When Chase asked how that was possible, Dante lied and said that Britt had gotten it for him.

When Nathan and his mom got there, Liesl laid into Lulu and Dante about Rocco preferring to be with Britt than them. Later, Lulu apologized to Dante for shutting him out of her plans to protect Rocco.

Charlotte and Danny came to the station and showed them a video message that Rocco had sent to Charlotte on her school email. In the message, Rocco told them that he left on his own accord and apologized, but said he wanted and needed to go. 

At the end, he told Lulu that “not all who wander are lost.” Lulu told Dante it was a code she’d given him to mean that he wasn’t taken against his will.

Nathan pulled Liesl into the interrogation room and told her if she knew anything about Britt to say it because it could be life or death. Liesl wondered what he wasn’t telling her.
