General Hospital Recap May 19

In the PCPD interrogation room, Jordan asked Curtis how it went from a suspicion to an assault charge. Curtis said that Isaiah was covering his tracks, which already had him fuming, and then he got in his face and said that he’d be a better father than Curtis, so he punched him.
Curtis assumed that Isaiah was okay.
Out in the hall, Joe worried that arresting the former police commissioner’s boyfriend was going to be a problem. “For her?” Dante asked. “For me,” Joe said. When Dante admitted his connection to many people, including the mayor, Joe offered his resignation.
Joe explained that he wasn’t someone who could just look the other way when it came to the law. Dante said he couldn’t make him work there, but there wasn’t a reason to leave. Dante said his report on Curtis was legit, and he wasn’t going to question him on it, and neither would anyone else.
Joe described the scene and Curtis’ attitude as an unrepentant suspect. “Then you did the right thing,” Dante told him. Just then, Curtis and Justine walked by; Curtis stared down Joe before leaving. Dante dismissed it, saying it was up to the ADA whether to prosecute.
When they got home, Curtis apologized for Jordan having to go in public before she was ready. He thought he should get ahead of the situation in case it went public. Jordan wasn’t concerned, as Justine had just been there and didn’t think there was any way she’d move forward with a case against him.
Justine Vents To Sonny

At the studio, Justine lamented to Sonny that Jordan had been through enough and now her friend was going to prosecute her boyfriend. She thought that Curtis was in a lot of trouble. Sonny thought he had been arrested by an overzealous cop, and it wouldn’t stick.
Sonny said that Isiah was a good doctor who had come through for him more than once. Justine asked his take on Curtis, so he said Michael respected him a lot, and didn’t want him in trouble. Justine said Curtis didn’t have any proof but was determined to make Isaiah pay.
Charlotte and Danny Terrify Rocco

Charlotte and Danny asked Rocco to come talk to them so they could apologize. They told him their plan to sneak into Wyndermere later that night. Rocco pleaded with them to find another way to find Jason, but Charlotte didn’t see another way.
Danny and Charlotte wondered why Rocco was so worried when he warned them that Cullum would kill them if they found them. Rocco insisted that they were bad people and threatened to tell Alexis and Lulu if they went to Spoon Island.
Danny told him he knew he would not, because his brother would never turn on him. They left, and Rocco threw a cushion across the table, smashing the glasses, out of frustration.
Valentin Gets A Call For Help

Valentin asked Carly if she’d thought anymore about a cover story for Josslyn’s absence. He wasn’t trying to downplay anything, but said that Josslyn could take care of herself. Carly disagreed, and felt like her daughter was in danger, probably with Jack, Sidwell, or Cullum.
Carly and Valentin argued about what needed to be done. Fuming at Valentin’s attitude, Carly told him she hoped his daughter would never be manipulated, taken at her most vulnerable, or put in danger. He said he hoped so too, but before they could take it further, Valentin got a call and went upstairs to take it.
When Valentin returned, he said he’d had an associate keeping tabs on Anna, and they called to say that Anna was being transferred to a high-security facility for the criminally insane. “Cullum…he broke her,” he said.
Valentin told Carly that Anna must have been terrified to break out of the facility. “She’s desperate, scared, and needs a lifeline,” he said. Valentin decided he was going to France to break her out.
Rocco Seeks Assistance

At Anna’s apartment, Emma cried to Gio about how worried she was about Anna. Gio told her he didn’t think anyone wanted to punish her; they were probably scared for her, and of her too. “In a way, maybe that’s a good thing,” he said.
Gio reminded Emma that Anna barrelled through the border and hijacked a car like a badass. “It means she’s not broken. She’s still your grandma,” he said. He promised he’d be there for Emma until Anna returned, no matter what.
Rocco showed up to talk to Gio, so Emma gave them privacy. Rocco told Gio that Charlotte and Danny were about to do something but freaked out before saying too much and wanted to bolt. He said he did something to help and made everything worse.
Rocco cried that he was keeping quiet about it because he was scared of what would happen to him if the truth came out. He got quite upset and reminded Gio that he promised not to tell anyone what he said to him. Emma came back in when she heard Rocco yelling, but he ran out the door in a panicked state.
Gio told Emma that he didn’t really understand what that was all about, but that Rocco wasn’t in a good place. He said he’d let down his brother before and didn’t want to do it again.
Gio went to the PCPD and asked to speak to Dante privately. He told him that Rocco came to see him and he was in trouble.
Britt Tells Off Cullum

At Wyndermere, Cullum told Sidwell that he knew Jason didn’t pull the trigger, but suspected that Danny did. Sidwell told Cullum that he resonated with Jason and Sonny in their desire to protect and avenge their children. He wanted to know what Cullum planned on doing to Danny.
Sidwell reminded him that Danny was a Quartermaine and closely related to the Corinthos family as well. He told him to be very careful with his next move, as it could bring down the whole operation. Just then, Britt walked in.
Britt said she could start the last phase the next day. She awaited her meds, but Cullum held the needle. “First, explain to me why you told the authorities that Jason Morgan shot me,” he said.
Britt admitted she didn’t see Jason shoot Cullum. She said she assumed it and wanted to think he did. “My only regret is that he didn’t shoot you twice,” she added. She said she held onto the belief that Jason tried ot kill him to get her out of the mess she was in with him. Outside the window, Danny and Charlotte listened intently.
Sidwell thanked Britt for the outburst, and Cullum warned her to think twice before wishing him dead. He threatened to keep her overnight, but Sidwell believed she knew what was at stake. Britt got her meds and promised them a prototype in 24 hours.
Charlotte and Danny Break In To Wyndermere

Cullum said he had work to do and Sidwell insisted on walking Britt out. They let themselves into the living room as Charlotte said she wasn’t so sure of their plan anymore. “Cullum and Sidwell are a lot more dangerous than we thought,” she added.
Danny said he wouldn’t judge Charlotte if she wanted to go, but he wanted to stay and find out what was in the basement. Charlotte told Danny she wasn’t going and that she could take him under the house so they could take pictures to show Dante. They snuck out into the hallway, but immediately bumped into Cullum.
Meanwhile, Britt went back to her office and took a deep breath, but before she could sit down, Rocco burst into Britt’s office, near hysterical. He told her that Danny and Charlotte had gone to break into Wyndermere.
