General Hospital Recap May 18

At home, Gio talked to Sonny about playing guitar again. He was supportive but encouraged him to perform with Trina and said that Brook Lynn would look out for him.
At the station, Dante was talking to Mac when Laura came and told them that things had changed for Anna and it wasn’t good. After debriefing them, they decided to go to Emma’s to talk to her and Felicia in person.
At Anna’s, Laura and Mac told them that Kevin was going to France to help out, but Anna had escaped and hijacked a car. Instead of prosecution, they were transferring her to a higher security mental health facility.
Gio arrived, and Emma ran to him. After bringing him up to date, Emma asked if moving Anna to a new facility would make her paranoia worse, and she’d believe that Faison was keeping her there.
Laura and Mac agreed that Anna should be in a facility that gave her help but also made her feel safe but the French authorities wouldn’t let her go. Laura said Anna needed a strong advocate and she knew who to call.
Nina and Ava Swap Notes

Nina met Ava at Bobbie’s because she wanted to be near the hospital. She told her about Brennan and how surprised she was that she cared so much, but said she felt bad that he was alone with no friends or family, and just the WSB to make his decisions.
Nina added that Carly and Brennan were over. Ava thought it was suspicious that Brennan and Drew had the exact same things happen to them at Willow’s.
Ava told Nina about Sonny confronting her and Ric at gunpoint, and how his thug took her out to the car and held her hostage until Sonny gave him the okay. She wasn’t too impressed with Ethan, although Nina thought that it might be worth considering to have him on her side. Ava assured her there was nothing trustworthy about him.
Isaiah Has Extensive Injuries

At Metro Court, Detective Joe Fitzpatrick appeared right after Curtis punched Isaiah. He confirmed what happened and then arrested Curtis, while Portia took Isaiah to the hospital as his hand was hurt.
At the hospital, Isaiah told Portia he was sure he had at least seven broken bones in his hand. After X-rays, he had 11 plus two torn ligaments, and would require multiple operations.
Curtis is Arrested

Meanwhile, at the station, Dante was shocked to see Curtis brought in, handcuffed. Curtis assured him it was all a misunderstanding. Joe wasn’t impressed when Dante took off the cuffs.
Dante took Curtis into the interrogation room and questioned what happened. When he asked if Curtis threw the first punch, he responded by telling him that Isaiah ran them off the road then left them to die — and that he was covering his tracks.
Curtis told Dante that he and Isaiah were working things out when Joe went overboard and arrested him. Curtis offered to apologize and pay Isaiah’s medical bills, but Dante told him to lawyer up because they were way past that and he’d need to be bailed out.
Curtis called Jordan and asked her to call Michael. When she hung up, she told Justine, who was visiting, that Curtis had been arrested for assaulting Isaiah.
At his desk, Joe asked Officer Matthews what he thought the chances were that Curtis would talk his way out of an arrest. He said that he seemed like he was the type of guy who was used to getting away with…”stuff.”
After Dante came out of the room, he questioned Joe about his arrest and the situation he assessed at the restaurant. Joe mentioned that Curtis accused Isaiah of leaving him and someone named Jordan to die. Just then, they saw Jordan behind them.
Jordan went to the interrogation room and explained to Curtis that she wouldn’t have someone else represent him; she’d do it herself.
Anna’s Chilling Message

At Wyndermere, Josslyn tried to convince Cassius to let her go and irritated him by repeatedly saying his name. He told her that the only way she was safe was if Cullum didn’t know she was there, but that could change.
Cassius asked Josslyn how she wound up in the WSB, so she told him how she got retribution after Dex’s death. She said she learned a lot about herself after shooting a man, and didn’t know she had it in her.
After they were done talking, Cassius locked Josslyn back in the room. When she got onto her bed, she saw something on the wall and pulled out the frame to read it. It was a message saying, “Anna Devane was held captive here. I was taken on 10-31-25.”
