General Hospital Recap May 12: Rocco Breaks Down to Britt, Dante Confronts Nathan, Isaiah Warns Lulu

TL;DR: In today’s General Hospital recap, Rocco has a fight with Danny and Charlotte, then breaks down to Britt. Dante confronts Nathan for covering up the truth. Lulu explodes on Britt, and Justine questions Isaiah but fails to get a warrant.

General Hospital May 12

Molly came to Jordan’s and told her that she wanted to come to see her in the hospital but was afraid she’d be intruding. She wished they hadn’t lost contact after she and TJ split but would like to be in her life.

Meanwhile, Trina came to see Portia and help plan her baby shower. Trina told her about her singing opportunity. They discussed inviting Jordan to the baby shower, and Portia thought it would be a good thing to do, but they worried that she might feel obligated to come, even if she wasn’t up to it after the accident.

Rocco Argues With Danny and Charlotte

In the park, Danny and Charlotte told Rocco that they found out Sidwell had Jason take away. Rocco was upset that he was just finding out, but they told him he’d been hard to talk to lately.

Danny said that if something was on Rocco’s mind, they were there for him, but right now he needed Rocco’s help going to Spoon Island. “Are you in?” he asked.

As Danny and Charlotte planned how to get there, Rocco snapped. He yelled at them about how dangerous Sidwell was and how they had no idea what they were getting into.

Rocco told them he wouldn’t let them do it and would rat them out so they couldn’t. Danny yelled at him that he needed to help his dad because no one else would. Everyone was upset, and Charlotte wouldn’t leave with Rocco when he wanted her to.

Dante Confronts Nathan

Dante called Nathan to his office and blasted him for not telling him about Rocco. They argued about it, but Nathan snapped that he made the decision that Dante wouldn’t have to choose between arresting or covering for his son. “You should be thanking me for it,” Nathan added.

Dante recounted how he’d talked to Nathan about Rocco and his struggles, and couldn’t believe he didn’t tell him at some point. He didn’t think Nathan could do that, and felt like he didn’t know him at all.

Nathan apologized and suggested that Dante put the gun and evidence in the incinerator, and hope that the WSB don’t come looking for it. “If you figured it out, Cullum can, too,” he warned. 

Lulu Explodes On Britt

Lulu summoned Britt to her house and told her she knew about what happened at the pier. Britt assured her who knew and promised to keep it that way. Lulu blamed Britt for it all.

Britt got upset and warned Lulu that Rocco was a ticking time bomb waiting to explode. She said she had tried to get him to stay away and let it go, and he couldn’t. “Since you’re his mother and you have all the answers, tell me what to do!” she hollered.

Lulu reminded Britt of the time she had already stolen from her and said that if anything happened to Rocco, it was all on her. She said that Dante knew the truth and threw Britt out.

Justine Goes After Isaiah

Justine asked Isaiah to come into her office and questioned him about the night of the accident. She told him the evidence they had and how it pointed ot him. Isaiah was stunned that that was why he was there.

Isaiah told Justine to call his lawyer if he had questions, but she said they were just eliminating possibilities and asked for a paint sample. He told her he knew that if they had evidence they wouldn’t be asking for it and left, shaken.

Later, Curtis came by and asked for an update. Justine said that the judge turned down her request for a warrant, and there wasn’t a case against Isaiah. 

Isaiah Warns Lulu

Meanwhile, Isaiah went to Lulu’s and told he that he’d just come from the ADA’s office, and she’d questioned him about the accident. He told her that she and Rocco were his alibis as he was there at the time of the crash.

Isaiah explained about his car being in the shop and that it looked like he was covering up. He told her that he might have to tell Justine that he was there that night. Lulu understood and said that if he needed to, he should do it, but asked that he give her a heads-up first.

Rocco Runs To Britt

When Britt came home, she found Rocco waiting for her outside of her room. He cried that he had a fight with Danny and that Charlotte took his side. He knew he was freaking out but didn’t know what to do or how to handle it.

Rocco blurted out that Danny was going to do something stupid to help his dad, and he couldn’t tell him anything about how bad Cullum and Sidwell were, or that he was at fault for what happened to Danny.

Rocco cried that he was afraid that Cullum would find out, was upset that he heard his parents screaming at each other about him, and felt helpless with it all. Britt told him he was brave for what he did.

Britt said she was sorry for what he was going through, but that he was in that position because he was a hero. She apologized for pushing him away, and said he could come to her anytime about anything, but he had to be smart about it. “We’re going to ge through this, Rocco, I promise,” she said as he cried on her shoulder.
