General Hospital Recap May 11

Charlotte came to Carly’s to see her dad, but she told her he wasn’t there, as he had to deal with Jack Brennan. “About time,” Charlotte told her.
Carly told her some of the situation with Jack and how, because of him, Josslyn wasn’t safe. She warned Charlotte that the best thing she could do for her dad was stay safe, as worrying about her, it made him vulnerable.
Nina Calls An Ambulance

Drew listened from the bedroom as Nina screamed, Brennan collapsed, and Valentin wanted to know what was in the needle. Valentin checked to see if Brennan was faking it and determined he wasn’t.
Valentin grabbed the guns and told Nina to let him know if Jack died, leaving her to deal with Jack. Nina called for an ambulance, which came and took him away. She told them she’d follow in her car, leaving Drew alone, who was starting to get hand movement.
Dante Confronts Lulu

Dante went by Lulu’s and told her that he knew Rocco shot Cullum. He was livid, so Lulu explained what she knew of what happened, saying how Jason and Nathan protected him.
Lulu explained that Dante wanted to go by the book and didn’t trust that he would let the WSB take their son. She said that he’d put his trust in the system before and look what happened to Michael.
Dante was upset as he pieced everything together and all the times he’d been lied to about it. Lulu said she hated it, but she had no choice. Dante understood she needed to protect Rocco from the WSB but said she didn’t need to protect Rocco from him.
Lulu cited what happened to Rocco when he tried to save dogs. Dante told her that if he could figure out what really happened, the WSB could, too.
Dante insisted that decisions about Rocco and the secret were to be made with him, not Nathan. He said that he didn’t know how to deal with what she did — not only keeping the secret from him but convincing Rocco to hide the worst thing that had ever happened to him from his father because she believed he couldn’t be trusted.
Outside, Rocco was on the porch when Charlotte came home. He told her his parents were arguing about him.
Sonny Wants to Shoot Ric

At the gallery, Ric insisted that he wouldn’t risk his relationship with Sonny, and he hadn’t betrayed him. He insisted that nothing he was doing with Ava had anything to do with him.
Sonny didn’t believe them and told Ethan to take Ava out. He demanded Ric tell him what they were up to because his trigger finger was getting itchy.
Sonny told Ric that he knew he’d lied ot him about where he had been but Ric insisted it had nothing to do with Sidwell. He told Sonny to look in his briefcase and handed him a paper. “Ava was helping me buy a gift for Elizabeth,” he explained.
Ric said he had to make a private sale but didn’t like Ava either. He lied because he didn’t want Sonny upset that he was having any interaction with her. Sonny admitted that the Sidwell situation had him thinking unclearly, but after all the times that Ric betrayed him, he thought he’d done it again.
Ric told Sonny that if he needed Ethan to stay on him to trust him, he was fine with it because he wanted their relationship to work, and thought Sonny did, too.
Sonny told Ric he wanted the type of relationship with him that never required doubt. They ended up laughing and talking, but Ric looked concerned.
Ava Doesn’t Like Ethan

Meanwhile, Ethan took Ava and roughly shoved her in his car. She told him that she wasn’t plotting with Sidwell against Sonny. They argued, and he suggested he could help her with Sonny, but she said he was just Sonny’s latest flunky.
Ethan told her that she should be nicer because Sonny’s flunkies, as it could be beneficial to her. Ava snapped that she didn’t need mansplaining from a boy.
Valentin Returns To Carly’s

Valentin returned to Carly’s and told her that she was right; Nina double-crossed him. He told her what had happened: Jack claimed not to know where Josslyn was, and he might not make it through the night.
Valentin pointed out that at least Jack couldn’t tell anyone that he was staying at her place. Carly agreed but had some mixed emotions at first, but Valentin snapped that there was no happy ending for Jack if she wanted to find her daughter.
Valentin pointed out that with Jack out of commission, Cullum would now be running the Port Charles WSB station.
Nina Rushes to the Hospital

At the hospital, Elizabeth asked Nina what happened, and she told her that Jack was fine and then just collapsed, and she didn’t know why. Elizabeth said they were doing everything they could for him, but it would be a long night to save him.
When Elizabeth asked if she wanted to call Willow, or if she was home with Drew, Nina’s jaw dropped. She remembered she’d left him home alone.
At home, Drew was getting more and more mobility in his hands. He managed to move his arm, so it dropped on the table next to him, which had a phone on it.
Chase Asks Willow For a Favor

Willow and Chase were both out for a jog and ran into one another, although Chase noted that he hoped they would. He told her that she and Willow wanted to adopt Phoebe.
Willow was happy about it but warned him that using the Quartermaine name might be a mistake and do more harm than good.
While they talked, someone was taking photos as Willow put her hand on Chase’s shoulder. Willow was interrupted by a phone call from Nina, telling her she was at the hospital.
Nina carefully chose her words to tell Willow that Brennan got Drew’s dose, and that Drew got nothing.
Willow ran home and burst in just as Drew was trying to dial. She took the phone away and muttered that she was the only one who could be relied on to take care of him.
Elizabeth Gets Suspicious

Meanwhile at the hospital, Elizabeth told Nina they had stabilized Jack and were moving him to ICU. She couldn’t talk to her about specifics since she wasn’t family, but said she’d alert the WSB.
Elizabeth then saw Lucas and noted how strange it was that two healthy men would have strokes in the same house just three months apart.
