General Hospital Recap June 4: Sonny Flips Pascal, Josslyn Plants a Clue, Ethan Is Phoebe’s Father

TL;DR: In today’s General Hospital recap, Sonny flips Pascal, Josslyn fights to survive her hostage situation, and Alexis finally learns the truth about Phoebe’s father. Meanwhile, Tracy inadvertently does Michael’s work for him, planting a seed of distrust in Brook Lynn about Chase.

General Hospital Recap June 4

At Drew and Willow’s, Drew listened as Willow told Nina her good mood was because she’d seen Chase. She told her about her job offer, but Nina tried to argue that it was a big gamble given how he was so by the book and had no political experience. Willow felt obligated since Chase put his career on the line for her, but Nina warned that making him her chief of staff could end her political career.

At Q mansion, Michael asked Brook Lynn how her meeting went with Sidwell. She wasn’t pleased that it wasn’t resolved but said she was also distracted by the fact that Willow was after her husband. She told him about what happened at Willow’s when she threatened her to stay away from Chase.

Tracy Confronts Chase Over Willow

Meanwhile, at the lake, Chase told Tracy that she had misunderstood what she had seen between him and Willow, but she was convinced that he had just thrown away his marriage. Tracy told him to go up to the house and pack his little bags.

Tracy dared Chase that when she told Brook Lynn what she saw, he’d dump her, so Chase grabbed his phone, called his wife, and asked her to come to the lake house. When she got there, he told Tracy the floor was hers.

Tracy fumbled while telling him that she’d seen a scantily clad Chase and Willow in a compromising position. Brook Lynn asked to speak to her husband privately. Before leaving, Tracy told Brook Lynn that if he hadn’t cheated on her yet, it was only a matter of time.

Brook Lynn and Chase Get on the Same Page

Once alone, Chase denied everything Tracy said and swore he never had and never would cheat on her. Brook Lynn pointed out it was the second time that day he’d been found alone with Willow.

Chase didn’t think Willow had feelings for him, but Brook Lynn did. She said she understood that he wanted to see the best in Willow, but thought he was blinded and saw only that. He revealed that Willow asked him to be her chief of staff.

Brook Lynn was appalled, but he told her about the money and the hours, and how it would be better for being a father, crediting Willow for including those perks in her offer. Brook Lynn thought that it was possible that her family got into her head a little bit, and she had been judging Willow too harshly.

Chase wanted to consider Willow’s offer but said they’d decide together as they were a team. Brook Lynn told him she’d talk to Tracy about it and get her to back off.

Michael and Tracy Compare Notes

Tracy returned to the house and told Michael she had just found Willow trying to seduce Chase, which made him grin. He agreed with Tracy that there was something going on between them.

They talked about Willow’s cheating and that it took him a long time to accept it but the video was what made him see the truth. Tracy said she was just hoping to get her granddaughter to see it sooner rather than later. Michael suggested that since she’s warned Brook Lynn and she’s aware now, Tracy should step back and let things play out on their own.

Josslyn Faces a Deadly Threat

At Wyndermere, Josslyn promised to keep his name out of it if he let her go, but Sidwell wasn’t interested in making a deal. He backed her into the living room with his gun in her face and told her she was no longer a valuable hostage. Just then, Cassius came in and told him not to shoot her.

Sidwell insisted she was more trouble than she was worth and would just escape again if they locked her back up, but Cassius stood between them. He told Jenz he came over after finding out that Pascal had run when the cops wanted to question him about Marco. He said the PCPD had more questions, and he volunteered to take the lead.

Noting Jenz was lucky it was him, not Joe, walking through the door. He also said he wanted to keep Josslyn locked up. While they talked, Josslyn took off her ring and dropped it to the carpet, using her toe to slide it under the couch. Meanwhile, Cassius promised to do a better job of ensuring Josslyn couldn’t escape.

Sonny’s Plan Targets Sidwell

Sonny’s henchman brought in Pascal, who asked if he was going to kill him. Laura and Lucas walked out, and they explained his situation: they needed him to help bring down Sidwell. One sigh later, Pascal asked what they wanted him to do.

Sonny told Pascal about Sidwell blackmailing them after setting up Laura for Dalton’s murder. He wanted him to get the photos that he was using to threaten them with. In exchange, he’d fly him anywhere he wanted on his personal jet and give him $50,000 to start a new life with.

Laura gave a personal guarantee that they wouldn’t kill him after he got the pictures. Pascal declined the deal as the photos were in the safe and he couldn’t go back without getting killed.

Lucas said he’d go if Pascal gave him the combo to the safe. Sonny dropped his offer to $40k since Lucas was doing all the work. Pascal wrote down the safe combination (60R-19L-86R for those who like the details), and gave it to Lucas, instructing the envelope the pics were in.

Before the henchman took him away, Lucas said he wanted Marco’s tie. “But this is all I have left of him,” Pascal pleaded. Lucas said he didn’t care. “Cullum may have stabbed Marco, but you are just as responsible for his death,” he seethed. Pascal gave him the tie before being hauled off.

Alexis Learns the Truth About Phoebe

Alexis called Ethan to her office and showed him the picture of him and Delilah together. She had already figured out that Phoebe was his daughter. Ethan admitted that Delilah told him she was pregnant, and he was coming to see her. He was delayed, and by the time he arrived, she wasn’t answering his messages.

Ethan thought that Brook Lynn and Chase were the perfect parents for Phoebe and thought it was just easier for everyone if he didn’t say anything. Since he’d be working with Tracy, he didn’t want them to think he was checking up on them and asked Alexis to just tell them that she couldn’t find the father.

Alexis said no, but also wanted something to protect her clients. He said he suggested doing a closed adoption, keeping his anonymity, and the files wouldn’t be opened, keeping everyone happy.

Lucas and Cassius Make Their Next Moves

Lucas found Sidwell in the living room. He said the police interviewed him and he’d heard about Pascal. Sidwell was seething and said he was right in front of him the whole time. He didn’t know how he missed the signs.

Sidwell cried that he was the one who brought Pascal into their lives, and he had trusted him, but he murdered his son. Lucas told Jenz that it wasn’t his fault and that he loved Marco. “I am so relieved to see the man responsible for Marco’s death brought to justice,” he said.

Meanwhile, in the tunnels, Josslyn told Cassius it was time for him to make his escape as well after he told her the final project was on hold. She said her offer still stood to go to the WSB and take down Sidwell and Cullum.

When she went on about giving him immunity, he told her to shut up. “I’m not going to change my mind. Save your breath,” Cassius said. But once on either side of the door, they were both deep in thought.
