General Hospital Recap June 22: Sidwell Hides Out With Willow as Dante and Lulu Get a Lead on Rocco
TL;DR: In today’s General Hospital recap, Sidwell hides out with Willow, Dante and Lulu get a lead on Rocco, it’s payment time for Brook Lynn, and Trina asks Portia and Curtis to back off.
General Hospital Recap June 22

Ethan showed up at the art gallery to get Ava, per Sonny’s orders. Ava was resistant and questioned Ethan’s intentions with Phoebe. He assured her that he had no intentions of intervening in the adoption. Both agreed in the past, they were the type to do something like that.
Ava still wouldn’t cooperate to leave willingly. She told Ethan that if needed, he had to back her up. Flirtatiously, they agreed to go see Sonny.
Trina Tells Portia and Curtis She Needs Space

At Portia’s house, Trina sat down with Portia and Curtis to tell them that she wanted to take a break from them, but they told her they’d just discussed it and they already had it covered. Portia and Curtis told Trina about their agreement, and she agreed it sounded like they were on the right path.
However, Trina maintained that she wanted a lot less attention from both of them. She explained sternly that she had put their drama before her own needs and wasn’t going to do it anymore. Curtis and Portia weren’t happy but understood when Trina said she needed to distance herself for a while.
Brook Lynn and Chase Get on the Same Page About Willow

Brook Lynn found Chase holding Phoebe and singing ot her, and her heart melted. They chatted about Tracy, and Brook Lynn hoped that they could get past their differences. Chase knew Tracy was protecting Brook Lynn and said they were on the same page.
Brook Lynn was thrilled when Chase told her he had thought it over and would turn down Willow’s job offer. He added that he’d sit for the detective’s exam again, but when Phoebe was older.
Sidwell Hides Out at Willow’s

Willow was telling Drew that she had to go out, but Michael was dropping off the kids when Sidwell walked into the room and told her to make other plans. When she asked how he’d gotten in, he said, “through the back door, the same way you did when you shot your husband.” Sidwell wasn’t interested in taking her invitation to leave.
Sidwell made himself comfortable and said he’d be staying there a few days as it was the least likely place anyone would look for him. He also shared that he wouldn’t be leaving Port Charles until he found out who killed his son.
Willow threatened to call the police but offered to give him a head start. Sidwell reminded her of all the things he knew to put her in jail. He added how he could help her keep Drew incapacitated for years to come.
Chase dropped by, so Sidwell hid. Willow was shocked when Chase told her that he was declining her offer to be her chief of staff.
Lucy Gives the PCPD a New Lead

Lucy came to make a statement at the PCPD and was assigned to Joe Fitzpatrick. After endearing herself with her rambling, Lucy told him that Willow was visiting the Quartermaines the night of the crash.
Lucy told Joe that Willow had left and would have been driving on the road at the same time as the crash. She added that Willow usually got quite emotional at the Q mansion after the divorce.
Lucy insisted she had nothing against Willow, but said she could understand why she’d keep it silent. Joe wondered why it had taken her so long to come forward. Lucy gave the excuse that she had just seen her calendar that day and remembered, then rushed right over to tell the PCPD.
Afterward, Lucy went to see Willow and gave her the update. Then, she told her she wanted something in return.
“Nathan” Sends Dante and Lulu to Rocco

At Lulu’s, “Nathan” told Dante and Lulu that Rocco and Britt were in Tortola, but wouldn’t say his source. Dante and Lulu weren’t sure they should believe him. “Nathan” said he was trying to learn from his past mistakes, and Rocco was their son. He told them to stop asking questions and go get Rocco, but Dante wondered if Nathan was sending them on a wild-goose chase while he protected his sister.
“Nathan” snapped at their accusations and told them, like it or not, Britt loved Rocco, and he didn’t believe she did anything out of malice. He said they needed to decide whether to save Rocco or get revenge on Britt.
Dante and Lulu were stunned when “Nathan” told them that they seemed to have forgotten that Rocco left willingly and went to Britt for help instead of them. They accused Nathan of helping Rocco and Britt run away.
Nathan snapped that he left his sister, unconscious with a head wound, on the pier to protect Rocco. Dante sniffed that Nathan claimed not to want to bring up the past, but here he was mentioning it.
Eventually, Nathan insisted they give their word that Britt could just walk away and not get turned in. “You go, you get your kid, you leave,” he said. Dante said he wasn’t leaving them much choice. Nathan gave them the address. “You can go now,” Lulu told him. “You’re welcome,” Nathan said as he walked out.
