At the PCPD, Lucas told Joe that Pascal was obsessed with Marco, although Joe questioned why he was just mentioning it now when he was questioned on March 23.

Lucas told Joe that Pascal was wearing Marco’s tie right in front of him and said he could be in danger. Joe wondered why he also lived at Wyndermere, but Lucas didn’t like his questioning and asked to see Dante again. Joe rolled his eyes when Lucas said he and Dante were like family.

Down the hall, Elizabeth reminded Dante that Britt loved Rocco like a son and was sure that if there was danger, she’d send him back to his parents. Lulu interrupted and thanked Liz for trying to stop Britt from leaving that day.

Britt revealed that she’d known everything for a while. Lulu was taken aback and questioned why she was scolded for talking to Nathan when Dante was doing the same with Elizabeth. Joe came in and said he needed some assistance with someone who claimed to be family, so Dante walked out.

Once alone, Lulu surprised Elizabeth by telling her she was glad she knew and that with all of them working together, they could bring Rocco back more easily.

Meanwhile, Lucas quickly brought Dante up to speed and asked him to question Pascal. “Dante, please believe me. Pascal has done something horrible. I know it,” Lucas pleaded. Dante asked Joe to bring him in for questioning and to get to know Wyndermere since they go there often enough.

Cullum Threatens Jack’s Life

At Turning Woods, Cullum came to see Jack and told him that he had found his ‘little black box’ of secret information but wanted the combination to get in. He’d gotten into the digital files of Five Poppies and saw what was redacted.

Cullum asked if Jack had turned Britt into a WSB asset and helped her escape. He warned that if he was innocent, he’d have nothing to hide and told him to blink the combination. Jack threatened to put an air bubble in Jack’s IV, which would kill him immediately.

When Brennan didn’t flinch, he said it made more sense to talk about it when they didn’t have an audience, and they could talk about it in a more private setting later, but he made it clear he’d die if he didn’t comply.

Nina Delivers Jack’s Message to Valentin

Carly tried to turn Nina away, but Valentin said to let her in. She told them that she had a message from Jack: “ex machina.” Valentin turned to Carly and said that Jack was desperate and they were in bigger trouble than he thought.

Nina warned Valentin that if he’d come to her, she would’ve helped him, but now he was stuck with Carly, and that never worked out for anyone. “I’m not anyone,” Jack told her. After staring each other down, Nina left, and Valentin told Carly that he liked them as a team.

Carly wanted to go to Turning Woods, thinking it was safer than Valentin trying to not be seen by the WSB. Valentin told her that Jack hated him but summoned him using ex machina, and he had to answer the call.

Later, Carly went into Jack’s room at Turning Woods and told him to save the blinking; she knew he could talk. Jack asked where Valentin was, but a moment later, he came in, dressed as a nurse.

No Deception For Sidwell

At Wyndermere, Lucy paced while she waited with Brook Lynn and Tracy to see Jenz. She wondered if their plan was the best idea. Jenz found out they were there, called Tracy annoyingly consistent to Pascal, threw on a smile, and entered the room.

Tracy told Jenz to hold the pleasantries because they were there to tell him that it was his last day at Deception. She threatened to do request a whistleblower audit with the FCC so that their hands would be clean and for him to withdraw his funds and all traces of him immediately.

Sidwell blasted the three of them for making such a grave mistake and said that without him, there was no Deception. Tracy shrugged that she wouldn’t lose sleep and that they’d have to take their chances with the FCC.

Just then, Pascal interrupted and said Sidwell was needed. He saw Cullum in the hallway and told Pascal to keep the ladies company. Jenz asked Cullum if he’d found Britt yet. Cullum thought it was time to replace her to finish the project.

Cullum slipped down the hall when there was a knock at the door. In the living room, Pascal served tea to Tracy, Brook Lynn, and Lucy as they waited. Sidwell opened the door and came in with Joe Fitzpatrick behind him. He told Pascal that he had some questions for him regarding the murder of Marcos Rios.

Jacinda Helps Set Up Chase and Willow

At the lake, Jacinda talked to Chase, claiming she dropped a pair of Crimson sunglasses into the water. He offered to help look, but the conversation quickly turned sour when she mentioned Michael, and Chase couldn’t help but insult him as being too good to be true, noting that it was something that Willow could attest to.

Jacinda pretended to stomp off but turned back and smiled when she saw Chase jump into the lake.

Meanwhile, at the Q’s, Willow told Michael that she was asked to do a photo shoot with the kids in summer mom mode, explaining her shorts and bathing suit look. She wondered why he called her over, noting it must be important for him to get Tracy to allow her on the property.

Michael said he wanted to have the kids on the 4th of July, and they rearranged the schedule to accommodate it. Willow surprised Michael by being agreeable to everything, and they both noted it was nice to be working together for the sake of the kids.

Michael said he forgot to put Wiley’s mitt in his backpack but offered to drop it off later as it was down at the boathouse. Willow said she’d go grab it instead. As soon as she was gone, Michael texted Jacinda that Willow was on her way.

Willow came to the boathouse and bumped into Chase in the doorway. Jacinda saw them standing so close and not moving away from the outside of the window. Chase asked Willow to go swimming, and she had a flashback to Brook Lynn warning her to stay away, but she chose to say yes to him anyway. “What’s the harm?” she even said.

After a swim, Chase and Willow talked about her life. Willow said that she’d been thinking a lot about her and Chase and the way they used to be.

Chase said he was glad they found their way back to being friends. A moment later, Willow moved closer so she could take a leaf from his hair. Chase and Willow warmly smiled at one another.

Michael and Jacinda Strategize

Jacinda returned to the house and told Michael she didn’t think much of his plan until he saw Chase and Willow interact together. She wasn’t sure romance was on his mind, but noted that he was definitely a sucker for a damsel in distress.

Michael believed Brook Lynn was better off without Chase. He said she knew she couldn’t trust him to talk about her accident, so she had to go through it alone. He also knew that if they kept manufacturing these moments for Chase and Willow, eventually they would act on it, and they could blow it all into the open.
