General Hospital Recap June 10

Dante arrests Sidwell

At the tennis court construction site, right after Lucas hit the ground, Dante and a few officers rushed in with guns pointed and arrested Sidwell. Laura ran over to Lucas and tried to revive him. Joe helped Lucas sit up and pulled open his jacket to reveal his bulletproof vest as Sonny came over. He told Sidwell that he was just doing his civic duty.

Sidwell told Dante to arrest Laura and Sonny for murdering Dalton, but admitted he no longer had proof because Lucas stole it. Dante said, then it came down to his word, which meant nothing. “Nathan” arrived as Sidwell told all of them that they had started a ball rolling that they wouldn’t be able to stop. Dante heard enough and asked “Nathan” to take him to the station and have him booked.

Laura wanted to take Lucas to the hospital to be checked out, but Dante wanted to ask her and Sonny some questions, so Joe offered instead.

Sidwell’s Arrest Takes a Dangerous Turn

Meanwhile, Cassius pulled over with Sidwell. He told Jenz that he had to get out of the country and disappear permanently or he’d be going to jail. Sidwell had a better idea and said he was on top of his own situation. Sidwell told Cassius to hand him his gun so it would look real.

At the hospital, Lucas told Joe he didn’t need to stick around, but Joe was concerned that he had done some internal damage. He asked if it was worth it, and Lucas told him it was, as he did it for Marco. As they waited for a doctor to check him out, Joe told Lucas he was lucky that Sidwell didn’t go for a head shot.

At the construction site, Dante asked a few questions about Sidwells’ accusations about Dalton, just to be thorough. He stepped away to take a call, and Sonny told Laura that it was over, “Is it though?” Laura wondered.

On the phone, Dante took a call from “Nathan” who told him that one of Sidwell’s guys clocked him and got the jump on him. “Sidwell’s gone,” he said.

Curtis and Portia’s Baby Shower Erupts Into Chaos

At the shower, Stella tried to tell Portia and Curtis to take it down, but Portia refused. She reminded Curtis that they were at their baby’s shower and that she could give birth any day, yet he was spewing his unfounded claims to anyone who would listen.

Portia added that she wouldn’t want him around the baby while he was acting the way he was, so Curtis told her she was known as a liar and brought up the past. Isaiah interrupted and warned Curtis to back off, prompting Curtis to threaten to hit him again. Jordan told Curtis not to say something he’d regret.

Stella intervened and reminded them that they had once been married. Curtis said his issue was actually with Isaiah for leaving them to die.

Curtis Triples Down

Portia argued, but Jordan joined in and also accused Isaiah of running her off the road. Isaiah told them all that he wouldn’t take responsibility for something he didn’t do. He said he loved Portia and he had been there through it all. Isaiah reminded them that he lost his career because of Curtis, one that he spent over a decade training for to make a meaningful difference in the world.

“I’m not the one who brought us to this point, Curtis. You are,” Isaiah said. Portia told Curtis he would have the doctors call him about appointments, but moving forward, she wanted nothing to do with him and not to call her.

After Portia and Isaiah left, Stella told Curtis that she owed him an apology. She said his behavior was out of line, and, as fragile as the relationships were, he made it worse. Stella told him she wouldn’t be surprised if Portia and Isaiah were on the phone with their lawyers, and if that was the case, she was truly sorry for him.

Alone together, Curtis told Jordan that his takeaway was that Portia didn’t think he was a good father. Jordan agreed, saying Portia only said that to hurt him. She asked Curtis not to believe Portia and said she backed him all the way.

Trina Chooses Herself

At the lake, Gio, Emma, and Kai listened as Trina told them about the shower. She said she’d realized in the moment all the things Kai told her about taking on her parents’ problems were true, but this time she was done. Trina told them she walked out without even saying goodbye. She insisted she didn’t want to do that anymore and put her life on hold to balance their drama.

Trina told Gio that because of it, she’d been flaky about the showcase, but she was prioritizing it and she wouldn’t cancel on him again. She vowed to put her all into it from then on.

Jack Makes Willow an Offer

At Turning Woods, Willow didn’t understand how Jack was talking, but he told her that Nina wasn’t injecting him as she thought. Nina came in, but was taken aback to find Willow there. They argued about his medication, but Jack said Nina had done the right thing and that they had to bring down Sidwell.

Jack told Willow he knew she had shot Drew and that she needed the leverage he knew about. He shared that Drew had misappropriated campaign funds and that, if it came out, then he could go to prison. Jack said he had the proof and that it was the only offer Willow was going to get through him to stay out of jail.

Jack said that he was the only one who could access the information. He advised them to let Cullum and Sidwell think he was paralyzed, and he figured only one or two more shots for Drew would give him the time he needed. Willow worried that the longer it went on, the more likely someone would find out. Jack said supporting him worked two ways; Nina told Willow she didn’t have much choice.

At Carly’s, she and Valentin wondered if Cullum knew she was WSB. They suggested she found out that Britt was finishing the project at Wyndermere, went back to shut it down, then got caught. Carly wanted to rush right over, but Valentin said that if she was there, she was alive but wouldn’t be if they didn’t make the right moves.

Tracy Reassures Lulu

Tracy came to Lulu’s and offered her fleet of P.I.s to find Britt, but Lulu worried that if they found Rocco, it would bring new danger. She was concerned that the wrong people could follow her P.I.’s. She wondered how she had let her son down, but Tracy said she hadn’t.

Tracy thought Rocco was just doing what Lulu taught him — to help someone in need. Tracy took her own digs at herself as a mother, but Lulu said she had at least one big success: her. Lulu took Tracy’s hand and got tearful as she said she was the best stepmonster she could ever have, and she had never let her down. “And I never will,” Tracy promised.
