General Hospital Recap July 6
The fallout from Spoon Island continued as long-buried secrets unraveled, devastating truths came to light, and one man everyone believed was dead turned out to be very much alive.
Carly Takes On Z Over Josslyn

Carly stormed into Z’s office determined to get her daughter out of the WSB. She accused Jack Brennan of exploiting Josslyn’s grief to recruit her and demanded that Z release her from service. Z made it clear that wasn’t going to happen, even adopting a mocking southern accent to tell Carly, “That ain’t gonna happen,” prompting her to slap him across the face.
Although he warned Carly he could have her arrested for assaulting a federal agent, Z instead praised Josslyn’s abilities, calling her one of the WSB’s most valuable agents. He even suggested Carly herself might have been WSB material and jokingly invited her to dinner. Carly rejected him, declared the WSB a blight on her daughter’s life, and vowed to remove it by any means necessary before storming out.
Josslyn Comes Clean to Lucas

At General Hospital, Josslyn apologized to Lucas for manipulating him under WSB orders. She admitted that encouraging him to move into Wyndemere and maintaining a close relationship with him had all been part of an operation to gain access to Spoon Island.
Lucas struggled to process the revelation, questioning if anything had been genuine. Josslyn insisted she loved him, but when he asked whether she would manipulate him again if ordered to, she honestly admitted she would.
Josslyn apologized, but Lucas said going forward, he would always wonder who he was talking to: his niece, or Agent Jacks. Josslyn said that this had nothing to do with the agency but she needed a favor.
Sonny, Ava and Ethan Deal With Sidwell’s Aftermath

Sonny visited Ethan in the hospital after Ethan took a bullet protecting Ava. He explained that Sidwell had survived and would instead face justice through Justine Turner.
Ava wasn’t thrilled with that outcome, believing Sidwell deserved a far more permanent fate. Sonny reminded her that Ethan had saved her life and suggested she reward him accordingly. After Sonny left, Ava offered Ethan a $50,000 bonus, but Ethan declined the money, content with having Ava keep his secret about Phoebe, which she unknowingly learned while he was delirious. Instead, he simply asked for some ice chips.
Danny Learns the Truth About Rocco

Outside Lulu’s house, Danny confronted Rocco after learning that he was the one who shot Cullum. Furious that Rocco still refused to come forward, Danny accused him of hiding behind promises made to his parents and Britt. Rocco insisted he had acted to protect Jason and couldn’t betray those promises now.
Inside the house, Charlotte admitted to Lulu that Valentin had secretly been in Port Charles ever since escaping prison and revealed that Danny also knew. Lulu quickly realized there was much more happening than she’d been told.
When Lulu interrupted the boys’ argument, Danny discovered she had known the truth all along while Jason remained imprisoned. Feeling betrayed by everyone, he stormed away, leaving Rocco convinced their relationship had been destroyed. Charlotte admitted she had been the one to tell Danny everything, earning Lulu’s anger before they headed to the hospital together.
Dante Refuses to Help Britt Escape

Dante visited Britt in custody, where she begged him to release her for Rocco’s sake. Dante refused, insisting she was responsible for her own situation.
Britt argued that she had changed and genuinely loved Rocco, but Dante believed she only truly loved herself. Unable to convince him otherwise, Britt was left alone to face whatever the WSB had planned for her.
Jack’s Evidence Disappears

At Turning Woods, Nina found Jack trying to leave despite his recent stroke. Jack insisted he needed to return to work, particularly because he believed he had evidence that could help Willow expose Drew. Unfortunately, he admitted that the evidence was apparently gone.
Vaughn soon arrived to brief Jack on the WSB investigation while also informing Nina that the man she had known as Nathan West had officially been declared dead. Before Vaughn could leave, Danny arrived to tell Jack he knew Jason hadn’t shot Cullum and that he knew who actually had.
Britt Learns She Never Had Huntington’s

Lucas arrived with life-changing news. He revealed that Britt’s medical records had been altered for years and that the injections she believed were keeping Huntington’s disease at bay contained nothing but saline.
At first Britt refused to believe him. Lucas explained that Cullum had deliberately convinced both Britt and Cassius she was dying to control them. The symptoms she’d experienced were psychosomatic after years of believing she was terminally ill. Overwhelmed, Britt lashed out and ordered Lucas to leave.
Later, Liesl arrived after Lucas called her. Britt tearfully confessed she had spent years working for dangerous men, destroying relationships, and sacrificing everything because she believed Cullum was saving her life. Instead, she had never been sick at all.
While Britt mourned everything she had lost, Liesl wept with relief knowing her daughter would live. Their emotional reunion was interrupted when Nina arrived with heartbreaking news that Cassius had supposedly died.
Vaughn Welcomes Josslyn to the WSB

Before returning to Borneo, Vaughn stopped by the hospital to say goodbye to Josslyn. She admitted she had just confessed to Lucas that she’d manipulated him and even acknowledged she would do it again if necessary.
Vaughn told her that was exactly what being an agent required. Declaring she was no longer a rookie, he officially welcomed Agent Jacks into the WSB.
Valentin Returns to Port Charles

Outside the hospital, Carly filled Sonny in on Josslyn’s secret career with the WSB, blaming both of them and their years of mistakes for putting their daughter in this position. She said she’d spent the morning trying to get her released but the WSB didn’t care about people.
At that moment, a black SUV pulled up. Valentin stepped out, prompting Carly to run straight into his arms and kiss him. Sonny could only stare in stunned disbelief, while Lulu was equally shocked and stopped Charlotte from running to greet her father.
Cassius Is Alive

Inside a secret WSB facility, Z visited a heavily guarded prisoner connected to life-support monitors. The prisoner was revealed to be Cassius, who had secretly survived the Spoon Island explosion.
Cassius immediately asked whether his mother and Britt were safe, but Z refused to answer. Instead, he informed Cassius that the world believed Cullum had died a hero trying to stop him and that Josslyn had testified accordingly.
Cullum warned Cassius he was facing the death penalty before offering him one unexpected alternative: He could avoid that fate by joining the WSB.
