In the Q mansion, Brook Lynn lit up when she saw Gio singing to Phoebe. They talked about his contract, and she assured Gio that he didn’t have time to think before signing and that there was an out if he wanted it. Gio said he wasn’t going to change his mind, but it meant a lot to him that she was looking out for him.

Gio confirmed that he was moving back to Sonny’s and Brook Lynn told him he was always welcome. She suggested he go for a swim before he left. When Gio got to the dock, he was about to dive in but saw something in the water.

Jason and Britt Reunite

At the hospital, Jason told Britt that the WSB had let him go and asked if there was somewhere they could talk. Britt hit him in the face.

Britt took Jason into an exam room and explained she was on probation so she couldn’t just leave with him, but now she could tend to him and not be in trouble.

Jason told her that he was locked up in Jakarta but that he was home now — for good. Britt hugged him tight. Jason told Britt the story of how one day they just pulled him out of his cell, told him the charges were dropped, and put him on a plane.

Britt realized that Jason had come back two weeks ago and had gone away with Danny. She was upset that he didn’t text her, but he said he wanted to do this in person. Jason said it sounded like she’d been through a lot and asked how she was doing.

Britt agreed it had been a nightmare, but some good came out of it: she never had Huntington’s, and she wasn’t going to die. Jason hugged her again.

Jason Makes Britt Smile

Britt admitted she did a lot of bad things and hurt a lot of people to stay alive, and Marco died. But it turned out to all be for nothing. “What do I do with that?” she wondered. She was sure Jason should hate her for getting him involved in all of it.

Jason disputed her regrets, including letting Rocco go away with her. He told her she didn’t give herself enough credit, and that he saw exactly who she was.

Jason asked about Cassius, but before she could tell him anything, a nurse called her to see a patient in labor. Britt quipped she didn’t get time off when Jason told her they could meet up later.

Before she walked out, Britt asked Jason if he remembered the last thing she said to him when they took him away. “You said you loved me,” Jason recalled. “I meant it,” Britt told him. Jason replied, “That’s good, because I love you too.” Britt beamed as she left.

At the Metro Pool, Ethan met with Ava. He asked her straight up if she told Brook Lynn about Phoebe’s paternity. Ethan reminded Ava that Phoebe’s father was a really bad guy. Ava said she didn’t say anything, but Ethan noted she wasn’t saying she wouldn’t.

Ava told Ethan that losing the baby one day to the father would be devastating, but Ethan said it wouldn’t happen. Ethan said that the scary man that Delilah was involved with knew she was pregnant, but since Ethan signed the adoption papers, he would never find out that his baby was Phoebe.

Insisting that he and Delilah were just friends and that the father was very bad, Ethan asked Ava again not to tell Brook Lynn the truth. Ava said she’d made up her mind on it and she wasn’t going to say anything.

Ava was going to leave, noting that she wouldn’t bother him anymore but Ethan said he didn’t want that.

Ethan said that he took a bullet for her and the least she could do was have a drink with him. After some banter, Ava agreed that she wanted to, and sat back down.

Willow Is Questioned About Sidwell

Willow asked Chase if she was under arrest, but he said she was to be questioned about Jenz Sidwell and her connections to him. Tearfully, Willow told Chase that she was in the middle of something and asked if he could tell the PCPD that he couldn’t find her.

Chase said he wouldn’t lie for her and advised that saying no would look suspicious. He encouraged her to just clarify her relationship with Sidwell, noting if she didn’t come in now they would just send someone to her house later. Willow reluctantly agreed to go with him.

At the station, Molly was waiting for Willow’s questioning. She told her that Ezra’s statement claimed that she took multiple meetings with Jenz and wanted to know about them.

Willow balked and said that if they wanted to question her, they’d need to set up an appointment with her lawyer. When they tried to dissuade her, Willow asked if they were breaking the law.

After Willow left, Dante said that stonewalling them on Sidwell just raised more questions, like how they connected, how often they met, and what they were meeting about.

Meanwhile, Chase went home and told Brook Lynn about his conversation with Justine. He said that he and Dante were open to repairing their professional relationship. Chase also disclosed that he picked up Willow, and that she’d offered him a trip to DC the other day, but he declined.

Nina Turns to Brennan

At the WSB, Valentin told Jack that, in exchange for the black box, he wanted all his accounts unfrozen and full access to them. Brennan told him they could work something out. He sent him with Josslyn to get the paperwork signed for his accounts.

Meanwhile, Jack had just gotten into his black box and found that the Drew Cain folder was there when Nina came to see him. He told her that he just found the evidence against Drew, but Nina said it was too late.

“I just killed him,” Nina cried. Nina told Jack what happened and begged him to help her cover it up, as she couldn’t go to prison.

Nina and Jack left, but Valentin returned with Josslyn, who said Jack offered for them to wait in his office while Valentin’s accounts were unfrozen.

Valentin was shocked that Jack knew she had arranged his release yet still trusted her. He noted that she said she got him released to protect her mom from charges, but thought she also did it for him for saving her life.

Josslyn agreed that he did, and she was grateful, but her gratitude had limits, especially when it came to his relationship with her mother. Just then, Josslyn got a message that Valentin’s assets were free, and so was he, to do whatever he was going to do next.

Nina and Jack got to the dock and found Gio there. He asked if they were looking for Drew. Nina said they were — she explained that she’d left him so he could get some air, but when she came back, he was gone.

Gio told them that he found Drew in the water. Nina put on an act and asked if he died. “No! That’s not what I meant. He’s alive!” Gio exclaimed.

Meanwhile, Willow raced home to pack quickly and called Lila’s Place to let them know she’d be picking up the kids soon. As she turned, she noticed dirt on the floor and knelt down to get a better look. Just then, the door slammed. Willow spun around to see Drew glaring at her.
