Gio and Trina came to Metro Court pool looking dejected but just pretending. They told Kai and Emma that they were signed as a duo. They told them all about the showcase.

Emma didn’t seem too enthusiastic when Trina said they were going to put a performance together with one of their more established bands.

Stella called Trina and told her that her mom had the baby, and she wanted to go right over.

Once alone, Emma told Gio that professionally performing was always Trina’s dream, and asked if it was Gio’s as well. Gio wondered if Emma didn’t want him to sign the contract.

Emma told Gio that if it was what he wanted, then she was in full support. Gio said he wasn’t sure if he wanted to be a professional, but knew if he didn’t take the opportunity in front of him, he’d always regret it. The two of them were excited about his future. Gio and Emma danced in the moonlight, and he serenaded her.

Anna Confronts Britt

Anna took Britt into the hospital stairwell for privacy. “Did you know your brother was holding me captive at Wyndemere?” she asked. Britt said she didn’t know that, but did know he wasn’t Nathan.

Anna wanted to know why Britt didn’t tell anyone. She told Anna how she was told she was dying to build the prototype. Anna said it was a page right out of Faison’s playbook, and that Cassius was taught everything Cesar knew.

Britt told Anna that they were more alike than she knew. Britt told her she was manipulated too thinking that she was going to die for years. She said they were both tricked into believing things but they had to put it behind them and move forward.

“Well, that would be convenient for you,” Anna snapped. She accused Britt of preying on people’s weaknesses with Cassius, and said they were just like their father.

Britt insisted she was nothing like them. Even acknowledging her past choices, she maintained they weren’t as bad as things Faison did. Anna said there was only one good Faison and he’d been dead 8 years.

Britt told Anna it was best that they stay out of each other’s way. “I’lll start,” she said as she walked away.

Liesl came to see Josslyn. She told her that she was upset because her son, who had saved Josslyn’s life, was being defamed. Liesl was stunned when Josslyn doubled down on her claims, saying it was what happened and that she was the one who told the WSB.

Liesl went off on Josslyn, but Josslyn held firm that she had done the right thing. Obrecht defended her son, saying he wanted a life in Port Charles and to do the right thing, but Josslyn said that was just what he wanted them to think. She reminded her about all of his lies.

Josslyn said she wanted to believe Cassius, too, but he wasn’t a good man. She said he was smart and knew what she needed to hear. She told Liesl she was sorry things turned out that way. Liesl wished her a speedy recovery before sadly walking out the door.

Josslyn thought back to the way Cassius swore to her that he would keep his word and get her out of Wyndemere alive. “I’m so sorry,” she cried to herself.

Jordan called Curtis to the hospital and told him that his son was born at home, but they were there now. He went to Portia’s room and found her holding the baby. “Would you like to hold your son?” she asked.

Meanwhile, Stella was overwhelmed at the story Jordan told her about how she helped deliver the baby. Jordan credited Portia’s strength and said it was a beautiful moment that she’d never forget.

When Isaiah came in, Stella told him what happened. He was stunned to learn that Jordan and Portia delivered the baby. Isaiah rushed off to see them, but she suggested he give Curtis some space first.

Isaiah went in to check on Portia and see the baby, but Curtis told him it was a private moment and asked him to leave. Isaiah gave Portia a kiss, told them both congratulations, and left smiling. Portia was happy as well, but Curtis looked at her in disbelief.

Trina arrived at the hospital, and Stella told her how Jordan and Portia delivered the baby at home. Isaiah walked up and asked what she was doing out there, and suggested she go say hi to her little brother.

Excited to find out it was a boy, Trina ran upstairs to her mom’s room. Stella offered to drive Jordan home, and told her she was part of the family.

Trina came in and met the baby. Her parents said when they had a name, she’d be the first to know, but they wanted to get to know him first. The three of them bonded again over the baby.

After, Trina gushed to Kai about having a baby brother. Down the hall, Isaiah told Jordan that he was grateful she was there to help Portia. She agreed and said she was hopeful it could be a sign of good things to come.

Stella went to meet the baby. She told Curtis and Portia that she hoped he was a wake up call for the two of them to straighten up and get their acts together.

James Learns the Truth About Cassius

Cody and James
Cody and James | General Hospital | ABC

At home, Cody told Molly that James’ family all agreed that he needed to be told that Cassius wasn’t really Nathan. Maxie and Spinelli wouldn’t be there, and said that breaking the news was all on him.

Molly gasped that James would hate the messenger, and Cody braced himself for the fallout.

Felicia brought James over and said he hadn’t felt like doing much lately. Cody took James into the tack room to tell him. James didn’t want to talk about Nathan leaving, considered him a hero, and wondered why everyone was whispering about him now.

Cody reminded him of what Cassius said to James before leaving, and how some of the things he’d hear about him would be bad but true. “This is going to sound crazy, but the bad thing that he did was pretend to be your father,” Cody said.

James was very upset and told Cody he was wrong. Cody gently told James that Cassius was Nathan’s twin brother and he was sorry to tell him that his dad never came back.

Liesl came in as Molly and Felicia were hearing James yell at Cody that he was lying. James ran out of the tack room and into Liesl’s arms. He asked them to tell him that Cody was lying but Liesl said he was not.

Liesl told James that everyone believed Cassius but he was lying. “I miss him,” James said. Liesl cried that she did too, and thought that she had her son back. She said she was extremely sad but there were so many people in their lives that they never would lie to him.

Liesl pointed out all the people in James’ life, and Cody told him he had him, too. “No,” James yelled, “I never want to see you again!” He threw his hat and ran out.
