Brook Lynn met with Gio and Trina at the studio for her showcase. Trina was nervous, but Brook Lynn and Gio were excited. Trina told Gio it was a mistake and she couldn’t do it.

Trina had a panic attack, but Gio calmly talked her through it. When Simon, the record producer, asked them to start from the control room, they were ready.

When they were done, Simon told Brook Lynn that Gio was a virtuoso whom he’d like to pair up with someone he knew. He went into the sound booth and told Trina and Gio he wanted to hear it again, and said Trina was holding back. “Show me who you are when you let loose,” he advised.

Curtis Checks In While Britt Gets a Reality Check

At Metro Court, Stella told Curtis that she knew Trina was keeping her distance lately, but her showcase was that evening. Curtis would’ve preferred hearing it from Trina, but he understood her need for peace.

Across the bar, Carly was thinking about Brennan telling her that Anna was back when Valentin arrived. He told her about taking Charlotte to Wyndemere and his intention to buy it when his assets were no longer frozen.

Britt marched up behind them and asked Carly if she always had to be spiteful. Carly asked Valentin to give them a minute, then told Britt that she disappeared, kidnapped her cousin, and all her things were gone.

Britt reminded Carly that she saved Josslyn’s life and that Jason would want her to help her. Carly agreed but didn’t think that the world owed Britt anything. She told her to fix her life herself.

Meanwhile, Valentin saw Curtis, who thanked him again for helping him the night of the accident. He told him how the other driver didn’t stop, and wondered if Valentin remembered the other car; Valentin said he didn’t.

Stella saw Britt and approached her. She told Stella that nothing was okay but thanked her for asking. Britt said that she appreciated Stella’s kindness, and that she was one of the few people at the hospital who could make her days better.

Stella told Britt that her patients loved her and she was a good doctor, but there were too many times that she’d left. She warned there were too many times that you could be unreliable before people gave up.

Anna Questions Josslyn

By the pool, Emma and Kai waited to hear how the showcase went. Kai was anxious, but Emma reminded him that they had agreed to give them space and had promised to call afterward.

Carly stopped by and asked how Anna was doing. Emma said everyone was being very helpful, especially Valentin.

When Josslyn woke up in the hospital, Anna was waiting. She needed to know how Josslyn knew Cullum was behind everything. Josslyn told her how she met him, and he had the book and cigarellos, and it was while Anna was in Wyndemere.

Josslyn told Anna how Cassius had opportunities to take her out but didn’t and protected her from Cullum, and that he claimed to have no knowledge of Anna’s kidnapping. She defended that he wanted to live up to Nathan, but at some point he knew. Josslyn shared that she’d traded Cassius’ reputation for Valentin and Jason’s freedom.

Anna clarified that the deal was Josslyn’s idea, then warned that, from the WSB’s perspective, they had done her a favor. She said they would expect something in return, and Josslyn might not like what that was.

Anna had another question. She wanted to know if it was Cassius’ or Cullum’s idea to weaponize what had happened to her with Faison. Josslyn said she couldn’t know that. Anna told Josslyn it was good to see her but to rest up because the life she signed up for would require her energy.

When Anna left, she saw Britt in the hallway. Peter appeared behind Britt as Anna told her that she had just been talking about her father and brother.

Brennan and Nina Continue Their Search

Jack and Nina

Nina helped Brennan look for the black box at Wyndemere. As they were about to check out the west turret, Jack stumbled. Concerned he wasn’t well, Nina told Jack to rest in the living room, and she’d look for the box. After Nina walked out of the room, someone wearing gloves opened the front door.

When Nina returned, Jack revealed that the box had an infrared tag and that they could use a scanner to find it. He explained that he’d have to get a scanner from the WSB off the books since they were being watched.

Nina reiterated the need for the black box before Drew literally started talking. “You’ve mentioned that,” Jack said before walking to the door. On his heels, Nina said she sensed an attitude. She reminded him not to forget that she was the one who saved his life. “As if you’d ever let me,” Jack sighed.

Jack and Nina left while an unidentified person went into a utility room and removed Jack’s black box.

At Portia’s, she was in labor and struggling when Jordan returned. Jordan called an ambulance, but Portia warned there might not be time. Jordan said she wasn’t ready for what was about to happen but it was what it was.

Jordan helped Portia and held her hand as she pushed, ready to deliver the baby. After wrapping the baby in a blanket, Jordan handed Portia her son.

Drew Makes Another Breakthrough

Drew, Wylie, and Amelia

When Michael brought the kids home, Willow told him that his latest attempt to frame her failed. Michael denied any involvement, but Willow said it didn’t matter as she had it on good authority that the PCPD was dropping it anyway.

“Congratulations on not almost killing Curtis and Jordan the way you didn’t almost kill Drew. I’m very happy for you,” Michael said. Willow quickly claimed she was exonerated, but Michael corrected she was acquitted.

Michael told Willow that she needed to quit complaining because it gave her exactly what she wanted: it sent Chase running to her rescue.

Wiley and Amelia came in with board games and wanted Michael to stay and play, but Willow said he had to go. In the other room, Drew was able to lick his lips and say “Willow.”

Down the hall, Drew continued to get his mobility back. He managed to move a foot as the door opened. Drew turned his head to look at Amelia. She waved to him, and Drew managed to make a weak wave back as Wiley came in.

Wiley reminded Amelia she wasn’t supposed to be in there but saw Drew wave and told him that was really good. Drew lifted his hand to his face and made the silent sign with his finger on his lips.
