In the General Hospital recap for Thursday, January 29, 2026, two pairs kissed, two made love, Molly had mixed feelings about what Kristina did behind her back, and Britt told Jason everything.

At Drew’s, Tracy served bourbon in Scout’s thermos to Martin, who balked. He either wanted it served in Quartermaine crystal or she could go sleep in her car, he said.
Tracy wondered why Martin hated her so much and why he kept trying to attack her. “You don’t remember? You ruined my life!” Martin barked.
Martin told Tracy that he lost Lucy because of her. Tracy said the only one Lucy ever loved was a duck, and that he’d caught her cheating — which reminded her that Martin never thanked her.
Martin said Lucy was the love of his life.
Tracy snapped that he didn’t know the first thing about love, but after all of her marriages, she figured out who the love of her life truly was.
As they argued about her relationship with Luke and Laura, Tracy made her point that the only way someone can be your true love is if you see them for who they are and not who you want them to be.
Martin said that now he knew how Tracy felt, he understood her better, but noted that at least he was still able to put his heart out there.
After emerging from the bedroom at the barn, Cody and Molly were snowed in. Molly checked her emails and suddenly reacted. She sheepishly told him that her book was published.
Molly wasn’t pleased that Kristina sent her manuscript to the publisher behind her back. Molly was hesitant to go ahead with the book deal.
Cody understood that she was passionate about being a lawyer, but also that she was concerned that a successful book meant a tour and other distractions from her job.
Cody and Molly went back up to bed but later Cody came down and read her manuscript.
Danny and Charlotte made it to the gatehouse. They had service, so she responded to Lulu that she and Danny were at the Q’s. Lulu texted Carly, but she didn’t see it.
Danny and Charlotte hung out in front of the fire, talking about their lives and the expectations people had of them. As they talked, they grew closer — and then they kissed.
Carly couldn’t hold Valentin from going to find Charlotte in the storm. She gave him a flashlight, hand warmers, and an extra jacket before he went out into the storm to find Charlotte.
A while later, Carly found Valentin shivering on his way back. She brought him in to warm up and told him that she got word that Charlotte was safe.
Carly and Valentin sat in front of the fire as he told her that he couldn’t even make it to the treeline. He noticed Carly had her boots and jacket on and asked if she was coming out to find him.
Carly admitted she was.
As they talked about what they’d do to save their daughters, Valentin and Carly noted they saw each other differently now, and they weren’t who the other thought they were.
At Bad Jenn Cafe, Nathan temporarily got some power going and told Lulu to contact whom she could while she could. Luly got Charlotte’s message and relaxed.
Nathan noted his truck was in a ditch, and they were stuck for the night. Lulu looked for blankets but only found a bottle of wine to keep them warm.
As they talked, Nathan quipped that his dad was always on his back. “I thought you said your dad never paid attention to you?” Lulu asked.
Lulu recounted how he’d said that Nina was his dad’s favorite. Nathan told her that he couldn’t do math well so he made him study science. But since he couldn’t follow his Dad’s footsteps, he lost interest in Nathan.
Lulu complimented Nathan on who he was, and said his dad was an idiot if he couldn’t see that. Nathan and Lulu kissed.
In a cabin, Jason came in carrying Britt. She was amazed that he found her and was shivering. Britt recalled how she lost her way in the boat, which was taking on water, and she was so cold. She thought she was going to die, but then she heard his boat.
Jason said they were in the old harbormaster’s house; the water was too rough to get back to the mainland. Jason moved her closer to the fire to warm her up, and they wound up in bed.
Britt quipped that was one way to cure hypothermia. Jason just wanted to be sure she was okay as she pushed him away. “I know you don’t trust me completely, not yet. But I really want to help you,” Jason told her. He asked her again to let him help.
“If you’re going to help me, then you need to know the truth. I’ve been lying to you all this time,” Britt admitted.
Britt told Jason that she was being forced to complete her dad’s final project. Jason asked by who.
