Emma and Gio were in afterglow bliss together, and both said they had no regrets. They were happy they’d gotten intimate and were more invested in their relationship.

Anna woke up to find Liesl in scrubs, calling her Scarecrow, and tending to her. Anna told her that she didn’t believe that Liesl would hurt her. Liesl said that she wouldn’t have moved her there, but then he insisted. Anna gasped that she meant Cesar.

“No! That man is dead!” Anna pleaded. Liesl told her that Faison would never let her go. Anna went back to sleep, and the doctor met with Pascal in the hall. She said the treatment went well and that, as predicted, Anna thought she was Dr. Obrecht. Pascal said Anna was ready for the next phase.

The next time Anna awoke, she heard Faison’s voice come over the speaker, telling her that she would be okay and that he had been watching over her.

At the hospital, Liesl walked in and suggested to Britt that she fill Portia’s role. Britt tried laughing her off. Liesl said she was there for Rocco.

Liesl said she wanted to get all the paraphernalia to go to Rocco’s game and cheer, but Britt didn’t think she was welcome. Liesl reminded her that the only reason Rocco was alive was because of her.

Liesl and Britt sat down to talk. Liesl told her that she was angry when Britt let her grieve for her, but she was sad that she wasn’t there for her.

At Alexis’ Trina and Kai were beside themselves trying to understand why Alexis didn’t turn Willow in. Alexis tried to explain that she had to defend her clients, whether or not they were guilty, and it was the prosecution’s job to prove their guilt.

Nina came to Drew’s to take out Willow, but Drew said she went out for a walk. Nina surprisingly told Drew that he’d done a good job taking care of Willow during the trial by hiring Alexis. However, she wanted to take care of her from here on out. She said it was time to do things her way.

Drew twisted everything and threatened to tell Willow that her own mother wished for her to get convicted. Nina went off on Drew about his testimony and how he caused all the problems to begin with. She noted that Alexis called Willow guilty in her closing arguments.

Nina yelled that she wasn’t going to let her daughter spend 20 years in prison because she’d hooked up with him.

Outside Bobbie’s, Chase and Dante had it out about the evidence tampering. Chase understood that Dante had to investigate what happened, but thought Dante should know he wouldn’t steal evidence.

Dante said he needed to see how far Chase would go to protect Willow as much as he needed to find out how far he’d go to do the same for Michael.

Chase agreed he should, but told him if Willow was convicted, not to give up because the only way to overturn it would be to prove Michael was guilty.

At Michael’s request, Willow met him at Bad Jen Cafe. Michael wanted to put aside their personal issues and focus on the kids. Michael wanted to talk about what would happen if she was found guilty.

Michael said there were programs for the kids to see her and deal with her conviction. Willow realized he was only willing to let her see the kids if she was in prison.

Willow asked Michael if he could put his hurt and anger aside for the kids’ sake. Before he could answer, the courthouse called. “The jury’s in. They’ve reached a verdict,” she told him.

Drew arrived at the courthouse in time to see Kai and Michael shaking hands. He didn’t hear Kai tell Michael that although Drew had been good to him, he didn’t agree with the things he’d said on the stand.

The judge came in, followed by the jury. They read the verdict: Not guilty.
