General Hospital Recap

Sonny was waiting for Alexis in her office when she returned. She tried to explain to him that she was in a bind with protecting Scout from Drew and Willow.
Alexis told Sonny that she would never be sure if she made the right choice. Sonny understood: Michael was a grown up with a lot of resources, and Scout was a little girl who needed help because her father was a sorry, pathetic human being.
Sonny said Scout deserved to be raised by someone better. He said she needed Alexis to counterbalance Drew. “Can I still do that if I compromise my ethics along the way?” Alexis asked.
Sonny said that Alexis was a defense attorney but it was on the jury to decide Willow’s fate. Sonny didn’t see Willow as being capable of shooting Drew.
“What if she did it?” Alexis asked. Sonny said that even good people could be pushed to do bad things.
At Wyndermere, a man choked Anna from behind until she was unconscious. He and Pascal updated Sidwell on what happened, and the man assured Sidwell that Anna never saw his face.
Sidwell told the man that Pascal was loyal, whereas Britt was working against them. The man, who also stated he was Sidwell’s partner, said that Anna was becoming more trouble than she was worth.
Pascal came in and said that Ava insisted on talking to Sidwell, and thought he should hear what she had to say.
After Sidwell left, Anna came to. The man told Pascal she was smarter than him, and to keep his distance.
Later, Anna awoke and yelled out, asking who was keeping her there. When she stood up to walk, she collapsed to the floor. Through the speakerphone to her room, Pascal congratulated her performance then walked away.
In the living room, Valentin told Ava that Sidwell didn’t mention she’d be coming by, implying he knew he was there. He noted that Sidwell was singing her praises for the art she’d sold him and her influence on the renos.
Ava offered to go get Sidwell from his business call but when she went to the hall to call Pascal, he didn’t answer. When she turned back around, Valentin was gone.
Pascal came to check in on Ava and told her that Sidwell was delayed. He told her to come back later but Ava insisted on staying until she could talk to Jenz.
Pascal offered to deliver a message so Ava said it was about Sidwell’s houseguest, and she didn’t mean Lucas. Pascal glared at her back as she walked away.
Jason saw Elizabeth at the hospital, and they talked about court and hoped for a decision from the jury soon. Liz told Jason that she still didn’t know who shot Drew.
Jason was sure that all of it was going to have the most effect on the kids. Jason told Elizabeth that Drew was punishing the kids as a way to hurt him.
When Elizabeth got called away, Brad approached Jason and said that, as Britt’s best friend, he wanted him to stay away from her.
Brad said Jason already broke her heart twice, and she was giving him the power to do it again and Brad didn’t want her to take that risk. He said every time he rescued her, he made her believe he wouldn’t hurt her again, and they both knew he would.
Britt came off the elevator and Jason said he wanted to talk to her. Brad interrupted to say whatever it was about, Britt wasn’t interested. “Right Britt?” he asked hopefully.
Britt agreed to talk to Jason. When they walked away, Brad turned to Elizabeth, asking if she was okay with that, meaning Jason and Britt.
Elizabeth said she predicted that Jason and Britt would end in disaster but it was none of their business. She told Brad to just be Britt’s friend and stay out of it.
Meanwhile, down the hall, Jason asked Britt out on a date. Britt said she’d check her schedule. Jason said to trust him on where he had in mind.

Carly hid in the bathroom of Jack’s hotel room as she listened to his conversation with Britt, who told him that Marcel ordered her to work at the lab on Spoon Island.
After Jack threw out Britt, he noticed that the shower was running. Grabbing his gun, he moved towards the bathroom.
Carly was rattled when Jack burst in with his gun pointed at her. He yelled at her that he almost shot her and wanted to know why she was there.
Carly said she wouldn’t do it again, she just wanted to surprise him in bed. Jack said he would never risk her getting between him and Valentin again, and not to do that again as long as he was out there somewhere.
Jack told Carly he didn’t want to lose her and when he almost did, that was when he realized he was deeply falling in love with her. Jack got a call and had to leave for work again, so Carly didn’t have to spend the afternoon in bed with him.
After Carly left, Jack answered a knock on the door. It was Director Collum of the WSB — the same man who rendered Anna unconscious and is Sidwell’s partner. He told Jack that Sidwell they had a situation. “We’ve lost Anna Devane,” Collum said.
Meanwhile back at Wyndermere, Sidwell came to the living room, and Ava told him that she ran into his houseguest earlier. Ava told him that he could trust her. She asked if he really thought it was a good idea to be helping Valentin.
Sidwell said he had no idea he was there, and he would get security to do a sweep of the island. He asked Ava for her discretion as he didn’t want to call the police.
Carly and Valentin both returned to the attic to tell one another what happened. Carly freaked out that Valentin was discovered but he said that Sidwell was hiding something, and because of it, he wouldn’t call the police.
Later, Anna woke up again and made it to the couch. She was alarmed when she realized she had a nosebleed.
