TL;DR: In the General Hospital recap for Thursday, July 9th, 2026, Elizabeth suspects Drew and Brennan’s “strokes” are connected, Jack proposes a deadly solution to Willow’s Drew problem, Sidwell tempts Jordan with reconstructive surgery, Chase uncovers Brook Lynn’s deception, and Sonny and Justine admit they don’t want to walk away from each other.
General Hospital Recap July 9

At Elizabeth’s, she looked at a computer and saw that Brennan had walked out of Turning Woods on his own, and she didn’t know how that would be possible. They talked about if there were some sort of toxins that caused it. Elizabeth noted that Brennan and Drew had the same symptoms, but Brennan was moved to another facility and healed right away. They wondered if there was something at Willow’s making Drew sick.
Sonny and Justine Face Reality

At the apartment above Charlie’s, Sonny warned Justine that their relationship had become far too public after she kissed him at Ava’s gallery. Justine told him that Sidwell caught on to their personal relationship when he called her Justine on the phone, and Sidwell overheard.
Justine revealed she would no longer prosecute Sonny because saving her life had created a conflict of interest. She also couldn’t prosecute Sidwell because he tried to kill her, so she’d asked Molly to take over the case instead. Sonny worried that would place his niece directly in Sidwell’s sights.
The couple acknowledged they probably couldn’t be seen together anymore without damaging the case. When Sonny wondered whether that meant their relationship was over, Justine admitted she didn’t want to lose him. Sonny confessed seeing Sidwell hold her at gunpoint made him realize how much she meant to him, and the two embraced, determined not to walk away from each other.
Sidwell Offers Jordan Her Face Back

At home, Curtis and Jordan met with Martin. As he asked Curtis some questions, Jordan got a call and walked away to take it. When she answered, Sidwell asked her if she had time for her old boss. Jordan made an excuse to leave.
Once alone, Curtis said Jordan wasn’t there, but she was the one who caused the altercation with Isaiah. He told Martin that there was no way he’d accept the plea deal. Martin advised that he could get a longer sentence if the jury doesn’t side with him.
Meanwhile, Jordan went to see Sidwell at the PCPD. Sidwell accused Jordan of betraying him before revealing he had once intended to help her undergo reconstructive surgery at the same exclusive clinic that treated Michael. He claimed he could still make that happen if she agreed to travel to Zurich and retrieve money from his overseas accounts.
Jordan told Sidwell that she had been working undercover against him the entire time. He told her she would regret rejecting his offer and that he’d make her suffer as deeply as he had.
When Jordan came home, Martin admitted Curtis had a compelling story and believed highlighting Jordan’s injuries could help sway a jury. Despite the uncertainty, Curtis remained determined to take his chances at trial.
Tracy Learns Brook Lynn’s Secret

Tracy came home and found Brook Lynn. She asked her how she could be so reckless as to have framed Willow as the other driver. Brook Lynn said it was Lucy’s idea and it seemed like a good one at the time. Tracy said she made a bad situation worse.
Brook Lynn admitted she’d given up half of her Deception shares to secure Lucy’s cooperation. Tracy was furious, reminding her that the shares were meant for them to build the company together. Brook Lynn apologized but insisted protecting Chase and her family mattered more than any business.
Meanwhile, at Metro Court, Lucy told Chase how good he looked without a shirt. He questioned her about her statement to the police, and she recounted that she was at the house when Willow left in a rush. She said she didn’t talk to her and Michael but assumed they’d had a fight.
Lucy mentioned that she’d talked to Brook Lynn that night, but Chase didn’t see how that was possible since she’d told him she wasn’t home and was at the opening of Charlie’s. Lucy covered by saying she’d met with Brook Lynn before she went out, but casually mentioned that Brook Lynn had transferred half her Deception stock to her.
Willow Panics as Jack Suggests a Deadly Solution

At Willow’s, Nina was reeling about the loss of Nathan and Cassius’ deception. Willow and Nina tried to figure out what to do about her latest legal issues. She knew if she was arrested, Michael would use that against her to take the kids. Nina said if that happened, they would take off with the kids and tell them they were on an adventure to make it fun.
Willow said Michael would just pick up the entire planet and shake it until he found them, but Nina was adamant he wouldn’t get the kids away from her ever again. Willow knew she had to take control of the situation and, although she hated the thought of it, seek help from Brennan.
Nina and Willow knew they needed more of the medication, or another way to stop Drew from exposing what they had done. When Brennan arrived, he admitted he no longer had the black box containing leverage against Drew because Cullum had taken it.
Faced with Willow’s growing panic, Jack bluntly suggested there was one obvious way to solve the problem: “You could always kill him.” Both Nina and Willow immediately rejected the idea, insisting they weren’t murderers. Jack said he believed the missing black box was still on Spoon Island and they would need to help find it.
Before they could discuss it further, Elizabeth arrived. She was stunned to see Brennan standing and walking normally after believing he had been trapped with locked-in syndrome only days earlier.
