General Hospital Recap February 25: Emma returns, Chase chooses, Molly and Cody Reunite

TL;DR: In today’s General Hospital recap, the stakes are raised for Jason and Britt as they work against Cullum’s dangerous deadline. Plus, Chase makes a big choice for Brook Lynn, and romance is in the air for Molly and Cody. Emma returns, Lucas warns Ava, and Elizabeth is turning hea

General Hospital Recap Feb 25

In the cabin, Jason told Britt about his meeting with Cullum and she updated him on her latest orders: give Cullum a working prototype or she dies.

Britt said she believed she could do it, but the damage Sidwell and Cullum could do with that much power was too scary to think about. As it had never been built or tested, the results could be catastrophic, she said.

Britt shared that she tried to delay production but Cullum has a tight deadline. Jason said she’d have to play along until they got her meds. Britt smiled and said Lucas was willing to do it. 

Jason assured her that they were in it together and he wouldn’t leave her. He said if Lucas couldn’t do it, they still would.

Lucas Warns Ava

Lucas met with Ava and asked her to stay away from Sidwell but she thought his concerns were coming from Carly getting under his skin. Lucas said Carly was right, and he felt terrible that she’d been spending time with Sidwell but it had to stop. Ava wasn’t too concerned and blew off Lucas’ fretting and said she knew how to handle a man like Jenz.

Brook Lynn’s Ultimatum

At home, Chase couldn’t believe Brook Lynn was giving him an ultimatum about choosing to adopt or continue on as a justice seeker, and failed to see how he was doing anything wrong.

Brook Lynn wanted to know why Chase stayed on at the force after his demotion, and if it was only to go after Michael. He insisted he was all about the justice and the facts.

Brook Lynn said Chase’s actions spoke volumes, and it was if he thought justice wouldn’t prevail without him moving it forward. She said he sounded like a vigilante against Michael.

Brook Lynn worried that Chase would lose sight of having their family. He promised his focus would be on having children from now on. “Nothing is going to stop us from adopting a child, least of all me,” he said.

The Book Club

At Brown Dog, Cody met with Molly and told her he read her book after Kristina encouraged him to. They analyzed Casey, and Cody’s opinion had changed. 

Cody told Molly that if she was holding back from publishing her book because of him, it would be a real shame because it was good and people deserved to read it.

Molly was delighted when she realized how much attention Cody had paid to the details of her book. When she realized he joined a book club and read Pride and Prejudice, she was charmed.

When Cody went to leave, she stopped him. Molly ran over and planted a big kiss on him.   

Carly Tells Valentin

In the attic, Carly told Valentin that Lucas knew the truth about Marco, and thought that would affect her ability to get into Wyndermere again.

When Valentine found out that Lucas confronted Marc about everything he’d overheard, Valentin didn’t think Lucas was too smart. However, he said that their plan had to continue regardless.

Valentin asked Carly not to tell Lucas everything or he might tell Marco, who would give Sidwell a heads up. He asked if he did tell him, to give him a heads up so he could run.

Carly said she trusted him up until then, and wouldn’t stop. She knew Lucas was in danger but needed to save Josslyn. And now Lucas. “We stick to the plan,” she agreed.

Dante’s New Love Interest

Dante went to the hospital to ask Elizabeth for a favor. He said the investigation into Michael was hanging heavy over the house. 

Dante shared that it seemed Chase needed Michael to be the one who shot Drew, and he won’t stop until he proves it. Dante said he was looking for clarity.

Elizabeth said she could speak for Willow’s frame of mind at the time, but she never even saw the gun. She didn’t want to believe either of them could have done it. She told him he might need to accept that they’ll never know the truth.

Emma Returns

Gio took Fizz to Anna’s and was looking at flights to go see Emma when she walked in the door. She was very distressed and asked him to hold her.

Emma told Gio how she’d told her mom about Anna, and how upset she was. Emma went back to France to see her grandmother, but they wouldn’t let her in.

Emma didn’t think Anna would be upset to see them, but she did think Anna wanted to protect people from Faison. She saw her in the garden, though, and Anna looked peaceful.

Noting that her mom seemed to need her more than her grandmother at the moment, Emma suggested going back to Berkley.

Gio asked about long distance, and then said if he wasn’t overstepping, he’d move out there with her. Ema said all she wanted was to be with him, and she even took an earlier flight than she’d had booked.

Gio showed her how he was booking a flight for the next day to see her, too. “Youre the best, most magical thing…the most surprising thing that ever happened to me,” Gio said with a big smile. He and Emma told one another how in love they were.
