A Quotable & Pictorial Walk Down Memory Lane

Tracy (hugging Lulu): “What’s wrong? I’ll take care of it. I’ll fix it. I’ll hire someone to fix it. Oh, consider it fixed.”
Lulu: “Nothing’s wrong. Can’t a stepdaughter get a hug from her stepmonster?”
Lulu: “My dad said he was always shocked he didn’t burst into flames when he walked into one [church].”
Tracy: “However, a watering hole, on the other hand…”
Lulu: “Welcomed with open arms.”
Tracy: “Do we look like the type to trash a bar?”
Bar Custodian: [looking at Lulu] “Her? No. You? Definitely.”
Tracy [laughs]: “Thank you. I feel seen.”
Lulu: “What was dad’s drink again?”
Tracy: “Oh, I think the better question is, what wasn’t his drink?”
Tracy (to Lulu): “Your father chased his demons. He even caught up with a few, just not the one that liked to drink with him.”

Laura: “No one would ever accuse us of being boring. We burned too brightly for that. Even when we built a family, we never stopped being an adventure. That’s because of you, my love. Because you were a force of nature. You didn’t just walk on this Earth. You changed it. You changed me. I see you in our kids, of course, you know? In their fire and in their stubbornness and in their refusal to live life small.”

Laura: “Thank you for the dance. Thank you for the adventure. And, thank you for the love of a lifetime.”

Flashback:
Luke: “Welcome to our honeymoon, you wildcat.”
Tracy: “There’s not enough alcohol in this world that would ever make me marry you.”

Flashback:
Luke (to Tracy): “So, here I am before you…deeply flawed. Offering you my broken body and my battered heart…”

Carly: “Donna found that [poker chip]. You’re not teaching her to gamble, are you?”
Sonny: “She’s not old enough to count cards, but when she is…”
Carly: “That’s not funny.”
Carly (to Sonny about the poker chip): “Well, you’d better take that home with you. Donna’s gonna cover that in glitter, or she’s going to learn how to play Texas Hold ‘Em, and I don’t need either headache.”
Sonny: “Luke was more than my friend, he was my brother.”

Flashback:
Luke (to Sonny): “Look, Corinthos, that gun belongs in the life that we both chose. I’m walking away from that life. I got to find something else, something different while there’s still time.”

Flashback:
Carly: “Are you calling me a liar?”
Luke: “Nope. I’m calling you a Spencer, through and through. You came out of the womb ready to rumble. You don’t suffer fakes or fools, and I appreciate that.”

Sonny (to the group): “Do you know, in some cultures, people believe that, uh…you die twice…one, when you take your last breath, and then…when your name is mentioned for the last time.”
Tracy: “Does it matter if you use the actual name, or could ‘jackass’ suffice? ‘Cause then, Luke would live on forever.”

Laura (to Lulu): “…Sometimes, we act like you say one final goodbye and that’s it. And, sometimes, in some situations, it is. But with your dad, it’s a little bit more like, ‘see you later’. Yeah, sometimes, just hearing a certain tone in someone’s voice, or I hear a song by one of his favorite artists, or sometimes I catch a scent, and it smells just like one of his shirts, and it’s like he’s right there standing in the room with me.”

Sonny: “May Luke be joined with his beloved Haunted Star and may he always roll sevens.”
