In the General Hospital recap for Tuesday, December 30th, 2025, Jason and Britt celebrated three occasions, Cody and Molly rocked in the new year, and Jordan and Curtis committed.
General Hospital Recap

On New Year’s Eve, Curtis went to Jordan’s and asked if they could usher in the new year together. Curtis came in and they talked about everything. Jordan understood Curtis, hoping that the baby was his. “I just wish it was with you,” Curtis told her.
Curtis told Jordan that what happened in the courtroom crystallized everything for him. He knew his future was with Jordan and didn’t want to wait to get it started. “Neither do I,” Jordan said, then kissed him before they went to the bedroom and made love.
Cody showed Outback his outfit and asked how he looked. Molly called just then to cancel. She said she was sorry but was at the office and still working. Cody offered to make up for it another time, and they could recreate the celebration. Molly felt bad and promised she wasn’t backing out for any reason but work.
When Molly hung up the phone, she put her head on her desk and sighed. When Cody hung up, Outback barked at him. Cody agreed that he was giving up too easily and decided to turn the night around.
Gio, Emma, Trina, and Kai were supposed to go to the Savoy but Trina didn’t want to. Everyone understood, and Gio said they could celebrate at Trina’s instead. Emma got a call from Cody, though, who needed to go out and was worried about Outback and the fireworks. Gio offered to go with her, and Trina encouraged them to go.
Once alone, Trina talked about the new year and her plans for her art. She got out a photo of the two of them and said she took it down when they broke up but asked if they could put it back up together.
Carly brought a bottle of champagneand two glasses up to the attic. She said that Jack picked out the bottle, but he’d been called out to work. Valentin wondered if she was still playing that she had no feelings for Jack. Carly insisted she’d do anything for her daughter. Carly was adamant that Jack had to go down.
Valentin said that he wanted Charlotte back in his life, and Lulu’s fears weren’t unfounded. With Jack gone, Valentin wanted to build a life in Port Charles, although he knew it was complicated. Regardless, he had no intention of taking Charlotte from her mother.
Valentin noted that Carly was the only one who talked to him like a parent. “As opposed to what, a criminal? Because you are,” Carly quipped. She added that even criminals can be good parents.
Carly and Valentin rang in the new year together. He told her that he honored his debts, and she told him she was running a tab.
Britt came to the Q mansion to see Jason. She told him it was her birthday and the anniversary of her death, and didn’t want to mark either occasion alone. She said she wanted his company. Jason leaped into questioning Britt about her meds, so she got frustrated and wanted to leave.
Jason stopped her but still declined her offer to go to Brown Dog and celebrate. He didn’t think he could be the company she needed that night. Britt said she’d go find Brad instead because he’d just get drunk or watch tv without trying to appeal to her better angels.
Jason said he cared about Britt and wanted her to be okay. “Do you not see that?” he asked gently. Britt wiped away a tear. Britt told Jason that she needed to do things on her own, but knew that Jason wanted to help. She appreciated that he disapproved of everything she did but still came through for her, and thought that was the sign of a great friend.
Britt told Jason the other reason she came by. She said that the person she most wanted to be around was him, because when she was with Jason, her life didn’t feel so chaotic. Jason told her happy birthday and kissed her.
At her place, Lulu told Nathan that maybe Valentin wasn’t coming for Charlotte after all. She noted she had gotten used to Nathan being around, and having him there made her relax. Nathan understood that being away so long, Lulu would want to hold on tight to her kids.
Nathan asked what it was like for Lulu to get back into her life. Lulu said she found lots of positives, including having a friend like him. Lulu said that Dante fell in love with Sam while she was gone, and their foundation had changed. She wasn’t sure she could lean on him like she once did.
Nathan also focused on the positives in his life, including having Lulu in it. “And I’ve got you,” Lulu said as they looked at one another as the fireworks began.
When Emma and Gio got to Cody’s, he quickly explained his emergency and rushed off. Emma asked if Gio wanted to talk about the violin. Gio said he didn’t feel pressured to play in the moment, but there was a gap between who he was and who he was now, and he wasn’t sure what part of him the violin was a part of anymore.
Gio said it felt like he was going through the motions, but it didn’t feel like him anymore. Emma said if he rediscovered it, or if he never played again, he would still be an incredible person. Gio said she made him feel like he could do anything.
Emma and Gio kissed under the fireworks. She told him that being at the club would have been fun, but thought being at the barn was a much better way to bring in the new year together, and Gio agreed.
Molly was going over legal paperwork, looking for a specific precedent, when Cody came in and told her he was bringing New Year’s Eve to her. He asked if there was anything he could do to help, and Molly had an idea. Cody read out the information she needed while Molly typed, and soon she was done and able to shut off her laptop.
Molly and Cody put on New Year’s headbands and broke out the champagne. She hoped he didn’t lose money on tickets to something since he’d been the one to make plans. Cody said he’d just decorated the barn a little to celebrate there. Molly suggested they dance in her boss’s office instead, since they were there.
“Is it just me, or are those fireworks getting louder?” Molly asked. “It just might be my heart,” Cody told her. They began to kiss, then Molly unbuttoned his shirt. Cody stopped her, saying it was her boss’s office and they couldn’t do it there. “Yes, we can — it’s New Year’s,” Molly said with a coy smile.
