In the General Hospital recap for Friday, December 26, 2025, Gio got his gift back, Willow implored Drew to cheer up Scout, and Charlotte told Rocco she saw her dad.
General Hospital Recap

At Laura and Kevin’s apartment, Kevin noted Laura’s ability to put her troubles aside to celebrate Christmas with those she loved. Lulu, Rocco, and Charlotte arrived, but Lulu said they had a surprise. Sonny, wearing a Santa hat, came in with a sack over his shoulder, saying, “Ho! Ho! Ho!”
Laura thanked Sonny for coming by. He reminded her that Dalton was gone, and he’d deal with Sidwell. Alone for a moment, Kevin thanked Sonny for helping Laura when he couldn’t. Laura breathed a smile of relief when she saw the two men shake hands.
Later, Rocco asked Charlotte if she was faking her good mood, but she told him it was real. Charlotte told Rocco that she got to see Valentin. Before she could explain, everyone joined them.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Wylie and Leo brought a frog from the stables to show Tracy, but it escaped. Tracy told Cody that Boxing Day used to be a reset day, but now it’s chaotic. She confided that she missed Monica a lot. Cody suggested that she focus on the people who are there instead.
As Olivia came down the stairs, Ned told her that he appreciated how kind she was to his mom, especially when she wasn’t handling grief well. He was endeared to Olivia even more when she told him how much she’d grown to love Tracy. Olivia told Ned that his heart attack made her priorities get on track.
Gio and Emma arrived to a warm welcome from Ned and Olivia. Ned told Gio that Tracy had gone to great lengths to ensure Gio felt like one of the family.
In the kitchen, Tracy told Gio that relationships, especially Quartermaine ones, were complicated. She admitted it took her almost 40 years to realize she loved Monica.
Sonny came to the door and told Ned that Michael had asked him to come by. Ned let him in, and said that “it” arrived. Sonny said that they would know when the time was right, and Ned agreed.
Wylie invited Sonny to a Yankees game as he got tickets from Michael for Christmas. Brook Lynn offered to cover for Tracy if she wanted to slip out to Metro Court for a drink or something. Tracy said it wasn’t her preference, but in honor of Monica, she’d carry on her tradition and stay.
Leo came into the living room and called out to Ned, and everyone turned to see him holding a violin case. “Look what I found! You forgot to give Gio his Christmas present!” Leo said.
Ned and Olivia tried to get Leo to just put the violin back where he found it but he insisted on asking questions, forcing Sonny to admit that he and Ned got it for Gio but not for Christmas. Leo insisted that Gio not only get the present immediately but that he play it.
Wylie chimed in, noting that Tracy was sad and missing Monica, and that hearing Gio play would cheer her up. Gio quietly said that he missed Monica, too.
Gio opened the violin case, and looked at the instrument inside. He took it out and held i, then took the bow. Walking into the foyer, he cried over the violin. Brook Lynn recalled the last time Gio played, then put her hand on Gio’s arm. She smiled at him in comfort, knowing what he was also thinking. Gio returned to the living room and began to play “O Holy Night.” When he was done, Tracy tearfully hugged him and said, “Thank you.”
At Drew’s, Scout told Willow that she didn’t know when she could see her grandma and aunt, but wanted to give them their gifts. Drew was ranting on the phone, but Willow promised Scout that she’d get her presents to Alexis, Molly, and Kristina.
Willow empathized with Scout’s grief, missing her mom so much during the holidays. Scout said that it was different because she couldn’t see her mom, but she could see her family — if only her dad would let her.
Scout went up to her room; when Drew got off the phone, Willow told him that Scout didn’t want him to think she didn’t like being with him, but it was just the second Christmas since his young daughter lost her mother, and she was feeling very alone. Willow said that Scout wanted to see Alexis and her aunts and suggested they bring her there for the evening while they were out.
Drew ranted that Alexis wasn’t protecting Willow from going to prison. Willow told him that Scout seeing her family had nothing to do with her case, but Drew corrected her and said flat out that Alexis knows his rules. Willow pleaded not to think of it as a concession for Alexis. “Think of it as a beautiful gift for Scout — and for me,” Willow asked.
Kristina and Molly came to see Alexis, but she was hard at work to win Willow’s case. She shared that she was worried that if she didn’t, Drew would take Scout to D.C. permanently, and they’d never see her again.
Molly and Kristina convinced Alexis to take a break so she could recharge. They told her the files would look different to her in the morning if she took the night off.
Alexis, Molly, and Kristina curled up on the couch under a blanket and ate Chinese food while watching movies. Molly went to answer the door, but realized it was Cody. She quickly tried to fix her hair before opening the door.
Cody came in, and Alexis and Kristina gave them some time alone by going to the kitchen. Cody asked Molly to ring in the new year with him, and she happily accepted.
Lucas and Marco got ready for the Boxing Day party at Wyndermere. Lucy arrived and was surprised to find Ava there as well, thinking she was the only one Sidwell had invited.
At the party, Lucas told Ava that Pascal creeped him out. Ava said it was vague, but he made a good martini. Ava advised Lucas to give it some time, and eventually it would feel more and more like his home, and then he could decide who came and went from it.
When Jordan arrived, Sidwell told her that Drew and Willow would be coming. Sidwell wondered how they could get him reelected if his wife was convicted.
Lucy told Marco that she was married Lucas’ father, briefly. She shared that she was happy that Lucas had found love with Marco. Meanwhile, Ava assured Jordan that she was Portia’s friend, but always on Trina’s side. Jordan said Trina was lucky to have Ava, and that there were no sides.
Lucy tried to vie for Jenz’s attention as he and Ava talked about art. Alone, Ava told Lucy straight up that Jenz was a very important client and wouldn’t let her get in the way.
When Drew arrived, Sidwell answered the door and let him in, and then brought everyone to the dining room for dinner.
At Alexis’ there was another knock on the door. Alexis, Molly, and Kristina rushed to hug Scout, as Willow smiled from the doorway.
