General Hospital Recap August 4: Hudson Attacks Ethan, Willow Targets Michael, Drew Shocks Curtis

TL;DR: In today’s General Hospital recap for Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, Willow revealed her plan to go after Michael by reopening Drew’s shooting case, Drew stunned Curtis with an offer to testify on his behalf, Ethan was confronted by Hudson in Norway, and Gio questioned the secrecy surrounding Phoebe’s adoption.

General Hospital Recap August 4

At the Metro Court, Nina, Willow, and Liesl toasted to Willow and Drew’s divorce. Liesl insisted on knowing why the divorce was happening at all.

Willow and Nina fielded Liesl’s questions about Drew and her Congressional seat. Willow said she needed to get her own place since she’d have the kids full time. “How did you get Michael to agree to that?” Nina asked.

Willow said he hadn’t, but he wouldn’t have a say in it soon. She wanted to reopen Drew’s shooting case, and that Michael needed to be brought to justice. Since Anna was back and Dante couldn’t cover for his brother, Willow was going to suggest that reopening the investigation would benefit their federal funding.

When Nina left on a call, Liesl pointed out Willow was using her political position to get what she wanted, just like Drew did. When it came to Anna, Liesl advised her not to poke that bear. Liesl also pointed out that Nina would do anything for Willow and asked her to leave her mother out of whatever she had planned.

Meanwhile, Nina called Jack for advice, telling him Willow’s plan to go after Michael by reopening Drew’s shooting case. The reception was bad, so she moved away, revealing Trina overheard behind her.

Ava Gives Trina Her Blessing

At another table, Ava gave Trina a graduation present: a plan to make her a partner at the gallery one day. Trina appreciated it but said she couldn’t accept. She explained she had a new dream, and told her about her singing contract.

Ava couldn’t wait for the whole world to see what a star she was. Trina said she was supposed to get in the studio as soon as possible but hoped to stay on at the gallery part-time. Ava was happy with that, and Trina gushed about how much she had done for her.

Ava told Trina she stopped thinking of herself as her mentor long ago, and was truly happy for her. She said she’d put the partnership idea in her safe, and could revisit it anytime if Trina changed her mind.

Ava asked about Ethan, and Ava shared that they were over already. She couldn’t figure out his angle, but thought she’d dodged a bullet. When Trina stepped away, Ava pulled out her phone and re-read her unanswered texts to Ethan, asking where he was.

Ethan Is Attacked in Norway

In a hotel suite in Oslo, Norway, Ethan (using the name Mr. Davidson) called to find out why his room service hadn’t shown up. There was a knock at the door, so he opened it, but Hudson was waiting. Ethan tried to shut the door, but Hudson kicked his way in. “Where is she?!” he barked.

Hudson told Ethan he wasn’t treating his old friend very well, making him track him down from Port Charles. Ethan tried punching him in the abs and hurt his hand. Hudson started choking him and warned Ethan to cooperate.

Hudson Listens In

Later, Hudson gave Ethan ice, then asked about Delilah. Ethan told him that Delilah and the baby were both gone, and that they died before he got to town. Hudson yelled that it was all Ethan’s fault.

Hudson said that it was because of Ethan’s meddling that Delilah ran off; Ethan said she was scared. “What am I supposed to do now?” Hudson seethed. “If it helps, Delilah loved that baby with all her heart,” Ethan replied. Hudson punched him in the face. They began fighting again, and Hudson told him he was a thief and finished the job.

Ethan swore it wasn’t his fault, but Hudson didn’t care. He leaned over him and warned that if he was lying to him, he’d finish him off next time — and his mother and sister, and he’d make sure he’d watch him do it.

Hudson waited in the hallway after leaving a recording device in the room. Unaware of that, Ethan found his phone and called Ava, who threatened to hang up on him.

Ethan called her by name when he demanded that she swear to him that she would never tell anyone the truth about the baby. Ava promised but wanted to know if he was in some sort of trouble. Ethan hung up without answering, and Hudson left.

Phoebe’s Adoption Is Official

At the Q’s, Alexis was running late, but when she got there, she assured Brook Lynn, Chase, Olivia, Ned, and Gio that nothing changed, and she brought the adoption paperwork to make it official.

Brook Lynn and Chase met with Alexis privately to discuss it, and reiterated the private adoption meant the father’s name wouldn’t be released. Alexis reiterated that there was no chance that he would ever reveal his identity no matter who raised her.

Before Alexis left, Brook Lynn told her that if his father ever asked, they would pay him, no questions asked. Gio shared his concerns about the adoption with Olivia and Ned, championing for Phoebe to know everyone involved and there be no secrets.

Carly Reveals Josslyn’s Secret to Michael

Carly invited Michael to breakfast and quickly got Josslyn to drop the bomb on him that she was WSB. Michael thought it was cool. Carly was outraged and had hoped that Michael would talk her out of it, but he didn’t.

Carly explained that she wasn’t a desk agent, and it was dangerous. Michael still thought that if Josslyn liked her job, they should just be supportive. Carly revealed that Josslyn almost died in a recent incident. Michael lamented that he let them both down by being so caught up in his own problems and being unaware of all they’d been through.

Drew Offers Curtis A Way Out

Drew came to Aurora and apologized to Curtis for all the things he’d done to him. In front of Martin, Drew said that he couldn’t move or speak for six months, which gave him a chance to reflect on the mistakes he’d made while trying to hold on to Willow.

Drew said that he and Curtis used to be friends, and that it was at the top of his list of regrets. Drew wanted to make amends. He said that the prosecution wanted him to testify at Curtis’ trial, but instead of helping them, he was going to help Curtis.

Drew said he would testify that Joe misunderstood his blinking when he questioned him, and that Willow was at home at the time of the accident. He said it wouldn’t make up for everything he’d done to Curtis and his family, but hoped it was a start.

Curtis wasn’t happy about any of it, and didn’t believe that Drew would help him out of the goodness of his heart, or make amends. “What’s this ‘help’ going to cost me?” he asked.

Drew told Curtis that he couldn’t do anything while Willow handed Scout over to Alexis, and he could only imagine the horrible things she told his daughter about him. He said that would happen to Drew and Desmond, too. Drew said that as his friend, he’d testify on his behalf if he wanted it or not, and wanted nothing in return.
