General Hospital Recap August 14: Charlotte and Danny Plot Against Drew as Brennan Offers Alexis Help

TL;DR: In today’s General Hospital recap for Friday, August 14th, 2026, Jason told Carly he quit Sonny, Justine gave Sonny an ultimatum, Charlotte and Danny plotted against Drew, Scout confided in Rocco, and Tracy was shocked to learn that Willow was moving in.

General Hospital Recap August 14

Tracy found Michael in the kitchen to ask why there was a moving truck at the gate. He’d hoped to have had more caffeine before that conversation, but told her what was happening with Willow. At first, Tracy was vehemently against having her on the property.

Tracy told Michael to use what he had against Willow to get full custody, and then get her out of their lives but he told her he couldn’t. After Michael explained that his kids needed their mom in their lives, Tracy relented.

Michael didn’t think it would affect Willow since she and Chase seemed to be in a better place and were closer after their last Willow issue. Tracy said she would explain to Brook Lynn that the kids were Quartermaines and they needed to do this for them.

Scout Breaks Down

At the Metro Court pool, Rocco filled in for Danny so he wouldn’t upset Drew. When Rocco saw Scout there to practice swimming, he told her about it. Scout lamented that Drew wouldn’t let her see her brother and how much it bothered her.

Scout said if she told Rocco a secret, he couldn’t tell anyone. She cried and told him that her life was easier when Drew was in a wheelchair. Scout felt horrible about it, but at least she had freedom when Drew couldn’t function. 

Rocco wondered if Drew hated him, too, but they surmised that given his connection to Sonny, Drew probably did feel a way about him. 

Meanwhile, at a table in the restaurant, Alexis tried to see if Drew would consider letting Scout see her family on Sam’s side, but he said no. She asked if he wasn’t just a little relieved to know that they had taken good care of Scout when he couldn’t. He still said no. 

Jack Brennan interrupted and noted that as an ex-Congressman, Drew should be aware of how he acts, and to consider whether or not he’d ever done anything that could come back to haunt him. Drew haughtily told him he didn’t need his advice. After Drew went to order Scout around, Jack told Alexis they could help one another.

Danny and Charlotte Plot

At the lake house, Danny complained to Charlotte that he couldn’t seem to get Drew not to hate him. She told him that Drew never would stop, but suggested they come up with a way to get leverage. Since the police couldn’t get anything on him, Charlotte thought they could make something up.

Danny worried that framing Drew would hurt Scout. But Charlotte told him the only way he might be able to see his sister is if they had something on Drew. She said it would have to be big.

Cody Misses James

At the barn, Molly discovered Cody’s hand was bleeding and he told her that Hades bit him. Cody related the entire experience to James and Hades and thought the horse missed James like he did.

Molly cheered him up by telling him that although the book tour was canceled, she was invited to do a meet-and-greet with fans. She was going to be staying in a hotel and invited Cody to join her. 

Justine and Sonny

Justine met with Sonny and accused him of plotting to knock off Sidwell in prison but Sonny insisted he had no plans like that. He said that from now on, he was just a coffee guy and was getting out of the business.

Thinking that would make Justine want to be with him openly, Sonny was surprised when she said they’d still need to be a secret. Sonny told her that he didn’t want her out of his life, so if they had to keep it a secret, he would agree to that.

Jason and Carly Make Amends

At Carly’s, Jason revealed that he’d quit working for Sonny. He apologized for the past when he’d convinced her to stay in an unsafe environment and said he shouldn’t have done that. Carly forgave him, and he told her why he was quitting.

They talked about his future, and she suggested he work for the Quartermaines but he didn’t like that idea. He didn’t know what he wanted to do, but whatever it was, Danny had to understand he was putting him first.
