General Hospital Recap April 27: Britt Shakes Rocco, Dante Exposes Josslyn, Cullum Traces Valentin’s Call

TL;DR: In today’s General Hospital recap, Cullum traces Valentin’s call to Anna, Ethan makes Sonny an offer to eliminate Sidwell, Britt loses control with Rocco when she sees him near Cullum, and Dante exposes Josslyn’s lie about her secret WSB affiliation.

General Hospital Recap April 27

Carly brought Valentin dinner, and he told her about his visit from Josslyn, the book, and that Anna was convinced that Faison was alive. He said Josslyn neglected to tell them earlier about Cullum having the book and cigarellos.

Valentin noted that Cullum was an expert on Faison and was carrying his items. He suspected that Cullum had a direct role in Anna’s breakdown.

Carly wondered why he didn’t just kill Anna, but Valentin said no one, especially him, would’ve rested until the killer was found. He thought there was a connection between two of Faison’s kids coming back and the timing of her breakdown.

Valentin admitted he’d called the clinic as Kevin and got info, but wanted to talk to her himself. Carly worried that the WSB was monitoring Anna and that the call could lead them straight to her house.

Liesl Warns Josslyn

Liesl told Josslyn rather curtly that Nathan would never impersonate Cesar. “Right, because Cesar killed Nathan, except he didn’t,” Josslyn retorted.

Liesl warned Josslyn that the wrong people knowing she was questioning Faison could get her in the same position as Anna. Josslyn told her she didn’t want that and would let it go, but it was just an act to leave.

Ethan Offers His Services

Ethan met with Sonny, but they were interrupted by Lucy. She told Sonny privately that she was going to make her move on Jenz.

After Lucy left, Sonny told Ethan that Ava could handle herself, but if he saw that Lucy was in danger, to get her out of it. “You know there’s an easier solution to your problem, right? Just eliminate the guy,” Ethan suggested.

Sonny was surprised that Ethan was willing to knock someone off and clarified what his price. “That would be business. This is personal,” Ethan told him. He said that his opinion on it changed when Sidwell tried to kill his mom.

Sonny asked what was stopping Ethan. “Just kill him already,” Sonny said. Ethan told Sonny that there was obviously a reason he wanted to keep him alive.

Sonny was impressed that Ethan read the situation the way he did and didn’t act before checking to see if it would ruin his plans. He said he didn’t want him dead — yet — but had his reasons. 

Ethan told Sonny when he was ready to let him know. “Good to know,” Sonny replied.

Cullum Questions Elizabeth

In Cullum’s hospital room, he thanked Elizabeth for her professionalism and kindness despite sharing a child with the man who shot her.

Cullum made it clear that he knew the details of her life, and then asked if she’d been working the night he was shot. She told him she was, but didn’t see Jason.

After Liz left, Cullum got a call. “Anna Devane? Interesting,” Cullum mused to the person on the phone.

Elizabeth Has Info For Dante

Meanwhile, Rocco showed up for his shift at the hospital, to Britt’s dismay. Dante, who drove him, asked if she’d seen Elizabeth. When Rocco went to get changed, Dante told Britt that he’d like to question her about what happened on the pier, but she said her statement hadn’t changed.

She came out of Cullum’s room, and she told him that Cullum had just questioned her like he was looking for answers. 

Dante reviewed how Jason assaulted him to leave town, and that wasn’t normal. He said he wished he could’ve protected him, but now he was gone, and Danny was devastated.

Britt Shakes Up Rocco

Britt saw Rocco peeking in Cullum’s hospital room window and snatched him away, then demanded to know what he was doing. Rocco said he had to see him. “I’ve never shot anyone before,” he added loudly.

Britt told him this wasn’t a joke and his life was in danger. She yelled in his face to get it through his head to stay away from Cullum.

Rocco said okay, but she didn’t think he understood the gravity and told him to stay away from her as well. Just then, Elizabeth came around the corner and saw her yelling and shaking Rocco, so she ran over and told Britt to leave him alone.

Rocco left, and Britt said that she was trying to keep Rocco safe. She cried that she’d been told many times she’d be a disaster in Rocco’s life and was beginning to believe it.

Britt told Elizabeth that if she wanted to run in and play hero, that was fine, but at least keep him safe by keeping him away.

Dante Exposes Josslyn’s Lies

Josslyn went to see Dante and said her mom was worried about Jason, so she wanted to see if there was anything he could tell her from the PCPD investigation. 

Dante said Jason admitted to shooting a WSB agent, so there was no PCP investigation. Josslyn flashed back to seeing Nathan leaving Cullum’s room.

Josslyn was going to leave, but shrugged it off, saying that Dante knew more about the WSB than she did. Dante disagreed and told her straight up that he knew she worked for them.

Dante said he’d known since last summer and only told Anna. But he wanted to know why she was asking about an investigation that should be run by her office.

Josslyn said nothing added up, but she’d been benched. Dante said, temporarily deactivated or not, she was still WSB. “The next time you show up here wanting information from me, you better show up with something useful, and you better be ready to trade.”

A disgruntled Josslyn said she understood and left. Dante called for the evidence from the pier shooting to be brought to him so he could reopen the investigation.

Cullum’s Working From The Hospital 

Nathan saw James practicing his martial arts outside of Bobbie’s. Sidwell came up as he flipped a chair, but he was meeting Lucy. Inside, they all talked, but Nathan was invited by Liesl for dessert, so he and James left.

Lucy worked on Sidwell to get on his yacht this summer. He was charmed but suggested they invite Ava as well.

Sidwell got a call from Cullum and went outside to take it. Cullum told him that they had been tracing Anna’s calls, and that she had one from Dr. Kevin Collins, but it wasn’t from Ireland — the call originated from Port Charles. He told Sidwell they had to find out who called, and pay that person a visit.
